"We both loved the Tree House."
It is very spacious accommodation. The kitchen is quite small and only space for 1 person to do anything in. The Tree House is in a remote spot and the road up to the property is not well maintained. It is very narrow with no passing places, but we only encountered another vehicle coming the other way once in 4 days. Parking once you get there can be difficult to get in and out of, depending on how many cars are in the main property. We struggled a few times getting in and out. We stayed on New Years Eve and there was a very big storm. The hut was a bit noisy, but we felt safe and secure inside and the small heater was enough to keep the room warm. We had our dog, and there was plenty of room for her to run around. It would be useful to have a longer shower lead, so we could wash her down after a muddy walk. It would help keep the property clean in the wetter months. The hut would be difficult to get to for anyone with mobility issues, with 29 steps. The top steps were particularly slippery on the frosty morning we had. There were more steps to the hot tub, which was well maintained and the water very clean. We wanted a quiet getaway for this break and that is exactly what we got. There are plenty of places to visit once there and the area is very beautiful. The view from the hut is great, rolling farmland and the sea in the distance. If you want a peaceful break then i would definitely recommend the Tree House.
