  • "Loved the tree house and all the birds etc but could do with a map or a sign directing you to the walk as had to leave site to find walks when that is what attracted us to it."

Also, could do with attending to the road in as so many deep pot holes which were almost impossible to miss. Waited an hour for the owners son to show us how to access the walk but he didn’t turn up.

  • "Really, really nice stay in a remote Tree House, with lively views and a really nice character to everything, everything was in good order when we arrived and we really enjoyed our holiday here."

Would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a couple of days away.

  • "Fabulous relaxing stay in the lovely tree house Plenty of room for the 2 of us and our 3 dogs Electric Shower was nice and powerful and great size Just a couple of small points to improve on for next visitors."

.. Bigger bedsheet as it kept slipping off every night due to the depth being too short Poor reception on TV Teatowel needed Trays/dishes needed for microwave e.g. for grilling etc Bread knife would be useful A welcome book would be really useful... especially for refuse instructions - I know it's on the email but it's easier in a welcome book as well as local markets, local businesses ie butchers, fishmongers etc, emergency contacts, local events etc Another bin to put clear bag in for recycling ♻️ products - even if it's put on the decking area Mirror needed in main area - could be to the left of the hooks for drying hair etc Great stay and would highly recommend to others

  • "We loved it there, the only issue was the shower went cold after a couple of minutes."

A maiden/washing line would be useful too but thats being picky!

  • "Great location and explained very well for what you are getting, it is a small cabin located in the trees."

Great location with access to lots of local towns and things to do. Has all the amenities required for a few days trip. Only marked down was facilities and maintenance as it got very damp, when we got a shower and didn’t leave the fan on it created a very muggy smell in the room, possibly alternative extraction method or small window would be good.

  • "Absolutely loved our stay in this truly unique property."

such a tranquil spot up in the trees. clean, tidy and everything you need for a cosy enjoyable break. the weather wasn't on our side which meant drying towels was a mission so maybe an airer for the deck could help with this. the wooden steps were slippy when wet, some chicken wire could solve that and the steep track had some good size potholes which could put off those with a low car but none of these put us off what was a lovely peaceful break in a gorgeous part of the world. we were 2 adults and 2 children(one of which is adult size) we were all fine for space etc. the property provided everything we needed and the hot tub was a great place to relax even when it was raining.

  • "The Tree House and outside decking is lovely, we had a very relaxed calm time."

The only comments I would make is the shower is not really useable it kept going scoulding hot and then freezing cold which is not ideal not being able to shower when staying 3 days. Also the route to the hot tub could do with some extra lighting as pathway is tricky to negiotate in the dark and maybe some lighting around the hot tub area as again for when its dark. Also when bring a dog maybe a fence or gate to make it more enclosed means the dog can have a little run around without fear they are going to run off into the carpark.

  • "Hi it was lovely but the road leading up was terrible."

Also the treehouse felt damp at times. It was very clean with all the facilities you needed. The morning bird song was amazing. The area was great but we missed having a local pub to walk to. Thank you

  • "Beautiful property nestled in the trees."

So peaceful. My partner, myself and our staffy Flash enjoyed the isolation and the beautiful scenery. After reading some of the previous reviews, i was feeling a little apprehensive about our stay. There was absolutely no need! The Treehouse was a perfect little getaway for us and met all of our needs perfectly.

  • "Slip and trip hazard is the best way to describe this place."

The slabs that meet the stairs are not embedded into the ground and one is cracked, then we have the stairs that are pretty steep. Once you reach the top you have to slide over the decking to unlock the door, you may think not so bad. Well try doing this at 9:30 at night and all you have are a few solar lights along your path, you can't see your feet on the steps until you get a 3rd of the way up and a flash light comes on the rest of the way up but does not reach the top for the slippery decking, so here you have 4 small fairy lights to help you see getting across the decking to the door and to try and open it. How someone didn't fall and hurt themselves at this place i don't know. The property itself is to small to accommodate 4 people and should only sleep 2.

  • "We had a lovely time at Treehouse."

It was clean and well maintained. Lovely peaceful setting & everything was as advertised. Stayed for 3 nights over Easter weekend, would love to see what it's like when all the leaves are back on the trees etc. but the views were lovely anyway. The only tiny negative was the road approaching the property is full of potholes so drive carefully!! Would happily recommend this property to anybody.

  • "The Tree House was a lovely quirky holiday."

The only things that would have made it even better would have been a place to sit in a dry area as the balcony was always wet. Also the bedding seemed old and the pillows were very flat. This certainly would not put us off. Our kids loved it and it was a lovely peaceful, bird watching haven. The sofa bed wasn't good enough for 2 really but we made it work.

  • "I’m sure when it was first built it was a lovely little hide away, but the area is in desperate need of updating."

It looks very run down and tired. Inside the cabin was comfortable but no way could 4 people stay there. Outside seating area needs some cleaning and maintenance.
