  • "Reeves-Retreat provided everything I would want from a holiday rental."

It was clean, bright, had comfortable beds, a beautiful TV and great Wi-Fi. The great thing also was that it was so near to the harbour beach, coffee shops and supermarket, all within a 10 minutes relaxing and interesting walk. Thank you to the owners for looking after us so well. Angela

  • "With such a lovely big bathroom, a shower would have been preferable over a bath."

The back door has dropped slightly making opening and closing a bit difficult. Additional cleaning supplies such as a scour and hand soap in the bathroom would have been beneficial. And a guide book with useful information and what to do with the rubbish etc would have helped. With that said, the property was immaculate and very comfortable and cosy and ideally located for all amenities.

  • "The location of cottage was perfect to explore the area, and it was a short walk down to the beaches and town."

Walking the dog every morning along the beaches and paths was an ideal start to the day. The cottage had a great garden for the dog, and the garden furniture was a nice place to relax when the sun shone. The lounge cosy for not so sunny evenings! The cottage was comfortable and made for relaxing evenings. Burry Port has several take away and eat in options (even with our dog). We never struggled with parking on the surrounding streets and the location was lovely and quiet. Communication with the owner was easy, and in fact the whole experience was easy!

  • "The property was excellent, just as described."

It was very clean and tidy upon our arrival, the owner said that they were happy to call round and sort out any problems that we had,but we didn't have any issues. The beach was 15/20 minutes walk away, it was vast and dog friendly. We found everyone who we saw and spoke to was very friendly. There were plenty of places nearby to eat that allowed dogs inside. We will definitely visit again.

Quiet location and close to the beach and shops. Only one downfall the television remote did not work properly which was very frustrating. Everything else top class.

  • "Beautiful cottage , extremely well presented and spotlessly clean ."

The only niggle was that we had one tea towel and 1 towel each , I would have had a couple of each . Didn't hinder our stay although I felt guilty having to launder them I felt it was a waste of electricity. Home from home I would recommend this cottage. It the best one I've been in .

  • "Really enjoyed our stay at Reva’s cottage, a really clean comfortable cottage."

The patio door lock perhaps needs a bit of oil, and the bath plug - I worked out to use a simple butter knife to flip it out as suction prevents it popping out to drain off. Little things that weren’t a problem really. A bit more info about parking options would be useful. The ‘step’ into the back garden via the driveway needs a re think, But we’d go back there and also recommend to friends and family . Loved it!

  • "We had a great time staying in this lovely house."

There are beautiful dog friendly beaches and coastal walks within walking distance and also several local dog friendly cafes and pubs. We loved it and so did Dylan the dog.

  • "Had an absolutely fantastic week in this beautiful holiday home."

Was spotlessly clean when we arrived and smelled amazing. We visited the lovely local beach a few times and had some Crepes from Crazy Crepes Cafe which were delicious. House was so lovely and we had such an amazing time, we didn't want to leave! Hope to come back again!

Nothing was too much trouble, no hair dryer on arrival but after a call to owner she promptly dropped off one. Mick, Jill , Faye & Alfie

  • "The house is beautiful and very comfortable, the garden great for the dog, location to a few shops and pubs just a short walk away."

My only criticism would be the bathroom, would be better with a proper enclosed shower, but that is just my preference. Apart from that no complaints whatsoever!

  • "This is a Beautiful holiday home- contemporary, spotless & minimalistic ."

We’ve Been to Burry port on at least 8/9 occasions and this property is immaculate comfortable & peaceful . This home is in our top 2 favourites and we are hoping to return shortly . Thank you for your extremely thoughtful welcome pack & goodies - very much appreciated . I only have one thing to add which would complete perfection - a stair rail! As the stairs are quite steep ,It’s tempting to run hands along the wall for safety- I’m starting to feel old! The owner is extremely helpful & compromising and available if needed. Thank you for a lovely stay . Hope to See you very soon! Siân James Lou & Bryn ( the Welsh terrier)

Thank you so much for your lovely and honest review. I totally agree with you about hand rail on stairs, will get this done asap. Many thanks Property Owner
