  • "Very well located."

Lovely beaches within easy reach and accessible roads made driving enjoyable. The cottage was cozy especially. Cozy in the evening with the log fire burning and the hot tub was a lovely relaxing treat even in November.

  • "Fantastic property which was in a perfect location to explore - close to the coast and also to woodland walks."

We have 2 young children and the outside space was perfect for them - safe and secure. The house had all we needed; it was comfortable and cosy, the hot tub was lovely after a day of exploring. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again.

  • "A beautiful cottage with everything you could wish for."

Large kitchen/diner with loads of cupboard space. 2 lounges and 2 bathrooms. Comfy beds and a clever light on the landing which came on automatically. Outside large car parking area. The patio area was great with table and 6 chairs and a great hot tub and plenty of space. We can’t recommend this cottage enough.

Many many thanks - hoping to see you again. Haydn Property Owner

  • "This was a lovely property, very cosy and perfectly located for what we wanted to do."

You are in a rural area which is just beautiful in its surroundings and so peaceful. The house was very clean, and the host was attentive via message if there were any questions. There are a few spiders and flies in the area which can sometimes creep into the house (as with any house) so it did make us jump a couple of times so if you have a spider catcher that would be super helpful and also not harming them to put them back outside. Just a small point on the shower in the en suite which was filling up so we had to shower quickly/use the main shower between the 5 of us. Aside from that, really lovely property and there was a sweet welcome package set up for us too. Thank you for a lovely stay!

  • "We enjoyed a perfect week."

The location was ideal for touring the area. The cottage was exactly as described. and the hot tub was great! A good size with plenty of jets. There have been previous comments about the fridge, please note: this has been replaced with a generous sized fridge/freezer.

  • "Spotlessly clean with everything you would need for a short stay."

Hot tub was a bonus. The only negative was the fridge which had a small icebox which couldn’t be used as the door wouldn’t stay closed. In addition when emptying the fridge we noticed that yoghurts which were on the shelf beneath the icebox were warm as was the under side of the icebox. We met the owner on arrival who was friendly and welcoming.

Many thanks - will check the fridge. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic spacious property."

Lovely garden area with the hot tub an added bonus. Travelling with 3 children we used the garden alot. My eldest daughter rates this property 10/10 and the best she has ever stayed in. My only small issue was the size of the fridge arriving with food for 5 people for 3-4 days we struggled to fit it all in. Unfortunately the fridge also did not keep things cold so we did need to bin some items. We did travel during a heat wave so may of been struggling with the heat.

  • "We love this property."

We look forward to returning in the future. Two lounges gives space for the family to spread out. Big driveway. Excellent location - very rural but easy to access the main road network. Split level garden is lovely. Excellent hot tub. Quiet location but some rural traffic. Nice to be able to light a fire in the lounge. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Well resourced. The only thing we would suggest is a larger fridge/freezer to allow a family size shop to be stored. Other than that we can find no fault with this property and we look forward to returning. Thank you.

  • "This property offered very good accommodation for our family group of 3 adults and we received very responsive help from the owner and family to resolve some minor issues."

We would like to offer feedback on two issues: (1) Our stay coincided with a week of particularly hot weather (15-22 July) but the fridge struggled to maintain a cool temperature so that milk & some food had to be thrown away; the freezer compartment was woefully inadequate. May we suggest that a cottage of this quality with capacity for 5 adults needs a fridge-freezer unit in the kitchen? (2) We were unable to use shelves in kitchen cupboards without first undertaking a complete clean. Unfortunately we were unable to locate a guest book for leaving comments

Many thanks for the comments. We are conflicted with changing the fridge as the amount of food waste will then likely increase as guests often over purchase food for the week. We then have to recycle large amounts of food - much of it still in the packaging. There is a feedback book in the guest box. Many thanks for the feedback. Haydn Property Owner

  • "This cottage is just as described."

It's cosy, has lots of space and was just perfect for our Christmas getaway. There was a Christmas tree and decorations that made it a perfect home away from home. The log fire place also added that touch of cosiness. The beds were comfortable, the duvets and pillows were all very comfy and warm too. The kitchen and dining area was so spacious, even with us all getting things ready for our Christmas dinner. The garden setting and hot tub were such bonus. It was great being able to just relax, with music on and in such an isolated area. We didn't go out and about much, but that wasn't the purpose for our getaway. We literally just wanted to chill and have fun with the family. We would love to go back and will definitely be recommending this property.

  • "This is the first time we, as a family, have ever booked a cottage type break away - it won't be the last."

This is a delightful cottage and far exceeded the expectations from the already wonderful pictures you see here. It is spacious with 2 sitting rooms. The main sitting room has a log burner with everything provided to get it going. I've no idea how to use one, but I gave it a go and had a nice fire going. Has a TV with all the usual channels and iplayer etc. The other sitting room is equally as nice but you may need your own firestick there if you want to watch the television. But we didn't do much telly watching - so only briefly looked. Kitchen diner is massive! All you need to cook is here. Very good quality throughout. Ensuite main bedroom. Make sure you pull the blind down (You'll see!). Bed is extremely comfy. The children reported the same from there room too! Now, the cottage is on a main road, so there is a bit of traffic noise - but to be honest its not really an issue. The boiler clicks a bit in the main bedroom when the heating comes on but again you're being uber picky if this is an issue. The outside is just lovely. You can spend hours in the hot tub, listening to tunes if you want, or the blissful sound of absolute calm. It is really secluded too so no one can see round the back. There is a lovely little welcome back - and a folder with all you need to know about the cottage and the area. A brilliant touch. As it says, everything is a bit of a drive away, but an ideal base for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Our only regret is not being able to stay a bit longer. Out two asked when we were going back. I said I didn't know - but we will be going back to this beautifully presented cottage.

The garden is amazing! Spent a lot of time in the hot tub watching the bees and butterflies visiting the lovely flowers. The house is well laid out and very comfortable. Note- you do have to get in the car to go anywhere but if you just want to chill or use it as a base to access Pembrokeshire it’s ideal. Plenty of off road parking but as on a country lane did get some farm traffic passing early morning. The host was contactable and responsive to questions. The welcome pack was a lovely touch.
