"Great lodge ."
..couldn't really fault a thing! Maybe just a king size bed but my partner is 6ft3! Had everything we needed for a couple and an active cockerpoo! Lovely views over the sea. Really quiet location even though really near the New Inn pub......Amroth has a lovely promenade ...like going back in time! Can't fault x

"One of the best stays we've ever had."
Parking, pub/restaurant next door and beach 2mins away
-
"Lovely property lovely location great for dogs."
Only thing I would recommend fencing the top of the steps and putting an outside tap to wash the dog down when you come back from the beach we bought a bucket so he was clean going back into the property many thanks for a lovely holiday would definitely come back
Thank you for the feedback. We'll take a look at adding an outside tap. Property Owner

"We loved the property, nice and quiet yet just a stones throw from the beach and pub."
The property was nice and clean and the welcome packs for both humans , and the pooch were a lovely touch! We had to contact the owner at one point and she was quick to reply. Would love to return but we have just got a 2nd dog and I understand they only allow 1
Thank you for the lovely feedback and we hope to see you again soon. FYI we will consider taking a second dog but ask you check with Sykes first. Property Owner

"We had a lovely short stay and will return again."
We loved being so close to the beach with our dog and walking down the stairs to get to the pub!
-
"Only slight disappointment no broadband."
Excellent television though. Overall absolutely perfect

Good views. Very clean. Would definitely stay there again if holidaying in that area again.

"A lovely location and a cosy cottage with a great view of the sea."
Leanne and Paul are lovely hosts and ready to answer any questions. The cottage is very clean and cosy for those wet afternoons.

"Our stay at the Caban Y Mor was amazing!"
! It was just as described on the website. We were a little concerned about the metal stairs leading up to the property as we'd read previous reviews but it wasn't a problem at all for our 1 year old puppy. The tread on the stairs had rubber matting which helped greatly. The patio was a little smaller than expected but with the beach across the road there was plenty of room for us all. There was everything that we needed and the owners had also provided an information pack which we found helpful. If you don't fancy cooking or eating at one of the dog friendly local pubs/cafe the Seven Spice Indian in Kilgetty deliver!!! We can't wait to return.....until next time

"We loved our stay at Caban Y Mor."
It was a lovely cabin and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and perfect. Its location was ideal for our daily walks and equidistant to two local restaurants that served wonderful wholesome meals. It is up some steps so would be difficult for young baby or disabilities. Otherwise A great place to stay for couple or small family.
-
"Very nice cabin clean everything that you could require was there."
Only criticism I have is that I think the bedrooms would benefit from solid flooring as dogs are allowed and we could definitely smell that dogs had been on the bedroom carpets. I’m sure that hard flooring would be more easy to maintain . As not all people that stay are dog lovers.
-
"Fabulous property everything there that you needed and spotlessly clean."
Being able to look through the patio door and see the sea was just gorgeous. Would definitely recommend and we would visit again. Having the pub that serves lovely food next door is an added bonus. Could not fault anything not even the weather.

"Only niggle we had was the new in car park gets very busy at weekends and on Sunday when we returned to holiday let somebody had parked in the reserved spot for us fortunately I found the person responsible and he apologised and moved his vehicle I pointed the sign out to him it was all very amicable but a I feel a larger sign might make it more obvious but apart from this we had wonderful holiday and would return in the future."

"Wonderful welcome pack."
Beautiful apartment with a fabulous view. The pub next door is fantastic, great food, varied menu with specials. A lovely relaxing stay, we can't wait to return.
-
"The apartment was lovely, very comfortable."
We had a great time and would like to go back there in the future
-
"This is our second stay here."
and it will not be our last very comfy and clean nice welcome pack. which went down a treat
-
"Very clean, spacious and comfortable cabin."
Great location for the seafront and pub
-
"A very pleasant stay despite having some bad weather."
The sea views are wonderful. We have booked to come again! The addition of hooks on the back of doors & oven proof dishes would further enhance the facilities. Not being familiar with Induction hubs & Smart TVs we felt the provision of instruction booklets would be helpful.
-
"A lovely stay had a problem with the mattress on the first night, contacted the owner next day and the problem was solved straight away, brand new mattress."
As previous feedback on here they really could do with hooks especially in the bathroom, there is nowhere to leave your towels. Definitely would be back the views were lovely, plus a lovely welcome pack on arrival.
-
"Lovely lodge, nice decor, fully equipped with everything you could want during your stay."
Only downside for us is that the metal staircase is not dog friendly. Having read the reviews I felt our dog would not have an issue as she darts up the stairs so quickly but the holes caused her issues from the start even though her nails are short. Sadly we will not return for this reason as my husband had to carry her up and down, she is a husky so it was a pain.
-
"Stunning location of property, stairs to property not pet friendly but that is our view."
Mattress in main bedroom was the most uncomfortable and cheapest you could buy.No hooks to hang wet coats,no Wi-Fi or phone signal on EE or O2.Cut our holiday short as our backs could not take anymore of the bed
-
"Lovely very clean first floor cabin, well equipped with sea views."
Like the fact that there are smart TVs in the two bedrooms also . The patio is a bonus, secure for taking a dog and it was nice to sit out on the patio furniture and see the sea. Property is situated by a pub but very peaceful. We would definitely book this property again.
-
"The location of the cottage was perfect."
It is next to the beach at the end of the village. It is next to the owners pub. They are very friendly and I can highly recommend the pub with its great beer, food and large outdoor seating area. Ideal for long walks on the beach. The cottage is well decorated and clean. All the facilities you need for a short break. Fabulous
-
"Wonderful place."
spotless everything is matching. well thought off pictures do not show the patio outside which is a bonus. our dog loved sunbathing on it well secured and table and chairs to eat and drink outside will return next year
-
"We had a great time - The children bedroom was ideal (ours are 6 and 8) and the kitchen utensils were new and fully stocked."
Being winter we had the heating on, this worked well however some of the radiators need bleeding. This did not effect our stay, great to be so close to main roads - we had a trouble free trip back to Surrey.
-
"Lovely cabin in exceptionally beautiful location."
Cannot fault it in any way!
-
"What a great cabin, with stunning views over the bay, very comfortable and so quiet."
Excellent food in the adjacent New Inn where the staff were also very friendly/ Thank You.
-
"I hate doing reviews on places like this, as the review will attract more bookings leaving less availability for me during the year."
This place was perfect. From the accommodation to the place itself. Mornings spent walking onto the patio and drinking in the view. Very peaceful at night despite being located very close to a pub. The pub was also an asset, serving a good range of food which meant we didn’t cook much. A car is very much needed to explore areas around Amroth, but there are plenty of places to visit. We will definitely be returning to Caban Y Mor I just hope the place is available the next time we want to go, but you just know this is going to be a very popular place in the future as word gets out.
-
"Excellent accommodation in a great location."
-
"This was a beautiful property with comfortable fittings, everything we needed in a beautiful location."
The internet connection however, is unreliable.
-
"The Cabin was beautiful and clean and all new!"
The location was amazing! Looking out to sea and a pub next door that serves great home cooked food! Perfect for our little dog too as she was totally secure on the patio. Can’t wait to go back!
-
"Fantastic lovely Caban."
Lovely welcome basket and milk. Great location eight in the beach and 10% off in the pub next door. Easy to access lots of different walks and close to Tenby, Saunders foot and Weismann bridge. Great foe dogs as well. Will be back.
-
"It was a great property ."
Wonderful location with view of the beach and clean and immaculate property with tv in each room. May be few board games and If it had hooks for jackets and coats and hooks on each door for towels along with a soap dish in the shower area that will be even far superior.
