We hope to visit again in the future and would definitely recommend the cottages to our friends and family.

.. the hayloft was perfect for us and our little dog (who immediately decided the well fenced garden belonged to her!) There was everything we could need to hand in the cottage and it had a lovely cosy feel. Friendly hosts - amazing scenery - handy for the coast - lovely local walks (some steep hills, fairly short though and good exercise!) - a lovely relaxing place to re-charge the batteries and enjoy some peace and quiet. If an opportunity arises we will return. A great stay, thank you.

Our dog Pedro absolutely loved playing in the woods, his tail hardly stopped wagging from the moment we arrived. The property was so well thought out, with a fully enclosed garden (properly enclosed even for a big dog), and dog water bowl, holiday tag and treats. The welcome basket was a lovely touch too and Dave and Sam could not have been more welcoming. The hayloft is the smaller of the 3 cottages available, but cosy, clean and perfectly equipped. We will definitely be back for another stay!

  • "Stayed for a week in the Hayloft."

On arrival was blown away with the views from the property as it’s set in a beautiful, quiet location with views of the welsh landscape. The owners of the property were really welcoming, helpful and friendly and made the stay very comfortable. There was a lovely basket with cheese, jams and welsh cakes on arrival as well as milk and bread which was really appreciated to help get us settled in after a long journey. Not important to everyone, but I thought the fact that we had extra towels in the bathroom not just the regular hand and bath towel you normally get were a nice touch too. The property is well thought out, clean and comfortable. Added bonus is the property has a games room, a small children’s play area and a maze made of maze. We used the games room and the maze which were fun to use on an afternoon/evening. The location of the property is perfect for those who want a quiet, peaceful location with beautiful countryside views which is close enough to amenities - local shop is a short walk away; pubs, the beach, coastal walks (which are stunning!!) are approx 10-30 minute drive depending on which part of the coast you choose to visit. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

A lot of thought had gone into equipping the accommodation to make the stay as comfortable as possible - even a drying room for wet clothing and boots. The owners were friendly and approachable but also left us to enjoy our stay. We had our own fenced garden with thoughtfully placed table and chairs to catch the sun and admire the amazing view. The welcome pack was lovely - locally produced cheese and jams as well as essentials such as bread, milk, eggs, tea and Welsh teacakes. They also left a map with walks from the house around the farm and to the waterfall and pub. We have used Sykes Cottages before and found the booking process easy and trouble free with all information sent out in good time with clear directions to the property. I would definitely book with Sykes again.

The Hayloft is very well equipped, including a full range of cooking equipment. It was spotless and clearly a great deal of care had been put into creating a very high standard holiday cottage. The views from the garden and immediate surrounds are spectacular and very peaceful. Our favourite local pub was the Nags Head, which is about 3 miles away. The garden was fully enclosed for our dog and they even provide a tempoary dog disc with the property details incase of mishap - a very thoughtful idea. There was a great welcome pack to get us going, including doggie treats. Cardigan is about 15 mintes away, and Tenby and St Davids are within 1 hour. There are also 2 great cheese producers nearby. We would thoroughly recommend Sam, Dave and The Hayloft for a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing holiday.
