  • "We found everything as previously advised."

Location was great ,only 5 mins to Cardigan and easy access to many locations(beaches etc). despite the weather we were able to get out each day. It was a great place to stay.Oh the local pub does pretty good meals. Charles from Bristol

So happy that you had a good time, thanks for your positive review. will also send your compliments to the Penybryn Arms. Property Owner

  • "We have just returned from this lovely bungalow."

It was an ideal place to relax, very comfortable and clean with almost everything needed close at hand including a well equipped kitchen. Cardigan is very close by and enjoyed exploring Cilgarran around the Castle and along the river. Easily visited Aberporth, Mwnt and long coastal walks around the lovely town of Newport. Weather wasn’t great every day and both of us recovering from illness so it was great to have some ‘lazy’ time as well in such comfortable accommodation. Would highly recommend Glynderi and its surrounding area.

Thank you for a lovely review. I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay and that you explored this beautiful part of Wales. Property Owner

  • "We had good staying and the environment is wonderful."

We prefer stronger lighting so a higher luminance of lights will be better. All the cleaning of bathroom can be upgraded to higher level will make the staying perfect

Thank you for your comments, I'm surprised as I normally have high ratings for the cleanliness throughout. I was sorry to see that you did not follow the recycling instructions I had left for you. we discovered that you had put everything including food waste in one bin. We have a strict recycling regime here in Pembrokeshire that needs to be adhered to. Property Owner

  • "Lovely spacious bungalow, well equipped."

The garden was big enough for us and the dog who loved sniffing about. Very small village but the local pub served good food and very friendly couple who ran it. Customers were also very friendly. A great coffee shop in the next village about half a mile away. Would highly recommend this property.

Thank you for your lovely review. So happy you enjoyed your stay. Hope you visit again sometime . Property Owner

The post office shop in Cilgerran has everything you need and the Pen-y-Bryn Arms is great for food and a warm welcome and is 500metres away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Very happy that you enjoyed Glynderi, I will pass on your compliments to Penybryn Arms and our friendly local shop. We'd love to welcome you back anytime. Thank you Property Owner

The kitchen was very well equipped for self-catering and there was a very pleasant garden (investigated and enjoyed by our dog, though the weather wasn't up to us sitting out!).

  • "We loved the property and garden."

It was lovely seeing all the different birds, wrens nesting in one of the birdboxes. My only issue really was the front bedrooms bed, every time I moved it sceached and I found the mattress too hard, but that is probably a preference. Thank you.

Glad you loved the property and garden and yes the birds are a bonus. re mattress, I think you are right that it is preference. thank you Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our week staying in Glynderi."

The bungalow was very spacious, clean, comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The garden is large and private, lots of space for a dog to chase a ball or small children to play, and as we were so lucky with the weather we were able to eat all our meals outside, and enjoy the evening sun. Our one and only concern was that the garden is bordered by a dense hedge and fencing, but not enclosed as described. The path at the side of the property has no gate, therefore an adventurous dog (like our schnoodle), or small child could easily ‘escape’ to the front of the bungalow, and then to the road! We did manage to block the path with pots etc from the garden for our stay, but a small side gate would make the garden secure. Having said that, Glynderi provides perfect accommodation with easy access to beaches, historical sites, and some lovely woodland walks in this beautiful part of Wales. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Thank you for your positive feedback. Happy that you enjoyed your stay at Glynderi and surrounding area. I have taken your comments re side gate, this will be fitted before the next season. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "Really enjoyed our time at Glynderi."

It was really easy to find, instructions were perfect and we soon made ourselves at home. The living room was huge and had a lovely feel to it, a really well equipped kitchen that has every appliance you will ever need, that was perfect for breakfasts and family evening meals. Really good bathroom but could be more disabled friendly especially as it’s such a lovely bungalow. We loved the garden, a good size and well looked after, unfortunately it wasn’t fully enclosed as our dog got out a couple of times when the neighbourhood cat paid a visit, it really needs a small gate at the side. The area was very quiet and just a really restful place to visit, Cardigan bay is really close by and so easy to get to.. less than 10 minutes on one of the days, For our dog, we went to Poppit sands for its beach adventures and it was so easy to get to from here, Overall.. we really enjoyed our stay.. and would love to stay again if we go down this way again. Keep up the good work.

Glad you enjoyed your stay at Glynderi and that you discovered the surrounding area. The gate will be in place for the next season. Thank you for your lovely comments. Property Owner

  • "I feel so pleased, (an lucky), that we chose to stay at Glynderi."

This is a real home, a spacious, wonderfully equipped and comfortable bungalow, with a lovely garden with open countryside beyond. This was amazing accommodation for 4 adults, my husband and I, plus daughter, son in law and their dog. I know the area extremely well having been visiting here for the last 60 years, and there is so much to do, beaches, hills, river, countryside as well as the town of Cardigan being within 2-3 miles. We dined at home each evening with ease as the large kitchen is very well equipped, and having a dishwasher was a real treat too. I can't praise Glynderi enough, suffice it to say, I loved everything about it and it would be the home of my dreams.

I am so pleased that your stay at Glynderi was an enjoyable one. Your comments were heartwarming, thank you for that. We hope you return before long. Property Owner

  • "We stayed at Glynderi for a week in early June '23."

This was our first time staying in this part of Pembrokeshire. On arrival, the property was spotlessly clean and tidy. Internally, it is spacious and is well equipped with everything we could want. The decor throughout is bright and sea-sidey and very much in-keeping with the area. The bed (front room) was very comfortable; the bathroom has been modernised and is clean and attractive. The lounge area and dining room were perfectly presentable and comfortable and, again, both spacious. The kitchen had good space with every appliance and piece of equipment we could want. Again, spotlessly clean and a credit to the owners. Perhaps, in due course, thought could be given to updating some of the kitchen equipment and facilities, but nonetheless, we found everything to our satisfaction. The off-kitchen utility area and separate WC is a great asset to the property with good provision for recycling waste materials - a great example for others to follow! Externally, the back garden is a fabulous place to relax and enjoy a meal. Being south facing and with no tall buildings or trees in the way, the garden enjoys the sun all day. We were very fortunate to have great weather all week, so all meals bar one that we had in Glynderi were eaten outside. It is a quiet area, neighbours were friendly, and it is within easy walk of three pubs. The most local pub, being the Pen-y-bryn Arms was excellent. A nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good beer and great food at a reasonable price. Well done to them. There's plenty to do and see locally: in Cilgerran; at the Nature Reserve and further afield in both coastal and inland areas. We were not stuck for somewhere to visit. All together a really good holiday for us and the accommodation at Gynderi was excellent. We would gladly return there. Our thanks to the owners for their contribution to making our holiday an enjoyable and memorable one.

  • "The property is very spacious, clean and well fitted out with a large mainly lawned private garden at the rear."

It is in a quiet location but has good access around this part of Pembrokeshire. The only "even better if" comment we would make is that a couple more saucepans, and some more kitchen knives/cutlery would be helpful, especially if there are 4 people staying and intending to self-cater. All in all it is good place to stay.

Thank you for your comments. Glad you enjoyed Glynderi and Pembrokeshire. I will be adding to the saucepans and cutlery before the next let. Thanks again. Property Owner
