  • "We had a fantastic, peaceful getaway."

The property was perfectly accessible for our wheelchair user daughter. The owners were very friendly and informative about the area and we enjoyed them teaching us bits of Welsh. The property I'd located in a very quiet and peaceful area and provides enough

  • "Cooker and other appliance needed a clean."

Quite a few light were out and needed replacing. Some chipped glasses, which we threw away and replaced as a gesture as we broke one. We informed Mr. Evans. Within Sykes's format on dogs attending, you are very good at pricing across all properties, I couldn't understand why Mr. & Mrs. Evans charge £175 for one dog. we had no choice in paying, because of working commitments from our family, as they couldn't get any other time off. This pricing for us was more than an adult per person. Sorry to say if the pricing isn't amended fairly, we wouldn't be visiting again as the cost would be too high.

  • "Wonderful hosts who are so caring."

Very good facilities for disabled, for which I was very grateful. Property has been very well converted from farm buildings. In a beautiful area - although we were unable to explore it as much as we would have liked due to the atrocious weather in the week we chose! We loved seeing the new born calves and piglets. Huge thanks to Christine, Teify and Rhys. They were the best and most attentive hosts we’ve met on any holiday.

  • "We had lovely week in this cottage on the farm."

Mr and Mrs Evans are so friendly and helpful, we enjoyed meeting their baby calves on farm. We had eveything we needed for our group, which included good wheelchair access around ground floor, also 2 ground floor bedrooms and wet room -fantastic. Lots of great places and beaches to visit, quite steep in places, lovely scenery. Would recommend to others, and love to come again. Our group consisted of myself in wheelchair, 3 sons and their partners, one baby and one big dog. great for all of us!

  • "The accommodation was superb."

Everything needed in the kitchen utensil wide was supplied, including washing machine, Tumble drier iron etc. The hosts Mr and Mrs Evans were very friendly and took the time to tell us of places of interest to visit and where to go for evening meals out. Would highly recommend this location (there are 4 letting cottages on a working farm) to anyone.

  • "We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived."

The house was fantastic and is positioned close to lots of interesting places to visit. We had a look around the adjoining property and it would be fantastic to rent both if there was a big group. The downstairs bedrooms and wet room meant it was truly accessible for wheelchair users. Our daughter loved visiting the piglets and new calf that were born during our stay. We had an Asda grocery delivery which made life easy, but there are a few convenience stores in the local town. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby too (The Daffodil, La Calabria, Riverside cafe, The Bunch of Grapes, Pachamama [for Asian takeaway] and Nahar Indian). You definitely need to be prepared to drive to places though as there is nothing within walking distance, as the farm is in a beautiful rural setting. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

It is spacious, luxurious, very well equipped and very easy to live in. There was plenty of attention paid to the issues surrounding Covid and it feels very safe. The hosts were attentive and eager to meet any extra needs we had. There plenty of gorgeous beaches within easy drive. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

Our stay was over christmas and it was a nice touch to have a xmas tree in our cottage as well as outside the property. Being on a farm it was nice to have a wander over to see the recently born calves and we were invited to have a tour around the farm but unfortunately time went so quickly we didn't manage it. Certainly a nice place to stay whatever the time of year :)

  • "This barn conversion was carried out to an extremely high standard and the facilities on the ground floor for my disabled sister were outstanding with a wet room capable of accommodating a wheel chair if necessary."

The hosts were very caring and friendly and available if any problems should arise. On a general note I would appreciate it if Sykes would add a filter to their search engine which would allow request for disabled facilities to be filtered as this little gem took some finding and this has been the case with other properties we have hired through Sykes.

  • "The cottage on a working farm is really lovely, with en-suite in every bedroom, and a ground floor wet room for disabled access, which assisted my disabled grandson who is a wheelchair user and my grand daughter who has mobility problems."

It is very clean and has a big kitchen, a utility cupboard with washing machine and dryer,TV's in all 4 bedrooms and lounge area and a table that seats 8 people. There's plenty of space for your clothes etc. Teifi, (Mr Evans), was kind enough to take us and our 4 grandchildren to see their cows and calves. Apparently, they don't keep pigs any more. The cottage is a good base to see sights, beach, Adventure etc. However, the weather was terrible for 3 days out of 7 days. We had to buy the children some indoor activities such as colouring books, puzzles, games and DVD's; it did state that there was games, CD's etc available and an enclosed patio, but there was none of these items, except for scrabble. We enjoyed our holiday, and a huge thank you to the owners, Mr & Mrs T Evans-:)
