  • "Regarding the property in our opinion it’s a 7 out of 5."

Immaculately kept and in a private location with great views from the patio. Geraint was an excellent host very friendly and extremely helpful as were some of the others working on the farm who we met while we were out walking including Moc the dog. We highly recommend this property the photos don’t do the scale of rooms and the quality of the fixtures justice.

  • "This property is probably the best we have stayed at with Sykes Cottages."

Top class furnishings, beautiful landscaping and views and very friendly, helpful owners, Geraint and Ann. Lots of room in the cottage and a luxurious stay was had making the bad weather of September just an inconvenience. Top marks from us and highly recommended.

  • "This cottage is AWESOME!"

In a peaceful setting with beautiful views of the mountain and the farmhouse gardens and within easy reach of things to see and do, such as the Brecon railway and the Dragonfly canal cruise. The cottage itself has been decorated and furnished to the highest standard with a high spec kitchen. The whole property oozes quality. This is not a 5 star rated property - it is much, much more. The owners, Geraint and Ann were friendly and approachable and the milk, welsh butter and welsh cakes provided were very welcome (the welsh cakes were delicious). Not forgetting Moc the sheepdog who is just a lovely, gentle dog. We would love to return in the future. Highly recommended.

Defintely worth the price, even more so. The hosts are welcoming, accommodating, considerate and kind and the area is one to visit over and over again.

  • "This is the best property we have stayed in."

The fixtures and fittings are absolute top quality, so clean and fresh we felt as if we were the first guests ever to stay at the cottage. The location is beautiful and peaceful as well as very handy for sightseeing. To cap it it all the owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a true treasure amongst Sykes' portfolio and we think would be excellent value even at twice the price.

  • "This property is absolutely amazing and above our expectations."

It is a 7 star out of 5 stars. Super comfortable bed and the linens were top notch. The property was immaculate. The bathroom was like a spa especially with its fluffly fluffly towels. The kitchen was fully stocked with very high end appliances, cookware and dishes. We wanted for nothing. The location was perfect for us to explore Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park and surrounding area. We loved having a deck to sit on and view the beautiful gardens, the creek and the sheep.
