  • "We loved the convenience of Bryngwyn's location and the living space was extremely comfy and cosy."

A couple of points; The bathroom needs an update as the bath panel is coming away and there is black mould in one corner and toadstools growing up the hinged area of the shower screen. (I did take a photo of this.) Despite many reviews mentioning the lack of a bathmat, this was still missing, but we brought our own. The details and then the information folder in the apartment, both stated that towels were included in the rent, so I did not bring any, however, none were found in the apartment. When I removed the pillow cases and protectors at the end of our stay, one pillow had a worrying stain on it. Finally, the back door was nearly impossible to close and lock and we were worried that we would have to slam the door, too hard. My husband spent some time trying to fix the door seal, which was loose. These issues didn't ruin our stay, but I do feel that they need addressing.

  • "A really well appointed ground floor apartment, in a quiet and peaceful location with beautiful views from the garden which we would have enjoyed in warmer weather."

We found it an excellent location for exploring the coast and local towns.

  • "Very nice place to stay."

Could have done with more tea towels and basics such as sugar and salt. The edges of the master bedroom bed are particularly sharp and caught our knees a couple of times especially in the middle of the night. Other than that the home was very clean and very comfortable and we’ll be returning again.

  • "The property itself was pleasant clean and well maintained."

Unfortunately we were not informed of the renovations taking place in the apartment next door. We chose this apartment due its quiet location we were unable to enjoy this as the apartment is on the ground floor and the builders van needed to be parked outside our bedroom window. On our first day the water was switched off without warning. after speaking to the builder we found that they had needed to switch off the water supply. They did apologise but we were without water for a few hours.

  • "Nice flat, with good views!"

Clean & comfortable. However, shops & grocery stores are a bit of a drive away.

  • "Very comfortable, well appointed and clean ground floor flat in beautiful peaceful location."

Excellent parking facilities and the beach is a short drive away. Gorgeous views over the bay. It’s a perfect location if you want peace and quiet with beautiful scenery. A bath mat in the shower would be helpful as very slippy under foot as well as a bath floor mat. Would have liked more information on things to do in the local area. Missed having a visitors book. Overall great property, we would highly recommend.

  • "This apartment is modern, comfortable , fully equipped and was spotlessly clean when we arrived."

We loved the location especially the wonderful views from the garden - so peaceful. It was an easy drive into Solva and St David’s . We really enjoyed exploring this area of Wales and the fantastic weather was a real bonus.

  • "Bigger and nicer than pictures on website show !"

We also had to use a towel as no mat in the bathroom and the floor was very cold. The tea, coffee & sugar canisters were empty, and no salt & pepper, etc or foil/clingfilm. Very unusual not to have a visitors book, or any local walks info/leaflets.

  • "Hi there, Just a couple of things to note:- 1) The twin room was very small for 2 people, with the drawers not really accessible to use, and there was nowhere to hang clothes except the wardrobe in the other room."

I suspect that you have had this comment many times and I appreciate that the photos reflect this. 2) There was no bathmat provided and we had to use one of the handtowels as a substitute. Other than these two points we enjoyed our week at Bryngwyn and felt very happy with all the home comforts provided. Lovely warm cottage with all mod cons.

  • "A lovely clean house perfect for a quiet break."

Solva and Porthgain closeby and stunning. (We arrived at 430 and the house hadn't been cleaned. The customer service team arranged for beds and cleaning to take place promptly and we went out for a few hours. Everything was great after that. For consideration - duvets are winter weight and too warm for the summer so maybe have lighter weight with blankets available for the summer months).

  • "The accommodation was of an exceptionally high standard."

It had everything we needed and was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We hadn't visited this area before and Bryngwyn is very well situated for the beautiful coastline and the city of St Davids and is also not far from a wide sandy beach. The large garden would be perfect for children to play in. We would thoroughly recommend this rental property and would like to come back for a longer stay ourselves.

What's not to love! We will be back! Absolutely beautiful area, beautiful beaches and secluded coves around every corner. Highly recommend. :-)

  • "It might be worth stating that the property is in a huge field, as this might appeal to families with children."

We felt that the twin bedroom would be pretty small for two adults, with hardly any space between the beds and no wardrobe or any easily accessed drawers. It would be more suited to two children, and especially awkward for two couples, as there is such a big difference between the two bedrooms. In every other way we were happy with the accommodation, and loved the views, the peace and wildlife of the surroundings.
