"We loved Morlan cottage as much as we love Newport."
It was beautiful, clean, spacious and WOW the views. We loved the cosy living room and of course the downstairs bedroom. Even though you are near a main road we couldn’t hardly hear the noise. We loved the walks down to Newport which were not that far at all. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Thank you ❤️

"Morlan was the best cottage we had for a few years."
Location, weather, comfortable accommodation. Good food locally. Beautiful views. An absolutely fabulous holiday. The owners deserve an award!!

"I find myself in the rare position of not being able to find a single fault with a property."
Virtually every aspect of the stay was perfect.

Our second visit to Morlan cottage and just as comfortable as the first Warm and nicely decorated for Christmas thank you Good places to eat in Newport a short walk or drive away and super walks from the door One small comment, there is no shaver point so if you have an electric shaver or toothbrush you will need to bring an adapter

"The kitchen is the main feature room of the property."
Mostly occupied with seating area, dining table, fantastic views through patio doors. If a TV was on the wall it would have been complete. (Not a complaint just a suggestion)

"A very well presented cottage in a fabulous location, great walks from the door, friendly locals and good places to eat within walking distance The cottage is on a main road and while there is some noise during the day it was quiet overnight."
Fantastic views and we did not use the car all week. The kitchen/ day room was very useful but would have been nice to have a tv in there just to really finish it off We had a slight issue with the back door lock which was tricky to lock from the outside and a couple of bits of crockery had not been washed properly but overall property was very clean, warm and well equipped

"We had a wonderful time but the walk to Parrog beach is down a busier and narrower road than we were anticipating-which was tricky at times with three young children."
Once there it was well worth the trip! The cottage is beautiful and extremely comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

"Lovely spot with walks to Newport and the local beaches and up to Mynydd Carlingli."
Really beautifully refurbished and decorated. Even some of the furniture was made from old roof beams in the cottage. Highly recommended.
