Boasting heaps of character with exposed beams, original stone and woodburning stove as well as three well-appointed bedrooms, you’re sure to make unforgettable memories at New England.

Begin your staycation by choosing one of the three off-road parking spots then enter the house where a fully-equipped kitchen awaits.

Here you can cook up a storm for the ones you love most and then tuck into this delectable meal around the table in the living/dining room where you can plan your adventures for the days ahead before unwinding in front of the comforting glow of the woodburning stove and Smart TV.

When the sun shines, why not enjoy a tipple in the conservatory with views across the large garden, a great place for your pampered pooch to burn off some of their energy?

When the evening draws to a close, wash off the day in either the ground-floor bathroom or shower room before heading upstairs where a double and Queen double bedroom await, one equipped with handy en-suite cloakroom.

There is also an additional single bedroom on the ground floor which can allow a seventh member of the family to join the group.

Another large double bedroom is sited in the separate annexe of the property and is serviced by an en-suite shower room, an idyllic space for guests who prefer their privacy.

In the morning, hop in the car for a short drive to Newport where you can stock up on your staycation essentials at local shops or enjoy a night off from cooking at The Castle Inn or at The Golden Lion.

The town is also home to the wonderful Newport Sands Beach where you can bask in the sea air or enjoy a refreshing dog walk on the coast.

Alternatively, venture further afield to Cardigan where you can take in a High St full of independent retail options and its castle which witnessed the first ever Eisteddfod in 1176.

Then head to Cilgerran to visit the Welsh Wildlife Centre and spend time at the impressive cliff-top ruins of Cilgerran Castle.

The Wales Coast Path is also within reach of New England, offering countless miles of walking trails through beautiful seaside towns and villages including Fishguard, Goodwick and Aberporth.

But more than anything else, make the most of your idyllic location with a visit to the iconic Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber and climb up high into the Preseli Hills up Carningli, which is on your doorstep, for wonderful views of Cardigan Bay.
