The property
Bayview Cottage, originally built in the 1860s is a traditional rustic cottage situated on the Gower National Landscape in the quiet village of Llangennith, with easy access to both Rhosilli Bay and Broughton beach Gower.

Upon entering the property you will immediately proceed to the front hallway where you can appreciate the traditional solid stone structure of the building.
This leads to the kitchen, the heart of the home which is the well-equipped, perfect for whipping up delicious meals, with a handy utility room housing a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The dining\breakfast area, with seating for eight guests is the ideal spot for enjoying meals together.
Relax in the large inviting sitting room, where a woodburning stove and TV are set against solid stone walls, contrasted by bright white paint, there is ample seating and views to the beach making this a wonderful space for unwinding after a day of exploration.
A new second sitting room, featuring wooden beams, high ceilings and beach views, is a light airy and contemporary space, with bi-fold doors leading out to the terrace.
After the sun sets you will be greeted by a spacious super-king-size bedroom, boasting stone brick walls and full-length windows that frame the stunning countryside views.
A further double bedroom continues the rustic charm with a cottage theme and windows that also look out onto the picturesque countryside.
The third double bedroom is perfect for couples, while the twin room, tucked in the eaves above the kitchen, is accessed via quirky metal steps, adding a touch of adventure for younger guests.

Broughton beach is 15 minutes’ walk along a country lane.
Llangennith is a few minutes further but both beaches are a mere 2 minutes in the car and dog friendly.
When conditions are favourable Llangennith is very popular for local surfers.
If you’re feeling adventurous there’s a surf shop in the village where you can arrange lessons and hire equipment.
For a truly memorable day with fantastic views and abundance of wildlife, challenge yourself to a walk over to worms head accessed from Rhossili village.
The head of the worm is accessible but only at low tide so care must me taken.
Rhossili beach is the far end of Llangennith beach and has been previously voted best beach in the UK.
Another Iconic beach with spectacular views is Three Cliffs Bay.
This is not too far to drive and can be accessed from Parkmill, Pennard or Oxwich beach.
After a busy day, why not finish by indulging in a hearty meal at nearby Kings Head Inn, a traditional Welsh pub serving locally sourced fare.
Depending on your interests there are many castles, golf courses, fantastic beaches and wonderful walks.
