  • "We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday."

It was very quiet and calm, perfect for hours spent reading in front of the fire. The bungalow came with all the facilities we could need and had lovely views. It's an easy drive to Hay-on-Wye to do some second-hand book buying, and we had a lovely meal out at the Black Swan pub in Much Dewchurch. We really enjoyed this cosy winter getaway and will visit again.

Thank you for your lovely feedback Property Owner

Sadly we lost our dog a week before our holiday but there were plenty of doggie blankets provided for pets to nuzzle into and to use of the furniture as throws if needed, as it is advertised as pet friendly. All the floor are tiled throughout. The beds were very comfortable and the whole atmosphere was super peaceful. The local area is beautiful and very scenic, even if the approach road has a few potholes.

Can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our stay, everything you need and wonderfully clean with comfortable beds. Owners are very helpful and kind, you really have a wonderful haven, thank you for our stay, we will be back, wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Herefordshire now ❤️

It’s a lovely lovely project, and being able to wander amongst the horses and feed the pigs on site was brilliant, with a paddock to let the dog off lead too. The location is a perfect base for visiting the beautiful Wye Valley, and Kay was incredibly helpful, especially after we left when we needed to get in touch - will definitely book again!!

Quiet and peaceful, sat in garden just watching the birds and the horses in the fields. Great enclosed garden for the dogs. Beds were comfy and loved the walk in shower. Remember some slippers as hard flooring so feet may get cold. Gowns were a great touch. Kay and Brian were very welcoming but did not intrude. Narrow lane but stayed 7 days and only met a couple of cars. Would recommend and may stay again in the future.

Thank you Sorry we do normally provide slippers just waiting for delivery Property Owner

Bungalow has a sparrow that always seems to be chirping from the çorner by the garage. Big fridge/freezer in the garage to use as overflow from kitchen fridge. The village shop and post office stocks practically everything, helpful and could not fault! If you like animals, horses in particular, Kay is the person to talk to. A great place to unwind.

Exactly as described and could not fault it in anyway. A big bonus was to use the empty secure paddock to let the dogs have a good run. Wonderful views with many local walks and pubs. Highly recommended!

Remarkably well supplied for a holiday let, and all rooms were clean and comfortable. And the views were truly spectacular. Would definitely rebook next time we're looking to stay in the area. Only minor niggle was that the garden was not secure for our medium-sized dog (he could crawl under the gate), but this was more than made up for by the freedom for him to run in the empty paddock nearby.
