  • "This is a very special place to stay."

Cwm Gwaun is a rural idyll of peace and natural beauty. The Vestry is so comfortable and well equipped. The perfect base to explore the wonder of Pembroke from. Coast, landscape, hidden coves and Welsh gems to explore and visit - St David's, Fishguard and Newport - all a short distance away. Pembrokeshire is our favourite place on the planet and The Vestry has it all. Thank you so much. We can't wait to be back soon and leave our footprints in the sand.

Thank you for your lovely review Emma. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Vestry again soon. Property Owner

  • "Lovely location."

Peaceful and quiet. Sycamore Vestry is comfortable, charming and well equipped, although would benefit from the addition of a hair dryer and a better mirror in the shower room…currently not conducive to contact lens wearers! Delightful to be able to open the French windows and enjoy the view sitting outside with a glass of something. Thank you.

Thank you for your review - hair dryer now in place! Quirky cottage walls in the shower room have made finding the right place for a mirror a challenge but will look in to this! Thank you for visiting the Vestry! Property Owner

  • "Very well equipped property in a delightful setting."

Some great beaches. Newport and St David’s. Could have done with an iron and a hair dryer but these are minor. Also heating system probably needs servicing. Some interesting gardens to visit nearby.

Thank you for your review and noted re: the hair dryer and iron. Heating now sorted but hopefully the sun will come back soon and not be needed! Glad you enjoyed the lovely Gwaun Valley and hope you will return Property Owner

  • "I do recommend cottage if you are looking to have relaxing and quiet week off with book in your hand and plenty of walks on your doorstep (perfect if you are bringing your dog)."

Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, garden where you can sip on your coffee and listen to the birds. Not forgetting about pub two doors down. Thoughtful owner that will check if you okay or need anything. Very helpful and pleasant neighbours. In the area... I recommend to visit family run micro brewery the Bluestone located in the same valley. Great place for coffee and small bite is Temple Bar (also family run) - cakes are fenomenal!). We would happily go back and stay again.

Thank you for your lovely feedback Aga. Glad that you had such a relaxing time - the Gwaun Valley is a wonderful place to do that. Thank you for the recommendations and we hope that you will visit again. Property Owner

  • "Could not fault this cottage, everything you could wish for and more, the kitchen is so well stocked with everything."

Beautiful area and quiet, lovely neighbours. Jess the owner messaged me a day after we started our holiday to ask if the heating was ok and if not let her know, which I did by midweek as it had got colder, straight away she replied and sorted the heating for us. Will definitely book this cottage again, just perfect for us and our dog. 5*+ as far as we’re concerned, thank you Jess.

Thank you for your lovely review Debs and thank you for leaving the Vestry so spotless! Look forward to welcoming you back again soon! Property Owner

  • "Kitchen knives need replacing as they are no longer sharp."

We found the lighting a bit low for older folk! Having somewhere to put the bikes under cover would have been useful. Overall however we found the property comfortable and clean. Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback - knives have been sharpened and new ones on order. Thank you for the comments on the lighting - glad you found the property comfortable and clean and you enjoyed the Gwaun Property Owner
