  • "There was lots of cleaning issues around the cottage, having stayed in it 2yrs ago, it is now looking very tired & needs some TLC."

Lots of cobwebs all over. The cleaning was not to the same standards as before. > Towel holder in the bathroom was broken. > Broken tile on bathroom floor. > Dirty pipes in bathroom > Quite a bit of mould in the shower > Extractor fan in shower was disgusting, covered in thick dirt & dust.

  • "The main issue is parking."

The on street parking is limited to 1 hour up until 6pm and although there is a free car park a 5 minute walk away we found it was often full. To stop and unload/load we had to block the road. The cottage was cute, clean and characterful but tiny. There is a very tight spiral staircase and space upstairs is quite cramped. We did however enjoy our stay as it is situated in a beautiful location with the canal towpaths brilliant for dog walking and we loved Abergavenny which is only a 15 minute drive away.

  • "A most comfortable little cottage just perfect for us and our dogs."

Ideally located with many walks on your doorstep. We did venture a bit farther away to undertake the four waterfalls walk - amazing! A stroll up Sugar Loaf and the magnificent views from the top. A rather more leisurely walk along the canal to the wonderfully old fashioned town of Crickhowell, a couple of beers

There was something wrong with one of the sockets Main thing was parking. The listing needs changing. It says currently parking is opposite but it’s only for one hour. We wouldn’t have rented it if we had known we had to park in the small village car park. It was free but we had to park before 5pm otherwise it was full.
