"We read on a previous review that the towels were thin and small, they still are, luckily we brought our own."
The bed linen is very dated and worn, needs replacing. This is letting down the rest of the cottage.
-
"Was unable to have my week away in this cottage due personal family issues, tried to rebook for another week next year, which company give as an option, but the owners of the cottage would not allow even though it was next year and had no bookings for choosen date."
So I lost all my payment on a holiday I didn't have. Completely not satisfied with this and advice anybody thinking of picking this place as a holiday......DON'T!! Or this company DON'T!

"The cottage was lovely and the owners friendly and welcoming but not intrusive."
We feel that the decor is tired and could do with updating, the settee sags for example. The towels are thin and small, no excuse nowadays to not have larger & fluffier towels, I’m a size 12 and couldn’t fasten them round me! 2nd bathroom not having a shower holder is inconvenient and gets water everywhere! I struggled to open windows, only my husband could open them. A larger, better TV would be good too. We enjoyed our though and enjoyed Casa Mia very much, just needs some tweaks

"Lovely cottage with stunning views over the countryside and sea, offroad parking for two cars, cottage well maintained and stocked with everything you need, one slight criticism is that the living room settee and chairs were slightly dated and uncomfortable, but apart from that the holiday was fantastic."
Thanks

"The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed."
The sea view is amazing! Thank you!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mia."
The cottage was very well equipped, extremely comfortable, and with amazing views from the living room. The cottage was originally a barn; it has been renovated and furnished with real care and thought. It was basically an excellent place to stay. The area was great for walking, with charming villages and towns nearby and also plenty of beautiful beaches. We would highly recommend Casa Mia. Thank you for the bottle of wine - my husband appreciated it.

"Stunning location in a pretty cottage."
Very comfortable overall. Hard to think of faults. I couldn't reach anything on top shelf of kitchen cupboards (I'm 5'4"). Not at all bothered by some reviewers complaints, e.g. lack of wardrobe. It all worked for us and we were very happy there.

"The property we stayed in had everything we needed and more."
Very clean and tidy when we arrived. The bottle of red wine on arrival was a nice gesture. The garden was ideal for our four legged friend. All in all ideally situated, quiet, lovely views of the coast and not far from beaches etc. We would recommend this property.

"Really enjoyed our stay in Casa Mia."
Very comfortable and clean. Well stocked kitchen with all necessary crockery and cutlery. Stunning views of the Irish Sea and Strumble Head Lighthouse. Cottage and garden very well looked after which is a credit to the current owners
-
"A lot of thought and attention to detail was noted in this holiday cottage."
The location is stunning and so peaceful. So much opportunity nearby to satisfy walkers, wildlife watchers and history enthusiasts. We were so lucky to see seals and their pups from the coastal path at Strumble Head and at Porthgain. We realise that the two bedrooms are small ,but we did miss a wardrobe-perhaps space could be found for a clothes rail ?.

Couch was different to that shown on listing and very uncomfortable, could have done with some wardrobes to hang clothes

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming cosy cottage."
Amazing, always changing views of the lighthouse and the sea. Beautiful whatever the weather. Well equipped and comfortable. Great location with lots to see and do nearby, and walks from the door.
-
"We loved our stay at Casa Mia."
Fantastic location for us, very peaceful but less than 10 minutes drive into Goodwick and Fishguard. The cottage had everything we needed and a lovely secure garden for our dog too which was brilliant.
-
"We thoroughly enjoyed this holiday and that really was down to the cottage it was lovely spotlessly clean and a lovely setting near the lighthouse."
We would definitely recommend it. Many thanks to the owners for making it so enjoyable.
-
"We had a lovely peaceful holiday at Casa Mia, the bungalow was very comfortable and everything that you needed was there, very well equipped."
The owners were wonderful very helpful if you had a problem, one thing to note is that there is no mobile phone signal in the Goodwick area but the Wi-Fi in the bungalow is excellant, would highly recommend .

"The property was satisfactory although a little too remote."
On arrival we encountered ants in the kitchen area. We killed them and had no further infestation thereafter. Instructions on use some items not available but this did cause us any problem.
-
"A lovely peaceful location, well placed for touring around the area."
The accommodation was warm and inviting with plenty of room for us and our dog. A good sized, safe garden (although in March a little cold for us to sit out!). Lovely views across fields to the sea and lighthouse.
-
"We had a fantastic stay in casa Mia peaceful comfortable cottage ."
The surrounding area was absolutely stunning with plenty of walks and beautiful scenery
-
"Brilliant week in a cosy cottage."
Lovely garden and comfy beds. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Amazing walks from the cottage along the coastal path - saw both dolphins and seals.
-
"The cottage was immaculate."
It had everything you'd need. Wonderful views in a beautiful area of Wales. Thoroughly recommended.

"What was there not to like?"
Ideal location for the nature loving rambler. Plenty of coastal walks, both near or a short drive away. Pretty little villages to explore before heading back to a comfy, cosy cottage. Very clean with everything provided for. Owners very friendly and approachable. If you are looking for peace and quiet and relaxation then this is the place. You won’t regret it
-
"Fantastic location with view clear out to Strumble Head."
Owners are right next door but not intrusive in any way. Lovely couple. We had the advantage of perfect weather so did loads and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Small but perfectly formed. Would be a squeeze for 4 but wanted for nothing whilst we were there. It has a freezer, which wasn't listed when we booked, but doesn't have a DVD player, which was....but with those views; who cares.
-
"Very comfortable and well equipped cottage."
Property was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Plenty of space for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 adult sized boys!). Lovely location. Owners were very friendly and available if we needed anything. Can't think of any negative comments!
-
"It didn't lack anything."
We were very pleased. Great view, need binoculars to see seals & dolphins. Superb sunsets & great for star gazing. Already recommended.
-
"There were stunning views of the Strumble Head lighthouse."
..great having a bathroom and a shower room...all you could want as a home away from home...
-
"Lovely cottage well maintained, with everything you could need provided."
Small enclosed garden which was great for our dog. Quiet location but within easy reach of local amenities. Highly recommend
-
"We had a great week at Casa Mia - a perfect location for cycling and walking the coast path with excellent views from the cottage itself."
The property is well maintained and relaxing to return to after a day out. The owners were very welcoming and responded promptly to any queries.
-
"Beautiful, tranquil location near the stunning Strumble Head."
Great place to stay for walking the Coastal Path and seeing wildlife.
-
"Casa Mia was very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean."
The garden was lovely as we took our dog and we were able to use it when the weather was good. I believe the owners have only recently registered with Sykes and this may be why the welcome pack was less than we usually encounter. One pack of welsh cakes only - a pint of milk to make tea is usually provided as well as sometimes eggs/bread. The towels which were advertised as provided were very sparse and small and not really enough for 2 weeks. However these are only small things and overall a delightful place to stay especially for walkers and wildlife spotters. Would recommend it highly.

"Fantastic location and super cosy place"
-
"Great cottage in very quiet location and perfect for the 4 of us."
-
"What a fantastic holiday, the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."
The owners were lovely, there if you needed them but discrete if you just wanted peace and quiet. We especially loved watching the Strumble Head Lighthouse through the window seeing it change with the weather and time of day. Coast path walks within very easy reach, all very beautiful and relatively easy. Can’t recommend highly enough for anyone wanting a little peace and quiet to recharge their batteries.
-
"The cottage was fantastic, plenty of walks from the cottage so no need for busses."
There was everything you needed in the cottage and the garden was lovely to relax after a day of walking. The coast path is great around this area. Everything was easy and very relaxed. We love booking with sykes cottages as we know everything will be of a high standard.
-
"A cosy converted cow shed, very well presented and in a lovely quiet area of the Pembrokeshire coastal area."
Being able to see Strumble head light house from kitchen window is a treat.
-
"Fabulous sunny cottage with everything you could want."
Great location for walking the coastal path.

The property
This pretty sea view cottage is in a fantastic location, just over a mile from Strumble Head with its lighthouse and bird observatory.
Strumble Head is one of the most beautiful places in Pembrokeshire, perfect for spotting porpoises and seals, as well as the ponies which roam free over this headland.
The rugged coastline is the closest point to Ireland and the coastal views are simply spectacular.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be joined nearby and the Preseli Hills are within easy reach of the cottage, making it a perfect base for walkers.
Goodwick, Fishguard, St Davids, Porthgain and Newport are all a short drive away and offer a range of amenities from eateries to pubs and galleries to individual shops and craft workshops. There are plenty of beaches to explore, including the smugglers' coves at Abermawr and Aberbach and larger beaches at Newport, Whitesands and Newgale.
About the location
GOODWICK
Fishguard 2 miles; Newport 9 miles; St. Davids 15 miles.
Goodwick is a picturesque coastal village overlooking the bay where the twice daily ferries run to Ireland. With a variety of shops, cafes, pubs and a small supermarket, it offers everything you need. The twin town of Fishguard is only two miles away, where you will find more unique shops, a delicatessen, pubs, restaurants and the Last Invasion Tapestry, which is based on the famous Welsh ladies' victory over the French and has been compared to the Bayeux Tapestry. Located in such a great coastal position, the Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire section of the world-famous Welsh coastal path is right on your doorstep, so enjoy the scenic walks, outstandingly beautiful beaches, the opportunity to watch dolphins and seals and so much more! From lazy, warm summer days to wild and windy winter days, the scenery is ever-changing and always remarkable. Historic castles, theme parks, art galleries, kayaking, coasteering and boat trips to the islands are all nearby and St. Davids, the smallest city in the UK, with its magnificent cathedral is a short drive away, while the coastal town of Newport, with its fantastic beach, is closer still. A perfect location all year round.
