  • "We enjoyed our stay in the cottage and found it well equipped, very clean and reasonably comfortable."

Being on a walking holiday and spending all day outdoors it would have been nice to put our feet up on something in the evenings. We also found it difficult to sleep due to the bedroom skylights which didn't have any blinds to shut out the light which came flooding in at 4.30am! I would also recommend ear plugs if using the front bedroom. After reading the feedback before booking we were under the impression that the cottage didn't have a microwave oven so we planned our provisions around using a conventional oven, when we arrived we discovered that there was a microwave oven! It would have been really helpful if we had been informed about this.

hello Catherine Thank you for your comments. We have added the microwave to the list of amenities at the cottage so in future people can plan their provisions accordingly. We are researching the best sort of blinds for the skylights, and plan to have them installed by the end of the year. I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay at the cottage, and hope you had good weather for your walking holiday! Property Owner

  • "We loved this cottage."

Warm, cosy and welcoming which was great because we had dreadful weather. Very well equipped and extremely clean, it looked like it had just been decorated. There's just 2 of us but it could easily accommodate 2 couples or some children. We loved the little 'bed in the wall', great for a small child. There's a cute little garden, great in the summer. The cottage is extremely old. It seems to grow out of the city walls. It would have been interesting to know some more of it's history. It could easily be 4 star with just a few extras like toiletries and condiments. It's a great base for exploring Pembrokeshire.

  • "We loved 10 Westgate Hill!"

It is tastefully decorated and charming, very clean and comfortable, so we immediately felt at home. A microwave oven would have been handy, but the kitchen is otherwise fully equipped and large enough for a group to prepare meals together. We enjoyed being in the historic part of Pembroke, directly opposite the castle. We can highly recommend this accommodation!

Thank you for your positive comments, we're pleased you enjoyed your stay! Property Owner
