  • "This is a smashing property and we are so glad we found it."

Very clean, spacious and well equipped. Owners are pleasant and helpful. Location is brilliant for exploring Pembrokeshire whether north, south, east or west. We were able to bring back so many memories of visits from 35 years ago. We really enjoyed staying in the annexe and hope to return one day. Thank you Carys!

  • "Had a great holiday at the Annexe, easily the best holiday property we've stayed at."

Couldn't fault the accommodation at all, the fixtures and fittings were all good quality, it was very comfortable and spacious.....beds were superb and we slept very well! It's also excellent value for money. There was lots of information provided by Carys, and some excellent recommendations too. It was a great base to see the delights that Pembrokeshire had to offer. We will definitely be back.

  • "We were thrilled on seeing the property - the website description is good but seeing it in the flesh so to speak, exceeded our expectations."

It was warm, very comfortable and full of lots of very thoughtful touches to enhance the experience. I could go on describing the property but my strong advice to anyone is not to miss out on what for them, as us, will be a very memorable experience.

  • "We had an excellent five days' stay, only wish it was longer."

Cannot fault the accommodation in any way, the place was spacious, clean and tidy. Lots of beaches within a few miles' drive away. Particularly recommend Nolton Haven and Broad Haven. St David's is well worth a visit to view the Cathedral and the palace ruins. Moby Dick fish and chips just down the hill was excellent freshly cooked food. The youngsters enjoyed the trampolining at Hangar 5. Bit of a drive but for whisky lovers I strongly recommend a visit to Taylors in King Street, Carmarthen.

  • "A nice house with most items you will need."

I was a little disappointed that the owner didn't come to see us and say hello and check everything in the house was ok, especially as the owner lived on site.

Thank you for your positive review. We find that most guests prefer privacy during their stay, so try to respect this, with the assurance in our welcome pack and message that I am close at hand if there are any questions, but appreciate everyone is different. Very glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon. If there are any items which you think were lacking, please send me a text so that I can review these for our next guests. • "This is a lovely holiday property, beautifully decorated throughout."

Very cosy and comfortable. The bedrooms are large and the beds are really comfy. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. Lovely private patio area, but the weather was too cold for us to use. Ample onsite parking. Carys, the owner, is very helpful. The property is situated in a lovely quiet location, convenient for visiting West Wales. Would definitely recommend.

  • "A perfectly lovely place to stay."

The annexe was a beautiful house. It had a well equipped kitchen, lots of homely touches and high spec finish all round. The owner was a delight leaving some most welcome Welsh cakes for our arrival. It was centrally located for travelling out to other places. The owner also provided a very informative folder of useful information from the surrounding area plus many pamphlets of places of interest. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

The Annexe forms part of the main house, but benefits from its own private access and living quarters.

The property is comprised of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, living/dining room, and a large private patio with outdoor seating and dining area. The large master bedroom benefits from a kingsize bed, ensuite with shower, walk-in-wardrobe, writing desk, and a seating area where you can relax and take in the views of the Preseli Hills and surrounding countryside from its large circular window and skylight.

The comfortable rear bedroom features a double bed, mid-century wardrobe and dressing table or writing desk, armchair, and peaceful views of the surrounding farmland. Downstairs, the Living/Dining Room is equipped with a Smart flat-screen TV, a seating area, and a large map of Pembrokeshire next to the family-sized oak dining table and benches, ideal for planning your next adventures over dinner or breakfast.

On nice days, enjoy al fresco dining and open the French doors onto a private patio with outdoor seating and a dining area. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle. The ground floor bathroom features a wet-room shower.

All bedrooms come equipped with hairdryers, and each bathroom contains an over-the-sink light and shaver socket. Underfloor heating is provided on the ground floor, with radiators upstairs, and an additional electric fireplace in the living room should you need it. The nearest footpath begins just steps from the property and joins a beautiful walk along the upper reaches of the Cleddau, finishing at the ruins of a medieval Augustinian priory to the north, or south along the riverbank to Little Milford Woods and the villages of Hook and Llangwm.

Alternatively, a short 7-minute cycle ride from the property will connect you to the cycle path from Merlins Bridge to Neyland and South Pembrokeshire.
