• "We all thoroughly enjoyed our week at Mistletoe Cottage."

  The property is in a delightful setting with a very pleasant dog proof garden. The interior has been beautifully designed and well equipped and was exceptionally comfortable. The adjacent cafe was an added bonus and sufficiently distant to be non intrusive. Hele and Rob were charming and perfect hosts, informative and helpful. The surrounding area is stunning, with easy access to Usk and enchanting river walks.

• "Everything we could have needed was in the property which was very clean, comfortable and fitted out to a high standard."

  Warm welcome from the owner who lives nearby and when we had a query it was sorted out straightaway. The kitchen was very well equipped with extras provided that were generous and unexpected. Plenty of parking for cars.

• "Everything it said it would be, but nicer!"

  Beautifully situated. Very private and relaxed setting, whilst friendly owners are on hand if needed. Great cafe adjoining, which adds rather than detracts from the experience. A lovely place to stay, that feels like a home, and not a holiday cottage. Beautifully furnished and equipped. Just missing a colander!! :)

• "Mistletoe Cottage was everything we hoped for and more!"

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find, well maintained and spacious. It is an extremely well equipped property. We were warm; beds were comfy and towels were good quality. It was a bonus having the Craft Renaissance Kitchen practically on our doorstep - they serve an extremely tasty roast dinner on a Sunday!

• "Thank you for allowing us to have a great family holiday, with ages from 3 to 81!"

  ! We were all very happy, well equiped, including plastic bowls and spoons .etc for small children. Beds were very comfy, as were the sofas , with plenty of towels for everyone.Everything we needed for a family holiday and our granchildren were even allowed to explore property before the grownups so they could sort out sleeping arrangements!!! And I would like to mention the decor, really lovely and perfect for a property of it's age and yet with all mod cons!! Thank you so much and we hope to be back sometime soon.

  Only slight suggestion cottage could be a little warmer. We appreciated the little touches like cups and dishes for young children.

  I’m so pleased you loved our cottage and thank you so much for the feedback. I’m sorry you didn’t find the cottage warm enough, we are always on hand to put the temperature up remotely if needed, this is detailed in the guest book but I will re-look at it today and make sure the information is clearly listed for future guests.   The property is very well equipped, extremely clean a tidy throughout. My entire family were able to stay all together under one roof to celebrate my 60th birthday, so we will all have very fond memories of our stay.   The property was exactly as the photographs showed although the descriptions of the bedrooms on the various floors could be better described. The welcome pack and all the items included in the cottage should be mentioned ie tea, ground coffee and bathroom shower products as this is a very generous gesture.

• "This was the most gorgeous house and was perfect for our needs for a long weekend."

  It is tastefully decorated and was very clean with thick towels and lovely beds! We loved the open kitchen that flowed into the large living room. The house is well equipped and we really did have the best time.

• "We had a wonderful stay for my mums 60th birthday."

  The cottage is beautiful and in a gorgeous location. The child and adults all loved it. The cottage was clean and well equipped for our stay. We would also give the hosts more than 5 out of 5 if we could for being so helpful and understanding when we had a poorly child and car problems! Hosts were fantastic throughout our stay and available when needed.

• "Fantastic place in a lovely part of Wales."

  We had a large group of 9 plus one dog and had lots of room... even an extra bedroom that we didn't need. Very welcoming and accommodating owners who went out of their way to get everything just right for us. Added bonus of the lovely cafe connected to the site, which does a fabulous breakfast! We would be very happy to recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the region.

• "Beautiful property with 6 lovely bedrooms."

  All the facilities you could need, amazing kitchen fully stocked with all crockery/pots/utensils/ kids crockery etc. Hele and Rob were wonderful hosts, provided all baby equipment for us so we didn't have to bring it and even put up a Christmas tree for me! Literally couldn't recommend enough! X
