"A lovely home from home."
Very clean with comfortable beds. Owners were very helpful. A great location. Would recommend any day.
-
"Lovely house and excellent communication with the owner."
-
"Lovely presented property."
Brilliant location for walking into Tenby and plenty of other beaches within a 15 minute drive. Front door could do with looking at as you have to really yank it to shut it, may have dropped slightly. Kitchen well equipped but a slow cooker would be a great addition, we did being ours in case which we used on 3 occasions. Would definitely be returning in the next couple of years.

"The only improvement I could suggest is supplying the Sky card for the tv as there is very limited choice if it’s an inclement day & not everyone has one."

"We had a lovely holiday we love Tenby but sandtops was a very comfortable house ..."
We had a lovely holiday we love Tenby but sandtops was a very comfortable house and a nice outside seating area I hired a mobility scooter whilst there and managed to charge it easily
-
"Excellent turned out property"
-
"Absolutely perfect, spotlessly clean and fully equipped."
If we had to find fault, a hook behind the bathroom door for your dressing gown would be good but I am being petty as the house was lovely.
-
"Very well presented and perfectly clean accommodation with everything you need for a stress free holiday home."
-
"Sandtop is a beautiful home from home."
The bedrooms and mattresses are extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. It’s a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk into Tenby town centre and beach, we did both while there. Parking was adequate for our 3 cars. I would recommend this holiday let to everyone.
-
"Fantastic stay extremely clean house everything we needed more than last place we stayed."
Lovely big rooms plenty of space for a family and lovely bathrooms especially the bath. Recommend any of our friends and family to stay there it was such a lovely place. Easy to walk into town and lots to do in surrounding areas.
-
"Walking to town doesn't take too long but coming back to the house could be a struggle for some people as it is all uphill."
If you are fairly fit and do not have mobility problems its fine. The 'far reaching sea views' is a bit miss leading. However it did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay and I would definitely book again. Wonderful house and well thought out for visitors.
-
"Very well decorated and appointed house - kitchen/bathrooms all very modern, bedrooms spacious and beds comfy."
Everything you could require for a stay was present incl dog escapeproof rear garden ! Well located for the walk down into Tenby although good to use local taxi's in town to get back up the hill ! Very handy large field neat to house to let dog(s) run free. Would certainly revisit and recommend.
-
"The property itself was exceptional - extremely clean, very well appointed and showing a great attention to detail by the owners - one could want for nothing."
The only issues (and they are minor) relate to the description in the listing - the ‘sea views’ are marginal, only being visible from a bedroom, and the impression given is that the beach is reasonably close, but the house is actually in the northern outskirts of Tenby, with a real trek to the beach. Otherwise excellent!

"Hi. Our stay at Sandtop was excellent."
Everything we needed. Near enough to walk into Tenby, but uphill coming back. But we got a taxi for 4 £5 . Lovely comfortable beds. Beautiful bathrooms. Enclosed garden. The only thing we found hard, were the steps up to the house. Needs a rail. Owners were lovely.

-

Tastefully decorated and furnished; very comfortable and clean. Great place to relax and perfect base from which to enjoy the surrounding area. Thank you.
-
"A lovely holiday home, fully equipped and modern, every taste catered for."
We had an excellent holiday.
-
"Lovely cottage."
Clean & comfortable. Excellent base for exploring the area. Would highly recommend. Just to note: Dog friendly but if your pooch likes to sit next to you on the sofa or sleep upstairs then this holiday let would not suit. Dogs not allowed on furniture or upstairs.

"Had a brillant time il be rebooking same place next year it was a loveily house ..."
Had a brillant time il be rebooking same place next year it was a loveily house the veiw from the windows upstairs were amazing
-
"The property was very clean and comfortable however we felt that Sykes Cottages description was slightly misleading with regard to the sea views which are only available from one bedroom window upstairs ."
The parking was adequate but no more we were also slightly disappointed with the location an easy walk down the hill into town but obviously uphill all the way back . The actual property though is probably up to its full potential and the owners have developed it with great taste . Overall very good

"The Sandtop had everything you could hope for!"
Great internet, a quiet street, enclosed garden, all the amenities, and a modern TV. We enjoyed the stay so much we extended by 2 more weeks! Many thanks Gill & Nigel for your great communication before and during the stay. We look forward to staying again in the future.

About the location
TENBY
Pembroke 11 miles; Carmarthen 26 miles.
The bustling seaside resort of Tenby, known within Wales as “The Jewel in the Crown", is majestically positioned on the spectacularly beautiful 'Welsh Riviera'. Tenby is part of the stunning 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park where the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the county is one of the sunniest places in the UK. Enclosed by medieval walls, this beautiful town features a maze of cobbled streets, hosting an array of quirky shops, indoor locally-sourced food market, tea rooms and tempting restaurants. Almost three miles of stunning, Blue Flag-awarded beaches provide a variety of watersports, whilst walkers and cyclists can enjoy the local flora and fauna on the coastal paths, something the competitors of the world-renowned Tenby Iron-Man contest (held in mid-September) haven’t time for! A boat trip to Caldey Island is recommended to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the monastery and island scenery, and you can enjoy seal and puffin sightings en-route! Explore the magnificent Tudor Merchant's House, or visit the nearby resorts of Saundersfoot or Manobier. For teens and younger visitors, Oakwood Theme Park provides a brilliant, fun-filled day out whilst Folly Farm offers everything from old-fashioned fairground rides to animals both local and exotic! The perfect location for an enjoyable and varied holiday.
