"We had a brilliant stay at Beach Cottage."
The location is amazing by being right on the beach and in the middle of bustling Little Haven. It makes life so much easier for settling on the beach for the day as can quickly go back and get what you need. We have two young children and they felt instantly at home and so did I being walking distance of 3 pubs! We stayed at week and some days didn’t need start car as there was every you need on your doorstep. Only downside which is a small one, is the house wasn’t too clean, could do with a good clean throughout in my opinion. Apart from that’s everything was ideal. Would highly recommend and would love to stay at Beach Cottage again!!

"Great location, lovely cottage."
Great position. Very cosy. We went end of April / before May BH, so opening times for local shops /pub next door a bit haphazard. May be better later in the season.

"Beautiful idilc setting and wonderful to hear the movement of the roses outside your front door."
It’s everything you would want in a beach cottage with the most amazing views in a sleepy traditional Welsh village. Wonderful stay and made some great memory’s!

"Great location!"

"Lovely Cottage right by the beach."
Amazing views from the Bedrooms. Loved the sound of the waves while lying in bed. Once the underfloor heating is on long enough - a very cozy cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need with a beautiful stone worktop. The log burner is great & found cheaper logs in Aldi. Banged my head a few times coming out of the Utility Room - could do with some padding & such a shame the enormous shower only has a trickle in the corner. It’s asking for a drench shower from the hot water cylinder. Parking really easy 2mins round corner. Great walks on the beach around to Broad Haven at low tide or around the headland on the coast path.

"Absolutely delighted and pleased with the home, lay-out, facilities, soft furnishings, decor, furniture, location, views, ambience and support."
Even the original water colour paintings in each room are beautiful. We have spent 2 weeks in summer and 2 weeks in winter at Little Haven for the past 20 years, which means 40 weeks in total and numerous different rented holiday homes - there literally is no place where we have not stayed in Little Haven! Beach Cottage is THE BEST sélf-catering accommodation we have ever had and we cannot praise it enough. It was like being in heaven and we definitely are rebooking - not sure how we will ever be satisfied with any other rental!

"Loved everything about the house and its location."
-
"Nice location, but facilities are a bit worn."
Heating in bath rooms and sleeping rooms did not work, frying pan was eroded , dish washer did not clean properly (may need regeneration of ion exchanger), remote control of TV may need new battery. Apart from that the cottage is cozy. Hote plate induction worked very well. I don't think that the cottage has 130 m2. Feels much smaller.

"Dream cottage, pole position."
Inviting and homely.

"It was great here, appreciated lots of little basics like dishwasher tabs."
Only complaint would be that there was only one roll of toilet paper in the house. But gorgeous cottage and we loved the mix of old and new. Also maybe I only skimmed the page but I didnt realise we had that beautiful terrace. Maybe make more of that on the listing - it was fabulous

"I returned to LH for the first time after living there 50 years ago."
It had changed but the essence of the place remains. A fantastic base to properly relax with my grown up children ....they loved it. It has everything on the doorstep inc the Swan next door for decent wine and craft beers, walks along the PC path and fine reataurants a short drive away. Wholeheartedly recommended

"We had the most fantastic holiday at Beach cottage."
You cannot beat this location! The cottage is very well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. All the information we needed was communicated to us in plenty of time and any extra, useful information was quickly shared with us by the caretaker Rachel. Thank you! Our 3 year old cried on the day we left because we had such a wonderful time!

"Ideal setting - right on the beach with all you need in walking distance."
Steep steps at the back which we were able to use but accept difficult for some. However, you do not need to use them as so close to flat areas outside. Thoroughly recommend this cottage and thanks for all you have done to make it so comfortable. Lovely coastal walks and what an experience going to Skomer - not to be missed.

"Lovely cottage, planning to stay there again."
The most beautiful spot, so relaxing. Our first trip to Pembrokeshire and after visiting the other very nice towns nearby, we realised we'd hit the jackpot booking this cottage and staying in Little Haven. The housekeeper called by to check we knew which bins to put out, she was lovely and very helpful.
Thank you for your lovely comments on the cottage. Hitting the jackpot is also how we feel about its location! Property Owner

"We absolutely loved Beach Cottage."
It’s position overlooking the beach, being able to hear the waves from our bedrooms and it’s position for visiting other places all made it a special holiday. The village is small but has three pubs and we could eat there if we wanted to. It’s closeness to the coastal footpath is an advantage too. The cottage is well organised and has everything you need if you want to cook meals.

"The cottage is in a great location, and Little Haven is a lovely friendly village."
Our only slight grumbles were that the double mattress isn't the most comfy, and that it would be nice if a few basic food items were provided (teabags and sugar?) given there are no shops in the village so it isn't easy to just pop out any buy basic things when you first arrive. But these are only minor things and shouldn't put anyone off from staying at the house, which I hope we will do again.

"Delightful right on the beach and by the coast path."
Breakfast coffee in the sun chatting to passers by was an unexpected bonus.

"Lovely short break stay at beach cottage, clean and tidy , and was ideal for our needs."
Excellent communication from the owner, and we hope to stay there again some time

"Quiet location, ideal for going to sea, beach, restaurants, and near car park to drive to other beaches."
Only issue the garden is up high steps at the back and over-run but we used the beach front and beach . A friendly village,

"This is a wonderful, cute little cottage that definitely met the description given online!"
It's placement is ideal, it is literally on the beach front, which is ideal when you have little ones, and also when you have changeable weather, as we did during our stay. When the tide goes out, there is a nice sandy beach for little ones to play on. In addition, there are some lovely views of the beach from the upstairs bedrooms. The nice little cove offers some privacy away from big crowds, and also provides an excellent base to visit many local beaches and attractions. In terms of facilities, the kitchen and bathroom are both of excellent standard - the power shower has excellent flow and a good temperature. We cooked a few simple meals whilst at the cottage, including stir fry, oven chips, freshly baked croissants and even pancakes! All the relevant equipment was in place to make all of these dishes, including kitchen scales and a measuring jug. Our only problem was that it was not clear that the controls for the heating and hot water in the rest of the house were in the utility room - we had spent some time trying to adjust the thermostat dial outside the bathroom, with no luck, and as a consequence spent a few very cold days in the house thinking that the heating didn't work in the house! Nevertheless, when we eventually called the company, someone came within the hour to explain how the heating system worked. It would also be nice if there could be one electric or oil radiator downstairs, as there are no radiators at all on the downstairs floor, but this is a relatively minor issue for the summer months. I can only assume that we are meant to fire up the wood fire to heat the downstairs during the colder times of year, and whilst there was plenty of wood provided for burning, there was no kindling wood or any instructions, so we struggled to get a fire going. The only other complaint we would have is that although it is really great that the property has a fully functioning washing machine that we used a number of times, the utility room is very cold and damp, as it does not have many windows to let in the sunshine, so we had to hang our washing on the bannisters and in our rooms upstairs, where there were radiators. Conversely, I particularly liked the extensive arrangements in place to try and recycle as much of the household waste as possible. We sorted our waste in the appropriate bags and boxes, and left them all out on the street ready to be collected on Friday morning according to the instructions placed on the wall in the utility room, and it was all taken away. The above are just some minor comments for possible improvement in future, but all in all, we all had a fabulous stay, and would definitely like to come again!

"Brilliant location right on the beach with the coastal pathway right by the front door, 3 pubs within 100 metres (although one was closed during our stay)."
Great for families with younger children although my teenagers enjoyed themselves.

"The cottage was as described very close to the beach and slipway and with splendid views of the beach and out to sea."
Great for watching all the activity and being involved in the atmosphere of this compact little village. The cottage was very well fitted out with good equipment and appliances. We felt at home very quickly. The arrangements for parking in the council car park worked well. We only spent a short time in the garden, high above the cottage, and that was enjoyable but perhaps a bit difficult if you wished to carry and eat a meal up there. The cottage was well heated for chilly evenings when the wind blows in from the sea. Nice very short walk up to the point to see the sunset and to get an even better panoramic view of St Brides Bay. The only minor niggles were bedside lights in the bedroom, one was faulty and the other had a failed bulb. The cooker hood was very good but it needed to be cleaned out. Overall this is a great little cottage in a superb position. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.
