  • "To describe our say in one word "AMAZING"."

Chris and I enjoyed our stay so much and could not fault Shepard's hut at all. The hosts have definitely put a lot of thought into this to make sure that every individual enjoy their stay. Private garden for the dogs, upon arrival, eggs, butter, cakes, jam, tea, bread and lots more available. There was nothing missing at all. Chris and I have stayed at many huts before and found that the bed was uncomfortable. The bed at Shepard's Hut was amazing and so comfortable which added to our holiday and feeling rested. There was wood logs and charcoal available upon arrival. The shed at the side of hut, had everything you needed inside. The hut was very clean and easy to maintain. I took my picnic mat and placed it on the floor inside the hut out of respect due to having to 2 dogs. Close to the huts, you will find a lovely forest walk for the dogs which is marked out clearly for tail. It was so peaceful and the rain did not put us off at all. The hut was very warm inside and all facilities are to an amazing standard. This is the far best hut Chris and I have stayed and the host deserve so much credit for the work they have put into this. The hosts are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Chris and I would like to say! A BIG THANKYOU and would love to stay here again. I would highly recommend to everyone looking for a romantic and peaceful weekend. From Chris and Sue Stockport Manchester.

  • "The property was absolutely fabulous, I was so impressed!"

It was really well equipped, there wasn't anything I felt was missing/needed. The bed was very comfortable and had great storage underneath. Having an enclosed space was perfect for my dog, it really gave me peace of mind. There were only two other huts and they were really well spaced out, so it still felt very private. The hosts were lovely too! Thank you so much :)

Thank you for your lovely review Debs and it was great to welcome you and the gorgeous Biscuit to Onnen. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for choosing to stay with us. Property Owner
