Lovely spacious and airy property. Hot tub was fab and the animals kept my little girl entertained. The owners, Andrea and Stuart were really welcoming and helpful and I completely fell in love with the donkeys! Would love to return!

  • "Andrea and Stuart went above and beyond in helping us, nothing was too much trouble to them."

They are such lovely people. The accommodation was really comfortable and spacious. It’s a lovely place to stay if you want peace and quiet and good country air. The animals they have are brilliant and really well behaved. It’s not too far from the coast either. My hubby and I enjoyed it so much we will be going back next year.

It was immaculate. I felt time had slipped back to a more serene era of genuine caring . If Dylan Thomas were alive he would choose this place for the sheer input of subject matter to share his pen and imagination. It felt like being transported to the days of James Herriot. The hosts were so friendly in a.way felt like family. The area peaceful countryside Andrenia made me Welsh cakes delcious To sum up. I awoke from a dream and stepped right into another a time.capsule transported me from Highland to Welsh Country. My friends for the.week mostly had four legs some two with webbed.feet Horns and beaks. I felt like the pied piper being followed around south trust and a harmony of sound. The owners are the most friendliness and kindest we've ever met and have recommended this accommodation to family and friends already. Their help for my wife was great and nothing was too much to ask.

Cottage very nice and well equipped, hot tub excellent and a good barbecue there. Small selection of birds and animals there which are lovely to see. We enjoyed the cottage very much

We thought we were in the wrong cottage.

  • "Although advertised as disabled friendly, the shower did not have any hand rails."

When I pointed this out to the owner, he said he would immediately put some up. I found the bed very hard, and low. However the owner was very nice and helpful. The cottage was well situated, with lots of interesting animals on site. Also close to other towns to explore. We had welsh cakes and butter bread and a bottle of wine on the table when we arrived. Which was very nice. We found it very peaceful and relaxing there and would visit again in the future. The cottage was quite well fitted out, but desperately in need of new saucepans. We took our own frying pan.

My concern was the animal that they kept there they were kept in absolutely dirty condition there was owls to start with there wings had been clipped so they couldn’t fly all they could do was through themselves at the so called cages they were kept in which were very dirty 2 raccoons were in cages there accommodation was diabolical no clean water the smell was disgusting from the housing were they were kept all animal water bowl were so dirty they were green with algae’s and full of faeces if I would have had children with me I would not have let them near them poor animal something needs to be done about it I did not see any one cleaning them the whole week we were there I hope with us writing this review someone will go and see for themselves

Great place to stay with the family. Hot tub is a great feature especially after being out and about visiting the beaches and castles nearby. The cottage was a good size, in excellent condition. Definitely recommend.

  • "The cottage was ill-equipped - no washing-up liquid or sponge, the fridge had one door pocket missing and the other broken, one bed was far too soft and the other too hard, the duvet was winter-weight so it was sweltering hot for sleeping."

The surrounding were tatty, old caravans etc opposite the cottage (a very flattering shot was shown on the website). The pens for birds were ramshackle and in some cases overgrown with weeds and the water provided for the birds was filthy. There was a polite notice asking us to leave the place as clean as we found it - it would have been easier if any cleaning materials had been provided! We left half-way through the week.

My grandchildren loved being able to interact with the animals especially the donkeys and the cat. The cottage was in an ideal location to be able to visit many castles and theme parks. It was also really lovely to come back from a long day out and relax in the hot tub. The owners Stuart and Andrea were really welcoming and helpful.
