  • "A lovely cottage in perfect isolation, but within easy reach of civilisation should you need it."

A well equipped home from home, comfy bed, comfy sofa, and thankfully lots of clothes airers as we picked an iffy weather week. So many lovely forest or beach or moorland walks within 30 minute drive. Lovely warm welcome from Linda and Nigel, helpful but not intrusive.

Thanks so much for the lovely feedback. It was a pleasure to have you stay. Property Owner

  • "We were welcomed as we drove in by Linda."

Property was clean and inviting, lovely views from the back garden. Very peaceful Linda and Nigel thought of everything you could need, even down to a sewing kit, toiletries and welcome treats. Would definitely recommend.

So glad you had a good time at the Barn and it was our pleasure to host you. Hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "We received a very warm welcome from Linda and Nigel on arrival who showed us around their recent modern barn conversion."

Gelli barn was very comfortable and well equipped with lovely views, wildlife and extremely peaceful location with added bonus of decking to enjoy the views and sunshine. This break was just what we needed, we had a great time and would thoroughly recommend this property for a holiday in wales . We much appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack and the use of washing machine was a bonus as we moved on from Gelli barn to another cottage in Gloucester for our second week. Thanks Linda and Nigel for your kind hospitality, we hope to return in the future. Anne and Mike

  • "Lovely property, had everything we needed, quiet, comfy, spacious, a sense of calm."

Fabulous location close to so many attractions and shops. Brilliant hosts, felt safe and welcome. We spent a lot of afternoons and evenings enjoying the views from the deck across fields and hills, watching birds of prey, garden birds, squirrels, bats and along the long wooded drive spotted several deer. Great WiFi connection, kids enjoyed PS3, good mix of board games for them and of course a big garden to play in. Looking forward to returning.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at the barn, a friendly welcome from Linda and Nigel and nothing was too much trouble."

The attention to detail was inmpecable including toiletries, home comforts and very welcome treats. The views from the decking area was to die for, never tiring of waking up to in the mornings as much as the starry nights. There were plenty of places to visit within the amazing Welsh countryside. We will definitely revisit and would definitely recommend.

It is in such a secret and remote location, so peaceful with beautiful surrounding countryside. There is so much around to go and visit, so much that we need to come back again :)
