"Our third visit to this lovely well appointed accommodation."
Its open plan and feels spacious and bright. Our stay was enhanced by a brilliant week weather wise.People should be aware that major road improvements are being carried out and the 20mph restrictions in Wales are ridiculous.Would we go again yes in a heartbeat

"What a lovely cottage in a brilliant position to explore the local area."
The cottage was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. It was lovely and clean and very spacious. The garden was great and the children enjoyed playing football in the garden. Donna the owner was very friendly and helpful. There were some lovely treats on arrival which was a lovely touch. We had a great week and wouldn't hesitate in recommending the cottage to friends and family. Easily the nicest cottage we have stayed in!
-
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property, three generations of the family and all happy."
Spacious, well equipped accommodation, comfy beds and lovely outside space for granddaughter to run around in. Highly recommended.
-
"We had a wonderful stay here, a real home from home."
The house is so well equipped making it easy for my husband and I to eat in, prepare meals, etc. Donna was also very helpful in letting us know specific locations that we would enjoy during our stay. We loved the peace and quiet, the convenience of all the local amenities, and of course the National Trust properties. I would highly recommend staying here, and really appreciated the beautiful attention to detail regarding the bed linen, towels, and the thoughtful gifts of chocolate and wine, definitely needed after a long journey. Of course the milk, bread and Welsh cakes were also very much appreciated.
-
"A comfortable and cosy cottage, lots of space and well equipped."
My only gripes would be that the 48" TV is too small for the size of living room and that the two main bedrooms would benefit from have some pictures as they feel cold and stark. As for the listing, I would suggest that the note about traffic noise is misleading. The noise is experienced inside too, especially when all the farm traffic is going past (and this includes late at night).
-
"What a wonderful cottage in an idyllic location."
It was quiet and peaceful but only 10 mins or so drive from the lovely town of Narberth. The owners were very friendly and helpful whilst allowing us our privacy. The extra touches such as Easter eggs for the kids, milk and Welsh cakes were very thoughtful and made for a fantastic welcome after a long drive. All in all, a 5 star stay!
-
"The property would benefit from a second toilet facility."
-
"Would thoroughly recommend this cottage it was everything we expected."
Owners were on hand if needed ,we could not find fault with anything.
-
"A simply delightful cottage in a perfect location to explore Pembrokeshire and all it has to offer."
The cottage is very well appointed with everything you might need and the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. We were provided with bespoke suggestions for places to go and things to do and I wish we’d had longer to try them all. This is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of Wales.
-
"Excellent, well equipped and beautiful."
In perfect location. Would highly recommend.

"Our second stay was fantastic."
The cottage is clean, well maintained, has excellent facilities and everything we needed for an amazing week. Donna popped by after we arrived and to say bye. Their numbers are available too should you need anything. The open plan of the living space is perfect for us and our young children. The boys loved the garden space and it was perfect for a game of football at the end of the day. The cottage is located in a beautiful area, very peaceful, although our youngest loved to see tractors and trains nearby, their noise wasn't enough to disturb. We also loved seeing birds of prey and little swifts flying around the farm buildings. The cottage is close to Narberth, which is great for shops and places to eat. It is also not far to Tenby, Saundersfoot, we enjoyed an afternoon drink at Wiseman's Bridge Inn after a hot day and we would recommend Carew Castle, Picton Castle and Pembroke Castle. Marloes Sands is a beautiful beach too. The cottage was a very welcoming place after busy days. We would definitely love to go back in the future.
-
"A really high specification cottage , very well maintained and very clean ."
Situated relatively close to the lovely town of Narberth down country lanes . Well positioned for access to all parts of the counties of Carmarthen , Pembroke and Cardigan . The owners live in the house next door and are so welcoming and helpful. There is a nice lawned garden and table and chairs for sitting outside in good weather which I was so lucky to have had . All in all I would certainly visit again .
-
"Fantastic well equipped 3 bedroom cottage could not fault it, did not want to come home."
Owners recommended a visit to The Angel Inn in Narberth 10/12 minute drive thoroughly recommend this property it’s a gem.
-
"Property was easy to find and located in a quiet pretty location."
The owners live next door but were not intrusive. Access to the area was easy as the A40 is a few minutes drive away.
-
"A beautiful property in an idyllic location."
The cottage is even nicer in real life than the photos! Kitchen is well stocked with absolutely everything you need. The little welcome treats and essentials on arrival were a lovely touch. The owner Donna ensured we were all OK and was on hand if needed, but without being intrusive. The property is adjacent to the owners home but despite this, it still felt quiet and private. We particularly enjoyed watching the swallows swooping in and out of the barns, and sitting soaking up the lovely views from the windows. Location is tucked away but very accessible for Tenby and Saundersfoot for seaside towns and the beaches. Its also well located for day trips to other parts of Pembrokeshire. Stackpole Estate/Barafundle bay is approx 45min and Martin's Haven for the boat out to Skomer Island was about an hour away. One slight negative is that our teenagers found the single beds in bedroom 3 uncomfortable, but apart from that we would definitely recommend this property... you won't be disappointed!
-
"The property was perfect for us, the open plan and same level worked perfectly for us as a young family."
The facilities are a great standard and the property was very clean. Our boys loved the garden and played football every night. The parking space was generous and although on the road, the noise was minimal and would not disturb anyone. The bedrooms were all beautifully decorated, as was the living space. Everywhere was very comfortable and after busy days it was nice to arrive back to a lovely space and have a good selection of channels to watch. The property was in an excellent location for where we like to visit in the county and nowhere is very far away. We would love to visit again. The owners were very friendly

"Wonderful cottage and peaceful are looking to go back later this yr"
-
"Our hosts are the nicest we have met."
They are always friendly but not intrusive and they give the best treats of any holiday cottage we have stayed at. This was our third time. Central to both coasts being less than a half hour drive away and in the middle of the countryside, but close enough to a main road. We have been to some lovely places. Porthgain, Newgale, Parrog, Amroth to name but a few.
-
"This was the most perfectly placed cottage for us."
Rural and peaceful but within a good driving distance to all of our favourite haunts. The best welcome and nicest owners we've ever come across and fantastic facilities within a stunning, warm and comfortable home from home. We came back to book a week in October but sadly it's all fully booked up! Unsurprising as it was beyond perfect.
-
"We had a wonderful holiday, the cottage was perfect with everything anyone would need catered for."
Cannot recommend it enough.
-
"The hosts made us feel very welcome and offered ideas of places of interest to visit which were relevant to us."
A fabulous location with lots to do suiting every need, from beach to walking. The accommodation was homely, with everything you needed and more! and very clean. I can't recommend this enough.
-
"Lovely stay in a beautiful house."
Will definitely be staying there again!
-
"Llety'r Llwynog is a wonderful holiday cottage in a quiet location with stunning views across rolling Welsh countryside."
A spacious, open plan living / kitchen / dining area, tastefully decorated, and charming bedrooms. Fabulous bathroom too. Generally even better than photos indicate. Good proximity to Narberth and many other attractions and coastal hot spots. Would definitely recommend.
-
"Lovely to stay in a beautiful cottage and feel comfortable with the surroundings, we enjoyed our experience of exploring stackpole estate and the coastal paths, also Tenby and Saunders foot."
The cottage was decorated to a high standard which made our stay enjoyable and would not hesitate to return. Christine Bradshaw and family
-
"We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door."
A modern, comfortable home which was immaculate. Though we took our own basics for cooking/cleaning, the cottage had everything we needed. Thoughtful extras like hand gel, anti-bacterial wipes and masks showed that Byron and Donna were stringent about Covid rules. The towels were of excellent quality ( something not all rented properties come with!). The “welcome pack” was the best we have experienced when renting. Very highly recommended
-
"Great location, close to Narberth town, with a good variety of decent restaurants and shops, yet away from it all surrounded by wonderful rural views."
The property was immaculate - very well appointed with plenty of space indoors and out.
-
"The owners of the property Byron and Donna are a great couple."
We had a little difficulty finding it and Byron guided us in. The house is in a rural location very quiet and bothered by no one. As its farming country there are numerous farm vehicles using the road outside. Great care should be exercised in egressing the property onto the road. The property has 3 nice size bedrooms and a very modern open plan design. It is very well equipped with all the white goods. The house is fitted with an alarm for peace of mind. Its in an ideal location for visiting the Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire areas. The a40 is close by running either down to Haverfordwest or up to Carmarthen. Would we stay there again. Definitely
-
"This is a delightful cottage out in the country where all you hear is the odd passing car and the birdsong, but close enough to main roads and access to the coasts."
A real central point to visit both the North and South coasts. The cottage is beautifully equipped and the host are extremely friendly and hospitable. This is our second visit to this cottage and we are very likely to return again. The pictures on the web-site do not do it justice. Spacious but also cosy a real home from home.
-
"A fantastic cottage."
My third visit! A good base for exploring the area.
-
"We’ve stayed in quite a few Sykes properties and this was exceptional."
Incredibly clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners were lovely, helpful and there if needed.
-
"This cottage was fantastic, everything we needed & surpassed our expectations- the welcome pack was a nice touch ."
We will definitely be revisiting in the future
-
"This cottage is one of the best we have stayed at."
It was wonderful to have an extensive and well equipped kitchen with such good quality utensils. The whole cottage was done with taste and high quality throughout. There was a 13th century church at the bottom of the garden also.It would be great to have a bit of history about it for visitors. We really loved this place.
-
"The property was really lovely and calming."
It was clean, comfortable and peaceful. Being ideally placed with easy access to the surrounding area it made getting out and about a real treat. We can see why the property is so popular and gets great reviews
-
"Fantastic holiday accommodation which exceed all our expectations."
Great welcome pack which included local welsh cakes and a bottle of wine. Ideally situated to explore all the popular resorts in the Pembrokeshire area. Accommodation was exceptional and equipped with all modern amenities. Wonderful greeting from host on arrival. Hope to return one day.

"Superb Cottage"
-
"The booking process was quick and easy."
The cottage was amazing - it’s our second stay there. It is perfectly situated for exploring all the area has to offer. It’s a real home from home too with all you need for a great self catering stay. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and the owners are there if you need them without being intrusive. We will surely return.
-
"This is an excellent cottage that is suitable for all ages."
The layout and facilities are good for those with age related or mobility problems, flat even floors, large easily accessible shower, spacious bedrooms but is modern and airy enough to suit a family with children or couples.
-
"Probably the best cottage I've been to!"
Everything about it had been carefully planned and executed.
-
"The cottage is charming and is more than well equipped."
The baby items requested were of an extremely high standard as was all the bedding etc. The welcome pack was very generous. We did not want to leave this lovely place. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
-
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage."
Maintained to a high standard and very well equipped. Ideally located to explore Pembrokeshire. Owners on hand if required. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend.
-
"Fabulous cottage, great space, will be back!"
!
-
"Well equipped cottage in a peaceful location."
Cottage refurbished to a high quality.
-
"Lovely, cosy cottage which had everything we could possibly want."
Lovely welcome goodies on arrival. About a mile from the main road which runs from St Clears to Haverfordwest. Wi-Fi & Full Sky package + Netflix too. Great base for West Wales :-) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!
-
"The cottage is well equipped and the welcome pack was very welcome."
It is a beautiful cottage a credit to the owners, they have made it feel like home from home. We look forward to arranging another holiday in this cottage soon.
-
"We enjoyed a week in this very comfortable and well equipped cottage."
It is situated in pleasant countryside and is an ideal base to visit Narberth and explore the Pembrokeshire coast. The welcome pack was much appreciated.
-
"Byron and Donna made us all very welcome in their lovely cottage."
Everything had been thought of, easy access for those of us with mobility issues, even sky movies and net flix. Saundersfoot was lovely with easy access too. We highly recommend this holiday to everyone. Just wish we didn't live so far away
-
"Fantastic cottage in a lovely part of the world."
Really well placed to explore the Pembrokeshire coastline. Lovely welcome pack left by the owner - all in all 10 out of 10!
-
"The cottage was lovely and the welcome pack was well received."
We will definitely want to stay there again.
-
"We really enjoyed our stay in Lleyt'r Llwynog, and we will go back some time, maybe later this year."
The cottage had everything, and more than we expected. We arrived to find a bowl of flowers, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, Welsh Cakes, a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine. It was so warm and inviting. The only thing I would suggest, is that, Sykes add to the directions, that in Llanddewi Velfrey, look for the road signposted Llanfallteg, (if coming from St. Clears, it is right hand turn, if from Narberth, it is a left hand turn). We were looking for the Hump bridge while in Llanddewi Velfrey.
-
"From the start making this booking was great as the Sykes website was easy to use and provided all the relevant information."
Quite often when we search for holidays/breaks, we are given accommodation that does not cater for our family of 5. Sykes only showed us accommodation suitable for our needs. Llety'r Llwynog was really lovely. We could not fault it in any way. The property was decorated and furnished beautifully and was very well equipped. The hosts provided a lovely welcome pack and we didn't want for anything (except to stay longer!!). They were friendly and let us know where to find them, but left us to enjoy our break. The cottage was ideally situated for exploring Barafundle Bay, Narberth and Tenby. All round a fabulous mini break experience.
-
"This is a fantastic Cottage and would recommend."
Everything was perfect.
-
"A wonderful place to stay."
We wanted for nothing. A lovely welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk etc was waiting for us as well as a lovely bunch of flowers. Extremely well fitted and very comfortable.
-
"Very lovely cottage and friendly owners."
Well equipped. Great friendly local pub and beautiful setting.
-
"Excellent holiday cottage."
Exceeded expectations. Beautifully equipped, furnished and kept. Lovely owners. Couldn't recommend enough
-
"The communication with the vendor before our stay was very good."
We were informed that we could enter the cottage earlier, as there was no one there the previous week, which was very helpful. The directions which were sent to us were very accurate and easy to follow. The cottage was very clean, spacious and well equipped with some unexpected goodies which were very welcome. There was a information folder which was very helpful explaining how everything worked and also local information. I stayed here with four other female friends and were all very happy. I would recommend this cottage to others as there were not complaints at all
-
"Beautiful cottage, out in the countryside."
The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. The decor was very tasteful and to a high standard; the linen was of a good quality and clean, the towels were large, thick and soft. The kitchen utensils and general equipment was plentiful, in good condition and far more than you would expect for a holiday let. Overall a superb cottage that we are likely to book again in the future.

"One of the rare moments reality tops the online info!"
Great cottage, lots of space, a very nive welcome, anything one would need. Definitely a recommendation, if we ever get back in that area, it will be in this cottage.
