  • "Lovely spacious house, clean, comfortable and very well equipped."

The bedrooms are all a good size, there’s a huge dining table and plenty of sofa space. The hot tub was lovely and very well maintained. We didn’t use them but there are a variety of surf boards you could borrow and loads of games in the house. There are glorious views from 2nd and 3rd floors over Solva harbour. House is in a quiet cul de sac on the hill out of solva with a 5 minute walk down into the town, where there was lot's of places to eat and drink. There is easy access onto the costal paths meaning you can walk from the house to St David’s or Newgale but would recommend bus or taxi back Both the owner and the housekeeper were very helpful when a problem arose and did their best to sort it out as soon as possible. The only additional things we could think of to make the house even better was a smart speaker for music and adjusting the smart TVs so you could access Netflix’s eta for evening entertainment. Overall would thoroughly recommend Harmon vale as an excellent base for exploring north Pembrokeshire.

  • "A stunning house in a wonderful place."

Ideal for visiting fantastic places in Pembrokeshire. The house itself, was comfortable, clean and welcoming. To have 4 bathrooms to use for a party of 7 worked out brilliant. Plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. Superb communication from the owner, Helen. If we are to visit Pembrokeshire again, Harmon Vale would be our first choice.

Hi David, Thank you for such a lovely review, we are so pleased that you had a great time. We look forward to seeing you back in Solva in the future. All the very best, Helen Property Owner

  • "Harmon vale is a stunning property with breathtaking views."

The hot tub a lovely treat at the end off a day. Solva is a beautiful place but very steep walk down to the harbour which is beautiful. Not ideal for my husband who has mobility issues. We got around this by parking in the harbour car park.

Thank you so muh for coming to stay with your family Carmel, I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your time in Harmon Vale. You are quite right about the walk to and from the harbour and I am sorry that this was not made clearer in our property description, I will ask for a line to be added. I am glad that you were able to enjoy the harbour by driving down although I understand this wasn't ideal. All the very best, thank you again and enjoy the rest of your summer, Helen Property Owner

  • "Harmon Vale is a superb house for a multigenerational holiday."

We had plenty of room for our three generations and the layout suited us well. The house is clean, modern and well maintained. The views are amazing and it’s a short walk to the shops and the coastal path. The hot tub was used by our group every day and evening! Helen was very helpful with requests and we appreciated the milk and Welsh cakes. St David’s has a great Indian restaurant for takeaways and a fish and chip shop. Our young families appreciated the leisure centre and soft play centre in Haverfordwest and an adventure farm a bit further away. We would highly recommend this holiday home.

  • "This house has the wow factor absolutely amazing, views, clean and airy, the owner has thought and catered for everything, ideal for large family holidays."

Minor thing would be to add baby gate available, as you've mentioned cot and highchair and we rang and was told it wasn't,. Other than that we can't fault anything , Helen the owner regularly checked the hot tub, and if we had any issues they were sorted . immediately, we would definitely return.

  • "This is an amazing cottage a true home from home with the added benefit of a hot tub."

Well equipped and beautiful decor. Solva is a lovely place and St. David’s is a short drive away, Whitesands beach is well worth a visit. Highly recommend The Cambrian in Solva for a meal, food was amazing and if you like fish, then Mrs Will’s fish platter is delicious and worth placing an order. The little village shop has everything you need, fresh baked bread and pastries and milk, just remember to take your milk bottle! We loved our stay at Harmon Vale and will definitely be back. Fantastic time, thank you.

  • "Amazing cottage in an amazing area."

The cottage is tremendous and well exceeded our expectations. It’s a small stroll away from the harbour and Solva town. The quality of the facilities inside was excellent and you can tell the owners have a passion for their properties having personally built them. We will be returning.

The kitchen/dining/living area was well equipped with plenty of space for us all to enjoy. The bedrooms were ideal with the EnSite facilities. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the patio area (with it's lovely lighting in the evening). I would certainly stay here again.

They also included baking trays and foil. It was also nice to see a stock of seasonings available even though we’d brought our own. The location was perfect for beautiful walks.
