  • "The log cabin was lovely, just as inviting and comfortable as it was the first time we stayed 10 years ago for our honeymoon."

It was a lovely touch with the Welsh cakes and werthers toffees, although I am now addicted to Welsh cakes! We did have some extra guests with some wasps that were very clever and kept finding their way back inside every time I evicted them and we found they have made a couple of nests in the eves, that you may want to remove for future guests, especially in the summer months. All in all it was a lovely experience so thank you very much and we will definitely be back again in the future

Thanks for your kind comments, I'm really pleased you enjoyed your return to Little Trees. We don't want to harm the wasps or bees that occasionally visit the log cabin but I agree it's a good idea to discourage them, so we are blocking up access holes while they are dormant. We look forward to welcoming you back! Property Owner

Great cleaning job Denise. Thank you Will for milk & Welsh Teacakes. Fantastic location. Everything we needed, we had! There is a deep dip on right side of mattress. Could do with a clock on the wall. Thank you, we will be back again!

Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We have replaced the mattress. Will Property Owner

  • "Great little getaway."

We enjoyed our week at Little Trees. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need. It is, as listed, small (compact), so you have to be quite organised in where you can put things. Nice garden to enjoy the sunshine (!). The location is a bit out of the way, and we had to use the car every day - most of the nice places to visit are west of here.

Cabin has everything you need, great little kitchen, cracking shower and waking up to birdsong just lovely, we hope to return. We looked to see if the following week was available, unfortunately it was booked, we would have loved to stay for two weeks. Brilliant place to unwind and relax.

  • "This really was the relaxing week away we needed in the beautiful little trees log cabin."

It’s fully equipped with everything you need and the cleanliness is outstanding. I do have a couple of recommendations but by no means are they negative the first one is we arrived on the 1st of December so really expected to see some Xmas decorations and the second one is I think replace the portable heater in the living room with a artificial electric log burner to give it that extra tick. We couldn’t be happier with our week away and the constant rain just made us appreciate the cabin even more. Loved it and will definitely be returning.

there was another cottage just the other side of the hedge but you wouldn't know it was there and the wildlife was fantastic. i would go again, no problem.

  • "It was great location a real treat for my wife and i staying in this fully equipped cabin for the week."

A lovely touch was milk and a packet of welch cakes upon our arrival and a welcoming text from the owner. In the evening watching bats, in the morning when the sun came out watching bees and many butterfly species. A big thank you to the owner for a detailed information manual and history of the cabin. Unfortunately, the only drawback was our journey from our home to Wales. The weather wasn’t on our side with torrential rain and being stuck for over five hours on the M40 due to road works and a car accident. Our journey should have taken around 5 hours but took us over 9 hours…we advise if you can avoid the M40 try too. We arrived in Amroth, pitch black no street lights and followed the detailed instructions from the owner (thank you). Despite the bad weather for most of the week my wife and i left feeling much rested and relaxed, and will return to this lovely cabin in the future.

  • "Was a lovely little cabin in the middle of nowhere, perfect for a romantic week away, only downside was the sofa which I personally couldn’t relax on due to such it having a low back, but that might be personal preference."

Wasps started to appear on the last two days in significant number indoors but again your in the countryside so one of those things. All in all I would defo a book it again for a stay

We would sit out side having a coffee watching red kites above see a pair of nut hatches flying around plus the more common garden birds and in the evening have bats flying around Just a perfect quiet place away from it all

Couldn't have been happier. Was really nice the cabin was on its own and not surrounded by other cabins. If we was ever to come back south wales we wouldn't hesitate to book again. Really appreciated the little bottle of milk left for us in the fridge. Didnt have to worry about getting any for the morning coffee. Thanks again.

Beautiful log cabin secluded down a ¼ mile track. Spacious for our needs with TVs, plenty of cooking equipment and washer/dryer. Very comfy bed, we slept like logs. Great walk in shower with plenty of hot water. On the second day, we had a small issue with the hot water, but Will, the owner, was very responsive and soon fixed it. Lovely outdoor seating areas either on the gravel area or sitting on the log cabin porch. Lots of walks close by. What a wonderful stay we had and definitely be back. Highly recommended

  • "Little Trees is a sweet little log cabin and worked well in combination with the larger Pwll Cottage."

It is compact but very well equipped for two people with an excellent walk-in shower When wet, the gate short-cut access to Pwll Cottage garden is a bit treacherous so you have to use the longer route - that could be easily remedied with some gravel over the slippery bit! It is also quite a dark cottage inside with not much of an outlook - if some of the high hedging was dealt with, it really would be nicer still! Generally, it was a good experience - it was very clean, there was a welcoming carton of milk and welsh cakes as well as roses on the table, and the owner very kindly checked that all was well during the week! Very peaceful and calming with just a few rabbits for company!

Thank you for your feedback, we have now added steps down the slope to provide easier access. We have also coppiced the hazel around the cottage Property Owner

This remote hideaway gave us peace and tranquility every evening we returned from our mainly costal walks in the area, using buses 351 & 222 when required. ( we never used the car ) All our needs were cared for with excellent facilities and utensils of plenty. Power shoer was a blessing and an extremely comfortable bed. We will recommend to all and sundry and will return next year.
