  • "A lovely rural setting, surrounded by hills, for a peaceful stay."

The cabin is placed amongst 10 or so others in a place called Kaowood Country Park, should you want to look it up. The inside was very clean and sofas/chair very comfortable, albeit quite a bit dated, is probably reflected in the price, making it excellent value. David, the owner, was very accommodating and I could easily get hold of him. Initially, it was very cold when we arrived as the door isn't sealed that well at the top, but the heaters soon warmed the place up. As there was no WiFi, we resorted to using BT for laptop usage, and the reception was good, when sitting outside on the strategically placed picnic table, but a little intermittent inside. However, in such peaceful scenery, it certainly wasn't a hardship to work in the serene environment and weather was good when we went at the end of March. BT WiFi is £7.99 for 24 hours or £19.99 for 5 days. It's about 30 minutes drive to Tenby, which is a lovely place to visit and about 1 hour drive to St David, the smallest city in Britain, with the charm of a small historic town. The nearest shop, Spar, is about 5 minutes' drive away and Tesco about 20 minutes. Overall, a really lovely stay, which I highly recommend. Thank you.
