  • "We had a lovely holiday."

Weather was mixed but didn’t stop us from getting out and enjoying wonderful scenery. The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had all the facilities you need. Some minor improvements would help. The stair gate was an excellent idea but the lack of a catch of any sort made it unusable. The washing machine wouldn’t work, and the advertised wood burning stove wasn’t there. That was a shame as it was the deciding factor in choosing stables cottage - so it was disappointing that we hadn’t been told in advance that it had been removed. We had a friendly welcome from the owners and the cottage was perfectly sited very close to a great pub. A good choice for a family holiday.

Very friendly hosts who were on hand to help but not intrusive. Kindly provided fruit loaf, Welsh pancakes, tea, coffee, a thoughtful touch. Good pub across the road and easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and other places to visit.

Stable Cottage is also a great base with plenty of space. The open plan downstairs has a well stocked kitchen, dining area and plenty of comfortable seating. The outside space is big and secure so perfect for four legged guests. Julianna and Tim are wonderful hosts, really welcoming and with a wealth of local knowledge. Will definitely be returning as way too much to do in a week!

The cottage was exactly as it was advertised. Everything we needed was there. Tim greeted us on the evening and showed us in but had already sent an informative welcome email with instructions if they weren’t there. Nice little touches of various cakes left for us which the girls loved. Able to get additional extras such as eggs and firewood as we ploughed through the complimentary ones. Only there for a weekend but will definitely be back. Best compliment we can give is we didn’t want to go home! Will be back again. Jamie & Katherine

  • "Friendly hosts."

Cottage had everything that we needed for a warm, comfortable stay ( in February). It was lovely to light the fire in the evenings. Place was clean and very comfortable. We felt very relaxed and the area outside our cottage was secure for our dog to gently stretch his legs off lead. The location was convenient for walks on Tenby and Saundersfoot beaches ( a short drive ). Lots of other interesting areas close too. The nearby pub was dog friendly and served good food.

  • "Had a lovely four days at stable cottage."

The cottage had been decorated with a Christmas tree & a small hamper of Christmas goodies had been left which was greatly appreciated. The cottage was lovely and clean, very well equipped and perfectly situated to enjoy the beaches of Pembrokeshire. Narberth is definitely worth a visit and had a lovely dinner on New Years Eve. Couldn't fault Stable Cottage and would definitely recommend.

The cottage was everything we wanted clean tidy and situated in a lovely area with a great host it was a shame our visit was only a weekend and the kids did not want to go home. We we are looking forward to booking another visit in the future. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit the area.

  • "We had such a lovely stay at Stable Cottage."

We absolutely loved it. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and peaceful. The downstairs area was open and spacious, with a lovely kitchen, dining and lounge area with open fire (the only addition I would suggest would be some tools for the fire and maybe a fire guard), then upstairs were two lovely bedrooms with very comfortable beds and bed linen, plus a great little ensuite and lovely separate family bathroom, which were all lovely and warm and clean. Everything smelt so clean too, considering this is a dog friendly property. Outside there is a lovely enclosed gravelled courtyard with furniture, much bigger than it looks in the photos. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good enough for us to sit outside, but it was perfect for our two dogs and would be a fantastic outdoor space when the weather is better. Templeton is a lovely little village and so well positioned for exploring all that wonderful Pembrokeshire has to offer, including Narberth, which is only about 5 minutes up the road and has some lovely unique gift shops and quality food shops too. Tim, the owner, was so welcoming and lovely and helpful. We really couldn't recommend highly enough and hope to be back one day soon. Thank you Tim and Julianna for such lovely stays.

The property itself was very clean and had clearly been renovated recently to a high standard. The location of the property was ideal with only a 10 minute drive to several attractions and beach towns. We have already booked our next stay. My family and I would highly recommend this property!
