  • "This is a great property situated in a most convenient location only a short walk from the local convenience store, pubs and within walking distance of the harbour and surrounding amenities."

The house is well equipped and nicely furnished with a very homely feel. We have an electric car and the charging point was very useful. We would certainly be happy to return and will recommend it to family and friends.

  • "The house had a great layout, good quality furnishings, comfy beds and great bathrooms."

Personally I would remove all the hangings in the front room, as these just reduce the natural light. The back garden has too much clutter, e.g. pots, tanks and raised borders. As the grass was uncut it made it all a bit claustrophobic. However, we really enjoyed our stay, and would certainly book again.

  • "We had a great stay, loved the house and it delivered on all of our expectations."

The only very small bit of feedback would that it should be highlighted in the listing that it's a smart TV only with no terrestrial channels...otherwise it was a excellent base to explore the very beautiful area of Newport...

Thank you for the great review. Live Terrestrial TV is available through the relevant apps, ie the BBC IPlayer gives live BBC 1, 2, 3, 4. Property Owner

Really well maintained, has everything you’d need. The beautiful garden is a great place to relax and enjoy the view, plus its pet secure. We’ll definitely be back next year!!

  • "Ideally situated on a new build development, in a great location to explore the coastline and nearby hill walking."

Beautiful house, well equipped and although other houses are close by it was very peaceful and calm. The garden whilst not huge is beautifully kept and our dog loved laying on the lawn. The house is fully equipped with all the items you would need for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were lovely, slept really well. Being a new build the house is well insulated and the underfloor heating is very effective indeed. There are several quality pubs and cafes nearby in Newport which are well worthy of a visit. Newport beach is a pleasant 30 minute stroll along the River Nevern. Probably worthy of note if you are travelling from a distance there is only a small Spar Shop for groceries in Newport itself, the nearest larger supermarkets are in Cardigan, so probably advised to stop on your way if you require anything more than essentials, having said that the local whole food shop is very well stocked. As mentioned everything you need is ‘walkable’. A wonderful stay, thank you.

  • "Lovely property a short stroll from Newport Village."

The house had everything you could need for your stay, kitchen was well equipped, lovely, clean towels and bed linen (only one set of towels for the week though). Super King bed was comfortable, carpets were new and clean throughout. Parking for 2 cars, open plan garden ant the front (did mean we ended up picking up another dog’s mess from the front garden though :-( ) Overall a lovely stay, we would definitely have no hesitation in returning. Ideally located to enjoy the village, the beach and local amenities. Plenty of dog friendly choices to eat/drink. The local area is beautiful and worth exploring. We would recommend.
