  • "This is the most wonderful place."

It has everything we could ask for. We have been fortunate to stay in Nevern House since it first became available and have already booked for next year. It has every comfort and is spotlessly clean. Derick and Rhiannon, the owners, have thought of everything possible to make Nevern House a lovely house and an ideal holiday home. They are always helpful if needed. Thoroughly recommend it.

It was so spacious and so many tvs so everyone could if they wanted to go watch their own TV but we didn't as spent so much time in the games room it had 2 floors with something for everyone including adults. We enjoyed a bbq using the built in bbq sitting in the peaceful garden was so relaxing. As for the owner shes been amazing from start to finish very helpful if you had any questions she would reply straight back . We enjoyed it so much we came home and found out the owner has more properties in the area we book another one of her next week and she's already been very helpful with this one . From nigel and family.

Lucky with the weather so enjoyed the garden and the BBQ as well as walks up Cairningli and to the Blue Stone Brewery and the beach! The property is beautifully equipped and our host Rhiannon was super helpful without being intrusive - the perfect mix! We will be back :)

  • "Nevern House was exceptional in every way in terms of cleanliness, comfort, space, activity, kitchen space and equipment."

The property was a long weekend hire to celebrate a family birthday. The family loved it. Both adults and children alike spent much of the time in the games room playing pool, table tennis, and table football. Had they been fitness fanatics there was a variety of serious fitness equipment. The table tennis however, was so successful that 9yr old grandson is now planning to join his school table tennis club. Finally, a quote from my very excited 6yr old grandson as he walked into the house ‘for the first time ‘WOW, this is my best day ever, this is the best holiday house ever.’ We all echoed his great enthusiasm. The house certainly has the WOW factor.

It is beautiful, immaculately clean, has everything you could ever want and more. The downstairs accommodation was perfect especially for my mum who only stayed a couple of days. My son loved the games room which is ideal if the weather is bad. It certainly has the WOW factor. We are so glad that Rhiannon and Derick received an award, so well deserved. We love Newport and love walks down to the parrog. There are plenty of places to eat and the butchers offers really good produce. Rhiannon and Derick are a lovely couple and really show how much they care for their house and their guests. Can’t wait to go back soon we hope. I didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this beautiful house to stay in. Mr and Mrs Williams.

It exceeded my expectations. Everything we needed was there and the downstairs living accommodation was perfect for my disabled mum. It was so beautifully clean and tidy. The outdoor games room was so much fun and an added bonus. The house is so spacious and had rooms for all of us. Beautiful location and so close to all the local shops, restaurants, and the Parrog. We got the opportunity to meet the owner Rhiannon who was so welcoming and friendly. We knew if we needed anything she was close by, but wasn’t intrusive in any way. Will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to all. Rhiannon and Derik thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful nevern house. Diolch yn fawr. The Williams Family

We have holidayed here each year and it always lives up to our expectations. Thank you again. As to Sykes company I do feel that as we book again for the following year prior to our holiday we miss out on £40 voucher emailed to us for the next holiday booked with you. I hope that it can be addressed so that amount can be deducted for our visit next year to Nevern House. This happened before too so this email is justified as' valued' customers.

Very well equipped (possibly in need of some short glasses for whiskeys)! The kettle lid broke and I messaged the owners and we came home to a new kettle on the door step! The boys thought the games room was amazing and enjoyed the playing in the lovely big garden. Honestly one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in, great location for some fun days out and fabulous beaches (which we spent every day on a different one while the boys spent a good 4 hours in the sea) We would 100% stay here again if we were planning to stay in the area!

Everything we needed or could have ever needed was there. The property was spotless on arrival, the owners were fabulous, they live opposite and are very much on hand if you need anything, but donor bother you at all. The house has been renovated to a fabulous standard, is absolutely gorgeous inside and out and very homely and comfortable. It really has the wow factor when you walk through the door! Very comfortable beds, enough bathrooms and showers and space for everyone. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to make a great Welsh breakfast, a spot of lunch or a lovely evening meal. Cannot recommend this house enough, fabulous location within walking distance of everything in the village. We had the most amazing week and will defiantly be booking to return.

There was only 3 of us but very spacious for 8 people. A fantastic extension with kitchen dining with a lovely garden view. The weather wasn't warm so we didn't open the doors to the patio, we loved retiring to the snug in the evening and lighting the log fire. The house was so well equipped. I wasn't sure whether to take a hairdryer, but there was one in every bedroom. We wanted for nothing, and Rhiannon and Derick were helpful from start to finish. 5*****

The kitchen/living area was beautiful and the whole house was lovely and warm, loved the underfloor heating! We had lots of fun in the games room too (which was also lovely and warm), playing pool, table tennis and darts. Location was excellent with a number of fantastic cafes, pubs and restaurants in walking distance. Two beaches you could walk to and some nice circular walks from the house too.
