  • "Lovely stay lovely cottage owners very helpful when needed"

Thank you very much. Hope you had a safe journey home. I hope you would like to return some time in the future to continue exploring lovely Pembrokeshire. Property Owner

  • "No complaimts."

Just 2 positive suggestions. The bathroom would benefit from some shelves to put visitors toiletries on. The area of the asdvertised Summer House was overgrown.

Thank you for your suggestions and we will look into actioning them. So pleased you had a pleasant stay. Property Owner

  • "Excellent.Spacious, comfortable cottage extremely well equipped."

Lovely gardens both around the property and across the road. Delightful hamlet on the outskirts of the village where neighbouring gardens and roadside green spaces are well tended.Character pub at the other end of the village serving good meals.

Thank you, we are so pleased that you had a lovely holiday. Property Owner

  • "Great, well located cottage."

Yes it was by main road, but we knew that in advance and it wasn’t a problem and meant it was easy to get anywhere. Loads of varied walks within a 10 mile radius. Lovely gardens. Owners were around and friendly and helpful. Did feel the hot water in bathroom wasn’t great. In particular never managed a bath despite following instructions, couldn’t get a bath full of hot water. Shower was fine though.

Very handy location for several trips and days out.

  • "The property was beautiful, unfortunately it should have said it was on a main road and it should have been made clear that neighbours were only a driveway width away."

although fortunately, this did not impact on our holiday. looking at the photographs gives a different impression of Otter cottage location a much more rural one. However we did enjoy our stay.

  • "The property is perfect for a disabled person in need of a wheelchair."

It is all on one level and is very spacious. The furnishings are homely and comfortable and it is well equipped. There is a lovely unusual garden across the road and a stream and small garden behind the cottage. It is just a pity it is situated on a busy road, however it is very well placed for getting to the coast and nearby towns.

  • "Marion and Alistair were friendly attentive hosts who couldn’t have done more to make our stay welcoming."

The house itself is well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The Wi-Fi/Internet speed is good. The gardens both around the house and across the road are well kept. It’s a short 17mins walk to the nearby beach. There is plenty to do in the area. Amongst others, we enjoyed the Dyfed Shire horse centre, the coastal path and Fish&Chips at Hooked@31 in Fishguard. Its also worth walking up the hill behind the house for some great evening views.

  • "When we arrived on the first night the boiler had developed a fault and so no hot water was available."

However we where able to contact the owners within an hour and they had their plumber come round first thing on a Sunday morning to resolve the issues. This comment isn't aimed as a complaint regarding the lack of hot water for the first night (luckily there was an electric shower) but more a commendation on how quickly the issue was resolved.

  • "Big property, well equipped."

Bed is extremely comfy! Bedroom backs onto main rd so traffic can be noisy. There is no phone signal in the property, you have to walk up the road. There is good fast internet . Settee is 1970s and uncomfy. Garden summer house by pond is quirky. Excellent shop nearby and pat's fish and chips were delicious. Would stay again.

  • "Shower could do with a little work."

The electric one didn't really work, the one straight from the bath was fine, but there was nothing to attach it to on the wall. Internet connection was a little slow or would drop off. But all small things, accomodation was generally excellent. . Sorting the shower out would take a lot of work.
