"Really lovely position and a delightful outlook with very good facilities."
10 out of 10!

"The house is a little off the beaten track but in a great position - very peaceful and with wonderful views down to the sea from the lounge, dining room and terrace."
Our friend's dog loved the space to run around in the little wood and field. It's also in a great position for walks along the coast or the surrounding countryside. It was one of the best equipped houses we've stayed in - big pans for catering, plenty of empty cupboards to put your own food in etc. Once we are back 'home' for the day, we like to stay put with a glass of wine and good meal and we could enjoy the evening light over the bay whilst eating. There were plenty of games and jigsaws too for a wet day - thankfully we didn't have many of those!

"A lovely house in a beautiful setting."
What a view to wake up to and what a stunning hilltop vista for a sunset (assuming the Welsh sun comes out at any point!) The house is great for a large group while the spacious kitchen can become a dance floor when preparing your celebratory family supper.

"From the moment we arrived we were thrilled with every aspect of Pen Y Myndd."
The property itself is beautiful, solid stone, with huge and bountiful spaces to gather, relax, eat and take a moment in. Everything you may require is thought of, and the utilities and gadgets are all top notch. The grounds are wonderful to discover, from woods, pastures, spongey, spongey lawns and orchards….. AND THEN THERE IS THE VIEW!!!! From the drive up, to the terrace, from many windows, from the garden, the view is just breathtaking… which leads on to the sunsets. So many stunning pictures taken, but none truly captured the beauty. Just to sit and ponder that ever changing vista and light. It felt like an inner reset button and been pushed.

"We had a lovely time staying at Pen Y Mynydd."
The house has everything you need and more. The outdoors is perfect for children and safe to explore. The access is by a steep and single lane track but we had no difficulties, even managing an Asda online food delivery as we arrived. The wooden stairs to the lounge took a bit to get used to , need to take extra care especially the kids. Plenty games to play, of which Chameleon is a must.

"Bery nice place to stay, with a beautiful view to wake up to."
Host very approachable. Plenty of space for everyone. Only one suggestion to go forward, it would be great to have a designated space to have a fire outside, but we are not complaining as we were content with the lovely fireplace inside.

"We were a large family party with young children."
The location and layout particularly suited our needs as young early risers could be taken to the front living area not disturbing the rest of the family. The children loved the outside areas for playing in safety. The house was really well equipped with quality items covering every need. The only problem we found was the hot water wasn’t capable of coping with large numbers so we had to boost the hot water frequently to cover our needs. All in all we had a fabulous time together.

"A true home from home!"
Beautifully & tastefully presented. Kitchen is equipped to a v high standard & with quality pots, pans, cutlery. A plethora of glasses, cups on display on large shelves in a modern way. Small detail like these make all the difference. Kettle good quality etc...! The house is steeped in tradition, yet has really modern, practical touches. The house has been given a lot of love by the owners. Bedrooms are decorated to real country comfortable style. The outdoors areas are enchanting. Lots of bird life too around in the abundance of trees / garden grounds ..... Great for bird watchers! Views are wonderful. Lots of great walking to be had and explored all around the Pem coast. Dogs had an amazing time and were safe in the confines of the grounds.

"A fantastic property with a fabulous view."
Very well equipped and everything you could want is catered for. Lovely grounds to explore - I just wish we had longer there for the children to make use of the walks through the woods and fields. Highly recommended.
