  • "This was our second stay at Ty Caio ."

The house was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable - definitely a home from home. It is situated in a quiet, residential area, and the neighbours were all friendly. Newport is a great holiday base with lovely walks and beaches all easily accessible. There are plenty of places to eat - the Golden Lion and the Castle Inn were excellent and breakfast at Blas at Fronlas was also great. Llys y Fran was a lovely visit as were Cardigan and Poppit Sands. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ty Caio, it was home from home comfort, very clean, well equipped and a good location as near the village centre for eating out and walks."

Very comfortable beds, good sized bedrooms and bathroom. The only thing we didn't like was the tiny basin in the large bathroom - same size as downstairs cloakroom, totally inadequate. The instructions for using the TV in the house handbook are out of date and refer to a previous system.

  • "The house is clean and modern, tastefully decorated and very well equipped."

There is a good garden area. It’s a lovely quiet street a short (if steep!) walk to town. Only improvements to suggest for the future would be a smart tv and an electric car charger. Newport itself has a good selection of pubs and a few gift shops etc. The Pembrokeshire coastline is beautiful with some great beaches. We had a great holiday staying at Ty Caio and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

  • "Immaculate nearly new-build property which was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our family of three."

  • "Lovely, clean, modern property in an enviable location in Newport."

Especially liked the peace and quiet and the lovely sunny back garden. Our only negatives were the Non supply of Towels/even Tea Towels. We have stayed in loads of cottages over the years and have never had to supply our own before. They are bulky to pack, there is enough washing to do on return, yes, could've washed them there, but no Tumble Dryer at property and too risky to leave out due to weather.

Standard of cleanliness and maintenance at the house was the best we've ever experienced! We look forward to staying in this lovely house again in the future.

  • "Cottage was uncomfortaby warm and stuffy in the hot weather."

We followed the advice to keep the boiler switched off except when hot water needed but we still found it too hot and difficult to get any air flow through the bedrooms at night so not much sleep was had. The neighbours (who are residents) had similar problems although they said the houses are cosy in the winter, so assume its a characteristic of the new build "eco" design. Probably all ok in a "normal weather" week. Otherwise it was excellent in all regards. Perhaps some more pyrexware of a size that would fit in the microwave?

  • "Family holiday with 3 yr old toddler."

We had a lovely stay at Ty Caio. House is modern, clean and well equipped. It would benefit from more clothes drying facilities, there was only one small washing line and a light weight clothes dryer. Well insulated house so was really warm during our stay!! So we had the boiler off for the whole stay except for showers and washing dishes. Surrounding village is lovely, quiet but had everything close by; pubs, Spar, restaurants. Cardigan Bay approx 20 mins travel, Tenby approx 1 hour.

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Ty Caio."

The house itself is immaculate with everything you could possibly need, very grateful for even the tin foil for my little ones sandwiches! The house is in a lovely convenient location in a peaceful street, which is walking distance to the Parrog and shops. Will certainly be booking again.

  • "A cracker of a holiday home, great parking for 2 cars on the driveway, a few minutes walk to the shops, pubs, restaurants."

Parrog in walking distance. Comfortable beds & lovely cotton bedding. Good size fridge/freezer. The cleanest holiday house that I have ever stayed at - thank you to whoever cleans it. Two young boys enjoyed the secure garden area & plenty of outdoor furniture for everyone. A great holiday home.
