  • "Llwyncadfor farm was outstanding."

Me and my family hired this beautiful farm house for Christmas and from the moment we arrived we loved it. The home is very spacious, lots of history about the property and the owner is very friendly and helpful and if you have any problems or enquiries he gets in touch straight away. We loved the large dining table to seat all 12 of us, the wood burners and the games room was a bit hit. The projector was used every day to watch films, the enclosed garden was loved by our dogs. We would 100% recommend to anyone who is thinking of booking, we would love to come back again in the future. Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful home.

The property

Situated in the heart of Welsh countryside, four miles from the thriving town of Newcastle Emlyn, is Llwyncadfor Farm.

This beautiful farmhouse is perfect for touring the West Wales coast with your family and friends, offering spacious accommodation to return to at the end of each day.

The cottage is built from limestone, awarding a traditional look and feel of lime render throughout.

Low beams, slate floors and natural, uneven walls add to this experience.

Park your car safely outside and step through the stable door into the dining room.

Here, you can gather for a celebratory, home-cooked meal and get cosy by the woodburning stove.

The galley-style kitchen offers a country-cottage feel, displaying a fabulous range cooker, integrated with modern fixtures.

There is a utility housing a washing machine and tumble dryer, and then a cloakroom for convenience.

The adults of the group can exchange stories over a bottle of wine, wrapped around the woodburner in the sitting room.

The kids can watch their favourite TV programmes across the hall, or enjoy a game of table football and fun on the Nintendo Wii up in the games room.

Upstairs there are six bedrooms leading from the split-level staircase over two floors, as well as two bathrooms with deep-soaking bath tubs and separate shower cubicles.

Outside is a fully enclosed garden, safe for the children to run around on a warm summer's day.

Newcastle Emlyn boasts shops, tea rooms and pubs, as well as the ruins of its grand castle and fishing available.

Explore a wide variety of attractions including, Cenarth Falls, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park and train rides at Henllan.

There are some wonderful sandy beaches and plenty of walking opportunities.
