  • "Just spent 5 night at this wonderful cosy little place."

Owners where so welcoming and very helpful. The guest house was perfect for our needs close to the beach and local shops. Many places to drive to in the area. Lovely little pub across the road that always makes you feel welcome and the food was amazing. Will definitely be booking again if just myself and my wife. Thanks again for a wonderful week.

Thank you for your feedback, glad you enjoyed your stay, look forward to seeing you again. Property Owner

  • "The property is a mid terraced former hotel."

It is stated that the beach is close by,but in fact it is three miles. There are no local amenities as stated in the brochure It was unfortunate that road works were being carried out outside the property and parking was a nightmare on a narrow street.

Thank you for your feedback. The cottage that you stayed in used to be the village shop not a former hotel. There is more than one beach in the area, maybe you went to the wrong one. The road outside is a main road not a narrow street. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Adeline cottage."

The owners were lovely. Their homegrown salad was very tasty. A good basic base to start holiday from. The local people were friendly and chatty. Loved loved the beach and country park very interesting. Our only concern is Adeline cottage being called dog friendly when there are clear instructions as to what limitations are on the dog. Our dog is a well behaved dog and we didn’t feel relaxed about the signage. However, I do understand the reasoning behind it. The shower bracket needs looking at it is loose. That said, it was lovely, thank you. We would come back - great place.

Thank you for your feedback, don't understand what you mean by dog limitations Property Owner

The property

Well-positioned in the Carmarthenshire village of Pembrey is Adeline, a lovely, two-bedroom holiday home.

Within walking distance to the shoreline, a hub of amenities and attractions, whilst resting near the bustling town of Llanelli, Adeline offers a wonderful base for a self-catered stay; couples, friends and families are all invited, along with two furry companions.

Park up on the roadside before heading indoors, firstly reaching the spacious living/dining room; here you can unwind after a day of travelling, before making use of the compact yet well-equipped kitchen.

Prepare delicious meals to enjoy as a four around the dining table or bask in your surroundings by taking advantage of the shared, suntrap patio.

As day turns into night, climb the stairs to reach a well-appointed double, and a delightful twin, offering plenty of space to rest, ahead of awakening to a refreshing shower, found in the ground-floor bathroom.

Be sure to tour the village for your local amenities, where you'll find several convenience stores, whilst dine out options include the Pembrey Country Inn, Ship Aground Pembrey, and the Pantri Lolfa coffee shop.

Grab your walking boots and head for the country park, or follow the nearby Millennium Cycle Path, whilst Burry Port West Beach and marina are nearby for coastal vistas; those seeking adventure will also enjoy a visit to the Pembrey Ski and Activity Centre, offering the chance to ski, surfboard and tube your way through the afternoon.

Travelling inland, enjoy tours of Kidwelly Castle / Castell Cydweli, set on an elevated position, offering stunning, rural views, before heading to the quay, popular for bird watching and scenic walking routes.

By car, reach Llanelli, recommended to hike through the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre, enjoy a beach day at the local shoreline, or discover the Parc Howard Museum, before heading to Parc Y Scarlets for a fixture of rugby games; the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the bustling city of Swansea, and the Brecon Beacons National Park are all within reach, making Adeline a wonderful base.
