"Not up to the standard we were expecting."
Poor beds, cheap unironed, crumpled bedding. Distance to beach misleading on the map. Issues with the ensuite shower too hot then too cold Plus side lovely and warm and we had lovely weather.

"This was a wonderful holiday, the lodge was beautiful and everything was spotless."
Our little one loved it that much he didn’t want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be staying there again.

"Lovely accomodation."
Very well equiped and comfortable. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. Many thanks

"The lodge was amazing, so comfortable and clean, bright and spacious ."
everything you needed was supplied including comfortable furniture out on the decking to relax on. instruction booklets were supplied for everything in the lodge except the combined washer/dryer (having never used one before I wasn't able to use the machine provided-but as I was on holiday I decided the washing could wait anyway lol)) the lodge is situated just metres away from main reception, and a very short walk to the local shops and takeaways. Also just a few minutes walk to the arcade and swimming pool and the main Club house where we enjoyed the entertainment provided and even had a game of bingo. The beach is wonderful and just over a 5 minute walk from the lodge, and if you've got a car then take a trip into Tenby itself for a great day out, it's beautiful. I'd definataly stay here again and have recommended it already to others. The owner-Elaine sent me a welcome message on our journey to the lodge explaining everything and it gave us assurance too that she was available if we had any concerns or problems during out stay, but we didn't as the holiday and the lodge was perfect.

"A lovely lodge but it was badly let down by the House Keeping."
We booked a 3 bed lodge so we could choose where to sleep, only the main bed was made up, the other singles were left unmade and nothing like the photos shown on line, it also looked like it had not been cleaned as it had hair and dust everywhere, we had to hoover ourselves. The on-suite shower was constantly running hot so you risked burning yourself also the rubber strip from the shower door was broken and just left propped up in the shower. The Lodge unfortunately borders a main road, which is used as a race track, there is another road along the other side of it and a foot path for the park running along the front of the lodge, so whenever people came back from the pub/show bar late at night it could be quite noisy, not ideal as this set the dog off barking. The decking was a lovely sun trap and furniture nice to sit out on but on the whole we were disappointed as this is not Sykes usual standard.

"This property was a very luxurious lodge."
It was a pleasure to stay here. All facilities worked very well and heating and cooking facilities easy to use. Comfortable beds and great to have the bath in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

"We had a week away with the furbabies in this fabulous property."
A caravan on steroids! We received clear communication and instructions from the owner prior to arrival which was welcome. The property was spotlessly clean and contained everything we needed in terms of crockery, utensils, bedding etc. Beautifully decorated and furnished and clearly loved. A perfect location for Pendine beach which was no more than a five minute stroll.

"Really beautiful lodge."
Fabulous facilities, in fact everything you could want for your holiday. Very clean and tidy. Ideal spot for long beach walks only 400m away! The TV had free digital TV channels and was connected to owner Wi-Fi so we could connect Netflix etc. Plenty of parking and was in a very quiet spot, even though next to the road. Only minor let down was the tough process to get onto the paid park connect Wi-Fi. Constantly dropped out throughout the stay. Had to call IT support several times.

"Not a great start when a few weeks before my stay I noticed the listing had been altered, Sykes advised to contact the owner direct with my question which was completely ignored."
Beach is listed as 0.1 mile - it’s half a kilometre and when you have all the gear needed for a family of 5 to enjoy the day still needed to take the car. 4 out of the 7 days the main part of the beach was closed by the MOD - this possibility is not mentioned so any idea of walking the length was impossible during most days. Finger marks on the telly along with a layer of dust on top and not sure any of the skirtings had ever been cleaned. Beautifully designed bedrooms having bedding that doesn’t match the curtains? But finally the towels are tiny - not expecting Egyptian cotton bath sheets but a towel that at least fits around me - and I’m not a large person. TV worked but not the Wi-Fi

"Great lodge, however the tv relies on the wifi and has no aerial, this means that only streaming services can be enjoyed."
The wifi currently onsite is not good enough or stable enough to enjoy streaming services consistently. The property would also benefit from upgraded patio furniture.

"I spent two days of my holiday cleaning up water from a leak in bathroom."
Three days people turned up to try to fix it early in morning. They sent me a bottle of wine. I was expecting a significant discount on price paid
So sorry about the inconvenience caused by a leak underneath the shower. The maintenance guys came as soon as they could to your call of an emergency. The plumber fixed the problem of the outside pipe. We sent down fresh towels and a bottle of Cava and offered you an ex gratia payment. We thank you for your feedback and hope to see you again. "Had a lovely stay."
Beautiful accommodation. Owner and local contacts very helpful. Close to beach, nice quiet location and lovely walks. Accommodation is close to main road but it is a very quiet main road and didn’t cause us an issue. Veranda is a sun trap and lovely to relax on. Our only issue was with the WiFi. Struggled with connectivity the whole stay. Would definitely recommend and have already rebooked. A little gem.

"We had a lovely time at the paddocks the property was everything it said, apart from the location, we were surprised how near the main road we were."
-
"Totally lovely lodge, ideally placed for beach."
Clean and tidy and Tesco found us too ! Also a great day out with the kids at Folly Farm is recommended. Elaine was great with any questions I asked and answered promptly which was a big help. Just a couple of suggestions: Another baking tray would be great. Plus a little more information about local area and the site, for example, a site map would be great and how to book swimming, which we did. We had a fab time !

"Had an extremely chilled week at the Paddock Everything you need for a home from home experience is provided."
Beaches are excellent, especially for families and fur babies, different parts of the beach are allocated to both. Local community are very friendly, plenty of different places to eat. Tenby was a beautiful place to visit.

"Absolutely lovely holiday lodge, spacious and with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable home away from home."
Gorgeous beach and perfect base location to explore the local coastal towns in both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. To top it off a very welcoming and lovely owner. We look forward to visiting again in the future. Amal and family x

About the location
PENDINE
Tenby 15 miles.
A delightful seaside village with a seven mile stretch of sandy beach, famous in its history for car racing and speed record attempts. The fateful car ‘Babs’, the driver of which was killed in one of the many speed record attempts, was buried in the sands for many years, but has now been dug up, restored and is often in the local museum for all to admire. Even the famous Amy Johnson used these perfect flat sands to take off on one of her many record flights. Steeped in history, these sands are perfect all year round, whether sunbathing, swimming and kite flying. With local pubs and restaurants serving good food, a café, a grocery shop and gift shops, Pendine is the perfect seaside village. Pendine is also home to the recently built Land of Speeds MUseum, which can be found on Pendine Promenade; the land speed record was actually broken on Pendine's beach, too! Nearby, the attractions range from Dylan Thomas' famous boathouse, where he penned so many of his literary masterpieces, castles, more sandy beaches, hidden coves and the vibrant seaside resort of Tenby, with Caldey Island and the majestic monastery a short boat trip away. A stunning location for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
