5 Customer Reviews

  • "Had a brilliant week at Canllefaes Cottages."

The cottage, pool, grounds, playground etc were all wonderfully maintained - credit to the owners for always keeping everything picture perfect. Our kids (5 and 8 years old) would have happily spent each day just playing around the cottages, so there’s plenty to keep the young ones happy. The location is within easy reach of Cardigan and a number of lovely beaches (our personal favourite was Mwnt Beach).

  • "Beautiful and relaxing place to spend your holidays."

Our dog loved it almost as much as us (when we weren't in the heated outdoor swimming pool or hot tub)!! Would defo recommend this "home from home" cottage, for good memories and chilled out times.

  • "This has been our best holiday ever."

Every picture the summary of the bungalow does not do it justice. The maintenance of the property is top notch and so are the grounds. The pool is disabled friendly it has steps and is lovely and warm. Both pool and hot tub is tested daily this gives peace of mind. There is a Sunday car boot right opposite the lane if you like car boots!!.Claire and Jamie are brilliant nothing is to much. It’s like going to far flung heaven then you leave and come back down to earth. The beaches in the are safe and dog friendly and so is the bungalow with a dog field which is secure. The towns do operate Sunday closure and half day Wednesday. There are loads of big supermarkets close by. This place is amazing and if. you want a relaxing holiday this is the place, and totally disabled friendly and a full working kitchen.

  • "We booked the cottage on the Friday evening and arrived on the Saturday and we were delighted with what we found, a beautiful cottage in a very well kept small complex of converted farm buildings."

It was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was a great addition. All in all a great find.

Beyond the nautical blue walls rests a splendid, open-plan living area, a lovely space where all can gather to enjoy a show on the TV or a moment by the fire.

Cardigan 3.3 miles. A cluster of seven former farm buildings make up this welcoming and comfortable group of properties, set amongst slightly undulating, landscaped gardens. These delightful properties are set back, down a short lane yet close to the main coast road, on the edge of Penparc village and less than three miles from the popular market town of Cardigan. These superb holiday cottages have been transformed from their original use and have been lovingly furnished with a view, making your stay as relaxing as it can be. All cottages offer well-equipped kitchens, welcoming sitting areas, woodburning stoves (except for Pen-y-Bryn and Byre) and WiFi, plus three even boast the added luxury of a private hot tub. Great care has been taken to accommodate people with varying needs, with five of the properties being on one level and two have been furnished for guests with limited mobility. All cottages have shared use of an inviting outdoor heated swimming pool available from the start of May until mid-September, as well as communal lawned grounds, BBQ area, a play field, children’s play area and a laundry room with use of two washing machines and a tumble dryer. The village of Penparc has two petrol stations, both with a small shop and off licence, plus these rural cottages benefit from being surrounded by the stunning West Wales countryside, with the nearby town of Cardigan providing shops, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle, and Cardigan Bay has small harbour towns and National Trust owned beaches. A short drive away is the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with its stunning sandy beaches and the wonderful Preseli Mountains. With many places to visit, there’s plenty of choice when planning your fabulous days out in West Wales. Canllefaes Holiday Cottages is a perfect group of cottages, ideal for couples, families, friends, or groups to get away from it all, but be within a short drive from the coast and beautiful sandy beaches.
