  • "It is a lovely cottage with great views to the rear."

The road to the front can be a little noisy first thing in the morning but not a great problem. The cottage is purpose built and is in good condition with most mod cons. The two ensuites to the bedrooms are a bonus. The cottage is in a good location to visit many lovely Welsh towns. Hay on Wye Market is a must and Talfarth is quaint and small but has an amazing butcher/deli and greengrocers/general convenience store. I would highly recommend a stay and would return.

Pleased that you had a lovely stay and would welcome you back anytime. Property Owner

View of the Black Mountains was impressive. The owners live on site and were there to greet us and make us welcome. Would return again.

Thank you for the lovely feedback. We are pleased that you had a great time and we hope to welcome you back at some time in the future. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful setting but next to very noisy road, day and night."

Very few ‘extras’! One j cloth for all possible cleaning and washing up, no small supplies of salt, pepper, sugar etc which we usually find in your properties. Helpful owner when we asked but they were away for first 2 days. Very little local info except walks, none on shops and eating out. Disappointing but the night sky was brilliant!

Really sorry that you did not enjoy your break ,despite all our efforts to make you comfortable ,in the very hot and sunny weather. However, the great weather gave you an opportunity to appreciate our super scenery and fabulous dark-night skies. Property Owner

  • "Sunny Cottage was just that - we sat on the patio in the sun, looking over the Black Mountains and fields with sheep and their lambs, reading a book and drinking a cup of tea - it was a bit early for wine!"

Lots of interesting places to go nearby. Cottage very clean and the owner was friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback. Great to meet you all and hopefully we will see you again. Property Owner
