Plenty of space and lovely areas to sit and relax. Lovely views from the bedrooms too. The location was perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire and great to be close to Newgale beach. We loved it!

  • "Another great house booked through Sykes."

This one was spacious and comfortable enough for 6 adults. We only had 2 nights but it was the perfect base to explore West Wales. The pub (3 min walk) served good food and their own brewed ales. The kitchen was so well equipped, really impressed. A nice touch was the dart board in the one lounge area. We came without pets but nice to know it's dog friendly with dog treats/bags for a potential future stay. Thanks for a great stay.

Thank you for your honest review . So glad you enjoyed your stay . Property Owner

Great location with a pub serving great food just a 5 min walk away of you don't fancy cooking. We could of easily stayed for another week and not been bored. We will be 100% returning soon. Thanks for such a fantastic stay and should be proud of your property. We have stayed in many over the years and yours has been the best.

Thank you so much for a lovely review and so happy you enjoyed your stay . We have put our heart and sole into it for people to enjoy . Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this house."

It is fully equipped and feels like traveling from to home. Very spacious and can easily fit 6-7 people in. All instructions were clear, hosts were in contact with us and happy to help, beds were comfortable, loved the huge fridge and two living rooms. We stayed with two small dogs and thought from photos that the garden was secured but there is no fence on one side, had to keep the dogs on leads. Also there is no footpath to Newgale beach, we had to drive to the beach instead of walking, It’s just 5 min drive. Most places around have no footpaths. Supermarkets are 10-15 away by car. Easy to get to Solva & St.Davids.

Thank you for your response . As you rightly say the garden is not fenced totally off but in the listing it doesn’t say it is . There is a newly linked footpath to Newgale just down the road by the lay-by on the opposite side of the Victoria pub , sorry you didn’t get to use that . Again thank you for taking the time to write a response Property Owner

  • "A large and comfortable house which easily accommodated 4 adults , 3 children and a small dog."

Very well equipped, there was nothing lacking. The area is very nice with friendly neighbours and easy access to the beaches , walks and attractions. You need transport and some of the roads are very narrow with passing places , care is needed. Considering it's school holidays , parking at the various locations was relatively easy ( having the app helps ) . There are lovely coastal walks but these are strenuous and probably not suited to those with disabilities. St David's is lovely. The supermarkets for stocking up are all at Haverfordwest which is about 20 minutes drive. Most people seemed to be here for the watersports, our boys certainly were , without any significant problems. Investing in wetsuits is a good idea. A lovely stay , thanks to the owners for providing a comfortable and spacious home and allowing us to share it.

Thank you for the lovely feedback and so happy you enjoyed your stay . Very accurate details of area . Property Owner

It's set in such a good place for exploring. Plenty of beaches ( Newgale however not wheelchair accessible). I can't wait to return! Thank you xx

Thank you so much for the lovely review . Yes Newgale isn’t good for wheelchairs due to its natural flood defence. Glad you had a lovely time . Property Owner

  • "This property is perfect for short or long breaks away with everything you need."

The beaches not to far away and a pub within walking distance with fantastic food and real ales. And just across the road in the lay-by is a new footpath leading you down towards newgale beach.
