  • "What a beautiful hidden gem."

The coach house went above and beyond our expectations. Cosy place with plenty to explore around local area. Short distance to Broad haven beach. Beautifully maintained by the owner a real home from home. Highly recommended we hope to rebook again. Place was spotless and the owner was on hand if you needed to ask anything. Bed was so comfy and nice to sleep Definitely book here if you are looking for a cozy place to spend time in this lovely part of the country

Dear MJ, Thank you for your feedback, we can confirm a new toilet seat is arriving tomorrow Thursday 19th September. The communal gardens outside of our private garden areas are generally kept to very high standards however we have passed on your concerns to the gardening contractors who visit weekly. • "A beautiful , clean and well equipped holiday cottage ideally located close to the coast and other places of interest to explore in Pembrokeshire ."

. The welcome pack ( including doggy treats ) was appreciated :-) . Surrounded by peaceful gardens in a rural location . I loved my stay in The Coach House and will surely be back ! PS , , Any chance you could install a little woodburning stove for winter stays ? This would he the ideal cherry on the cake !!

Dear AJ, Lovely review thank you :) We are considering installation of a log burner, the current electric burner isn't quite the same as the real thing but does give instantaneous heat even in the depths of winter along with a realistic flame effect. In the meantime should you wish to book into the winter season we are more than happy to leave a box of Cherry Bakewell's :) which are the next best thing! Thank you again for staying at Coach House Regards Gareth Property Owner

  • "We did have a problem with the heating."

Initially the bedroom was very cold and we could not alter the radiators in the bedroom. I can't remember how we made contact with owners but it transpired that they had remote access to the thermostat and were able to activate the bedroom heating. They were very good however but the tenants shouldn't have need to contact the owners for any reason.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We recently emailed you to inform you about a WiFi outage due to routine maintenance by our service provider. We understand that you mentioned the bedroom was chilly at night, which initially seemed unrelated. However, upon checking the online portal, we discovered that some of the heating system had been turned off at the mains without our knowledge. We greatly appreciate your assistance in confirming that the radiators were cold and for switching the system back on at the mains spur. We're happy to report that the issue has now been resolved. We completely agree that guests should not need to contact either Sykes or us for such issues. However, we always make ourselves available for any queries and will promptly address them. Kind regards, Gareth Property Owner

  • "The cottage was well equipped & fairly clean, although a lot of cobwebs."

Very quiet, peaceful location. The bedroom was very damp - the smell of damp was unpleasant and the bedding & stone walls felt damp to the touch. We reported this to Sykes, who contacted the owner - their response was that the damp had been professionally treated & wasn’t an issue. For this reason I wouldn’t recommend this cottage for anyone with asthma or respiratory problems.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We take all feedback seriously and strive to address any issues with an open mind. We acknowledge that cobwebs can appear in our traditionally built, older property. We ensure these are addressed during every changeover, but some may occasionally be missed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. During your stay, we immediately engaged a professional to survey the bedroom. The survey confirmed that the room was dry, as was the freshly laundered bed linen. It was noted that the air vents on the windows were closed, which is not ideal for older properties that require proper ventilation. The surveyor also mentioned a damp smell, which may have been influenced by the presence of your two dogs. As pet lovers ourselves, we welcome dogs but recognize this might have contributed to the issue. We have recently stayed at the property for four nights to address your concerns directly. During our stay, we took the following actions: Purchased a new television for the upstairs room Replaced the washer on the second kitchen sink Held a meeting with our cleaning team to ensure all windows are fully opened during changeovers to ventilate the property and to double-check for any cobwebs. As someone who suffers from asthma, I personally find the Coach House to be a haven for relaxation and the best sleep. I'm sorry that your experience was not the same. Warm regards, Gareth Property Owner
