Other than that, we had a lovely time.

Most holiday lets have a little welcome vase of flowers, or small pack of bisc, or scone and jam and leaflets on surrounding areas. In other words - we expected what you see on the advertising pics! Inside was generally grubby - microwave door needed cleaning, wall hangings full of dust. There was nothing welcoming……… The bed was TINY and we’re 10st and 8st respectively. The worst was a smoke alarm fitted over the bed which had a light flashing in our faces every 30secs. Didn’t get a wink of sleep, left next morning.

Only one thing to suggest, the kettle on the hob took ages to boil, so an electric kettle would make all the difference. If we come again we will bring an electric kettle

  • "This hut is honestly one of a kind!"

Everything about it is just beautiful, the look, the views, the little (very friendly) Alpaca’s that are only a few metres from the hut and the people in the village! The local pub, The Huntsman, is such a lovely place to socialise and eat. They also have darts and a pool table so there is plenty to do of an evening. The hut is 1 of 2 and there are some cottages on the property also, but plenty of parking and evening a small park area with swings and a slide for younger ones! The property is kept immaculate and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities in with hut are spot on! The shower is decent and the bathroom is a really fair size considering you are in a small space! The hut was very clean inside and out. This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hut and we will be back again in the future.

  • "Listing indicated Wi-Fi was available."

This was not the case. Bed was dirty and had either fleas or ticks in it. Owner agreed to a refund but subsequently denied he had said that. Avoid at all costs.

  • "The Shepherds Hut was very lovely, cosy and clean!"

We couldn’t quite believe how many facilities the hut had, and you had really thought of every little thing from towels to sugar! The Llamas outside were lovely, friendly, clearly happy and very well behaved, it was so nice to see them every morning when we woke up, something we don’t see everyday! The whole site was clean and tidy and although there was lots of cottages that can be stayed in, we felt that at all times we had great privacy! As for surrounding areas, the local pub - The Huntsman Inn - was absolutely fantastic! Everyone was very welcoming, especially Zoe the manager. And being less than a couple minutes walk up the road made a nice night cap an easy task! There was tons of things to do in short distance from the hut including: wildlife parks, activity centres, castles, places to eat, super markets, take- aways and much much more!!

Was meant too be a 2 berth but I found that it was just about big enough for myself and luggage. Site is a bit remote but Neyland (which has a really nice Marina) is only about 2 miles away and is within easy reach of both Milford Haven & Haverfordwest. The owner of the site (Owen I think his name is) was very friendly and answered any questions I asked of the area. It's a pity the weather was unpredictable. All in all it was a pleasant mini break.

  • "We stayed in The Hurdle shepherd's hut."

This is a beautiful little hut, compact but it has everything you need, a comfortable double bed, a kitchen with a microwave a hob and a fridge, and an en suite! Outside sitting area and we had use of the onsite BBQ. Waking up to a herd of beautiful alpacas just outside your window is a treat. We brought our nervous little dog and even she loved it, we hardly saw anyone, so peaceful. We will be coming back.

Perfectly suited for the lone traveller, couples and families and mixed groups for family get togethers, holidays or short braeks. These Welsh stone barns have been lovingly converted by their owner to provide well sized rooms and modern facilities, whilst retaining their classic charm and period features such as wood burning stoves for a cosy night in, wood flooring and exposed beams. Additional accommodation has recently been added with two self-contained traditional Shepherd Huts and a Timber Lodge. Rosemarket is home to a village pub serving local ales and produce and a 9 hole golf course. The village is steeped in history with a Grade 2 listed limestone Church adjacent to the Cottages, a medieval Dovecote and an Iron Age settlement “The Rosemarket Rings” lying within the grounds of Church View. The cottages are situated on the owners smallholding, which is home to chickens, ducks, geese, and even a train of alpacas! Delicious honey produced by the Church View bees can be obtained along with an extensive variety of homegrown vegetables (when is season) all grown on site. If you do manage to venture away from the charms of Church View, there is access to the ‘Brunel cycle and walking path’ directly from the property and the world famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is a mere 4 miles away at Llanstadwell. 10 minutes drive is the Historic harbour town of Milford Haven, “one of the finest natural waterways” in the words of Lord Nelson. Around the recently redeveloped harbour you can enjoy a coffee or delicious meal in one of the many eateries or browse the wonderful craft shops. Travelling west past the Town of Milford Haven, you can discover the “picture postcard” coves and cliffs of Sandy Haven, Dale and Marloes Sands.
