All facilities very good. Beautiful view, very peaceful. Warm welcome from owners, very friendly. We did find it a bit too rural and didn't realise how far it was from the main road. It worried us that we might meet a tractor on the narrow lane. Luckily we didn't.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations, even though the pictures are great. A very warm welcome from our hosts, with welcome pack and they assembled and made the cot for our baby too - super helpful! Gorgeous location and very quiet. (The sheep are asleep at night). So peaceful. So much to do in the local area - local town Llandeilo is really nice, lots of castles to explore, Beacons on your doorstep, various Gardens to visit. Abergorloch forest and village was great with fab local pub. Lots of other nice eateries and farm shops around too. Gower is only 1 hour drive for a bit further afield. Lots to do in the local area, really great part of Wales.

It was a great pleasure to have such nice pleasant people staying at our cottage I hope we shall see them again sometime soon Property Owner

  • "One of a kind for stunning views, this tranquil cottage is nestled in gentle, rolling countryside."

Sheep grazed close to the raised patio at the back where a panorama of trees float off into the distance, as far as the eye could see. On good days, the patio is a suntrap ideal for private sunbathing. It is also a great location for a cup of tea or glass of wine. Of the many holiday venues we have ever stayed in, this is the cleanest - right into all the corners. Hot water was plentiful and heating effective. Furniture and beds were comfortable and the rooms were very airy and spacious. There was ample cutlery, crockery and glasses. As we never use a microwave, cooking utensils felt a bit limited. The owners were helpful and careful to respect our privacy. This is a great cottage in a unique location. Highly recommended.

Glad you enjoyed your stay the views are here always but the cooking utensils are what is usually needed as most people eat out anyway but I'm sure we could have done better if we had realised you wanted more thanks for staying with us Property Owner

The cottage had everything we needed and we felt that the photographs actually didn’t do it justice. The kitchen is a great space and we loved the little outdoor area and our little one loved watching the sheep which come right up to the fence. Beautiful views from the deck and we were fortunate with the weather so got to enjoy it. Owners are close enough if you need anything and we’re very friendly. If you’re travelling with a little one there’s a wooden mothercare highchair and a cot although we took our own cot so didn’t use that.

Friendly owners live opposite but the cottage felt completely private with the best feature being the sunny outdoor terrace. This place has such a good aspect to watch the sun set! We always look for homes that DON’T do pets as we get fed up of all the hype around animals & this was reflected in a very clean & fresh-looking cottage. Yes, the lane in is lengthy, hilly & narrow but worth it for being away from all the hullabaloo! Take your own bath towels ( hand towels & teatowels were provided) & there’s no welcome pack....
