"The duplex was very well kitted out, comfortable and scrupulously clean."
A short walk (although a hilly one) brought us into Saundersfoot harbour, with all the amenities, shops, cafes, bars etc. It was really a lovely place to spend a week, and the local beach was a nice place to spend a day, weather permitting. The only downside I would say is that the apartment block needs a bit of TLC, and some of the fittings in the duplex itself need some attention. Prospective holiday makers beware that no welcome pack is provided, not even a handful of tea bags or a pint of milk, which I’ve never had before, so come fully prepared!

"We really enjoyed our stay."
The flat is well equipped, comfortable and very conveniently located. We particularly enjoyed the sea view from the balcony.
-
"Excellent and clean facilities."
Great location to explore Pembrokeshire

"We had a wonderful stay at 24 Rhodewood House."
It was in a good position, had everything that we wanted and was very clean. Unfortunately the car charger wasn't working while we were there, but we charged in town ok. The owner, Andrea, was very accommodating and listened to our concerns. We would definitely like to return one day and we highly recommend it.

"Absolutely beautiful, 24 rhodewood house is stunning ,beautiful views , and all ..."
Absolutely beautiful, 24 rhodewood house is stunning ,beautiful views , and all the comforts of home ,its very well equipped with everything you need , we would most definitely book again

"The signage on the road from saundersfoot is not noticeable coming the opposite way the lettering isn't prominent,in the property there was only one bath towel and one hand towel needs two of each, apart from above comments above it was a very enjoyable stay,I will be looking to book with sykes again."
-
"Second visit to this well fitted out apartment."
It is in a lovely development in a quiet area with distant views to the sea. Second undercover parking space is a bonus if 2 couples are staying at the property and also a second bathroom.. Lift is useful when arriving to save having to carry luggage up the stairs. Short distance to shops and beach although some may find the hill a little steep. Would definitely like to return.
-
"Really good apartment."
Convenient for the town. Very clean and all that you could need was provided.
-
"Attention needed to central heating control and timing of bathroom fans."
Hi Sorry you had some issues during your stay The fans stay on while the lights are on in the bathrooms and then switch off automatically a short while after lights go off . Can you elaborate on the problem that you found so that we can address if possible. Thanks Property Owner
-
"Lovely clean and well appointed apartment."
Perfect for our family stay. Fantastic value, will definitely be booking again.
-
"Very comfortable with a lovely view."
Wifi good. Great location for some beautiful drives.
-
"The apartment was lovely."
It was comfortable and in a very good position for many places. Having parking and a lift was exceptional. The only small criticism would be the smell of drains in the ensuing which definitely needs addressing. It would also have been nice to have had a Welcome Pack of milk teabags and bread maybe as we couldn't get in until 4.00pm. Overall it was delightful and I would definitely return.

"This is a lovely apartment in a quiet area."
The underground garage parking is a little asset, we have an Evoque and had no problem parking it. Saundersfoot is a lovely place with good eating and drinking facilities. The apartment is about 10 minutes walk from the centre, but be warned that it is very uphill going back so you do need a certain amount of fitness.
-
"Ideally located for access to Tenby, Pembroke and St David's, and just a short walk from the village and beach."
-
"Modern property located perferctly for the beach and surrounding attractions"
-
"A really lovely apartment very close to the town of Sundersfoot, you are 5 minutes walk with lovely beach walks."
the apartment is a home from home for our stay and very relaxing and quite. We have used this Apartment for the past 3 years for our summer break - and would love to re-book but the price has increased due to the fuel cost. Would love to return during 2024...

"Wow - what a find!"
A beautiful apartment in an amazing location, it far exceeded our expectations. Just a few minutes walk from the beach and Saundersfoot village, this was the perfect location. The apartment is gorgeous, so comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely sea view - and it was immaculately clean. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!
-
"The apartment was in a very well maintained development convenient for both beach, coastal walks and shops."
Covered parking was a bonus although could be tight for larger vehicles. We particularly liked sitting out on the upper balcony which offered distant views of the coastline. Well appointed with good quality furnishings. Would happily return to this property.
-
"Our holiday accommodation was excellent, everything was catered for and the furnishings were of good quality."
My only complaint was that a dirty towel was hanging on the en-suite bathroom door.
-
"We’ve stayed in this accommodation on a number of occasions."
We come back as we love it! It’s excellent and in a perfect location - thank you to the owners!
-
"Lovely apartment, stylish decor and furnishings."
-
"The apartment is ideal."
Facilities were superb, well equipped kitchen as we do like to cook as well as eat out. Clean and very comfortable. The bath tap as mentioned by another guest is a little fidly but just a tiny point. Parking under the building was good, especially when the rain came! Altogether, fabulous. I would have no hesitation in recommending.
-
"Very comfortable, big upstairs accommodation to feel very much at home."
Clean, comfortable beds, nice that there is parking underneath especially when raining as you can get into apartment without getting wet. Good location to town, and a good spot for going out to see other placesLovely stay. Many thanks Gary and karen

"Lovely property with pretty views in an ideal location for local amenities, particularly the location to the beach which is a short walk from the property."
Would suggest owner leaves instructions on using some facilities which we found challenging for example we were unable to get the bath tap to run anything but cold water (resorted to filling the bath via the shower which was tedious!) Lovely modern bath so rather frustrating not to be able to take full advantage of it! Underground parking also would have been stressful for me but luckily my daughter was driving - but maybe a warning about this would be helpful as spaces are very tight. Spaces outside were always occupied and left no option other than using the allotted underground space. Overall it is a lovely peaceful property and we would certainly recommend it and would not hesitate to use it again.
-
"Lovely apartment clean and tidy everything there you would want Ideally situated for the town and surrounding areas we liked the two levels especially the upstairs with the balcony and the fantastic views we would well recommend the apartment it was a great holiday."
-
"A lovely apartment with a great view over Sundersfoot, the apartment was clean and welcoming as we arrived, and everything was there to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable."
It is a great location close to the beach, and local restaurants. Also close to plenty of places to visit and explore. This my second time to stay at this apartment, and already booked to stay a third stay at this lovely located apartment.
-
"Great apartment would definitely stay again."
Five minute drive from Tenby, and great location to explore Pembrokeshire from.
-
"Great property, have stayed here before and will do so again."
Furnished to a high standard and great location for access to Saundersfoot and Tenby
-
"A really lovely apartment, easy to find and every thing as it was listed, a really quite location to relax in and a great view of Sundersfoot."
There is plenty of places to eat only five minutes from the apartment, we enjoyed the relaxing time here after a very busy few months, and time to chill out. We would be looking a t using this apartment again to relax and chill out.
-
"We had to defrost the freezer it was completely froze up."
-
"The property was not very clean, long dark hairs in the bathrooms, we both have short fair hair."
The dishwasher only worked on the rinse programme. The bed was very worn with a dip in the middle. Also in the literature it said there was a games room, we couldn’t see any evidence of one. We have previously found a booklet or folder of useful local information in any properties we have rented giving bus routes, doctors, dentists etc. Unfortunately there was no information at all.
-
"Good accommodation but the double bed has seen better days."
-
"Having read some reviews I was a little concerned about the sofa, but a new one is in place which was extremely comfortable."
The whole apartment was clean, comfortable and in a lovely location . The WiFi was fast with no trouble. We watched Netflix by attaching our laptop to the TV with an HMDI cable which we took with us to the apartment. We did not hear any noise from other apartments even though it was half term. As others have said, if you have mobility issues the walk up and down to the beach might be too much but for us it was a 5 minute stroll through a footpath down to the nearest beach where we swam, rock pooled and ate chips and ice-cream. We walked the coastal path to Tenby and got the bus back. It was a beautiful walk with great views. We went on a boat trip from the harbour to see the seals which was fabulous (£20 ,per person - cash only) . Lots of venues were cash only which came as a surprise to us. The apartment has plenty of hot water, a good sized fridge freezer and views of the sea over the top of other apartments. I couldn't work out how to get the extractor above the hob to work - the owner quickly responded to tell me that it pulls out. The tap in the bath is brilliant but took some time for me to work out - it is like a joy stick controlling the temperature and flow of water. We may well return as we loved the apartment and it's position. Folly's Farm is good if you have children.
-
"The apartment is modern and comfortable."
Great sea view from the upper floor. Everything you need is there. My only suggestion would be that an information pack be included with the property telling you how to work the oven, hob and dishwasher and maybe the washing machine (which we did not use). A tiny criticism would be that the kitchen area could use doors (maybe folding) to lessen the noise of the dishwasher as it is very noisy. A short walk into Saundersfoot but be warned there is a small section which is very steep on the way back up but I wouldn't let that put you off. All in all a 5* experience.
-
"The apartment has a luxurious feel to it as soon as you walk in."
There was everything you need for a good relaxing holiday. Our down sides were the television reception which was terrible, the dishwash door didn't close properly and as stated previously there was no toilet brush in either bathrooms. It is close enough to Saundersfoot to be able to walk in (bit of a steep climb back up the hill) but still in a lovely and quiet location with lovely views of the bay across the rooftops . Would definitely stop here again.
-
"Fab apartment Well positioned in the village Lovely views Could not fault anything would definitely recommend it"
-
"I don’t think the situation of the accommodation would be suitable for people ..."
I don’t think the situation of the accommodation would be suitable for people who have difficulty in walking due to the steep hill from the centre of the resort
-
"The accommodation was excellent as true to the description, great location and great facilities."
I would definitely recommend and return
-
"Fabulous apartment !"
Did not want for anything Great to be in walking distance of the beach and shops/restaurants
-
"Lovely flat within 5 minutes walking distance of the sea with beautiful sea views from the balcony and every comfort provided."
We will return again, thank you
-
"Descriptions of house didn't quite match as in sea view (limited over tops of houses) the welcome pack was just bottle of milk in fridge were as in visitors book comments said they had lovely welcome gifts included bottle of wine ."
Settees are very low and have not much back support. Besides was warm and comfortable
-
"Slightly disappointed in so much as there was a bad drain smell in the shower room."
Also as per other reviews the sofas a much too low, I was unable to get up from them and had to use a folding chair which I had taken with me.(not very comfy)
-
"The house was very well equipped, so very comfortable and completely beautiful."
And the stunning view from the top floor balcony was a fabulous bonus. My granddaughters loved their meals on the balcony. But the cleanliness of the house is what really made my holiday. Thank you so much to the cleaning staff I didn’t need to spend my first day of of our holiday cleaning. And thanks also for the little welcome pack. Most helpful. One thing I would like to ask is that Sykes have a policy of standard consumables. It was lovely to have toiletries, washing powder and washing up liquid etc but because I haven’t had them left before I had taken them with us. I’m sure I’m not the only one to over- pack on these essential items to find them already there. Maybe Sykes could standardise all properties. Only a suggestion. Anyway we had a lovely stay in a beautiful house in a wonderful location.
-
"As previously stated by other guests we arrived with elderly parents the lift was a godsend but the settee is to low, my father in law has trouble walking following a stroke se he struggled to get up from the seat."
Could I suggest a higher settee be purchased. this did not distract from the fact that the apartment made the holiday one of out better stays away. I would not hesitate to book again.
-
"Excellent accomodation in a near perfect location."
The reason for the lower marks for comfort is simply down to the sofas being extremely low.(this was highlighted many times in the feedback book)
-
"Apartment was lovely, really well equipped and in a great locations (although the hill is a bit of a climb for those not fully mobile)."
The only comment regarding the apartment is that I agree with a previous reviewer that the sofas were low which was fine for my partner and I but would have been difficult if I had brought my mum.
-
"The view from the lounge balcony exceeded expectations, and provided a welcome place to relax with a coffee or have lunch."
We made good use of the easy access to coastal walks and the apartment's location on a bus route. There are many excellent features of this apartment, and the standard is very high throughout. The only negative comment we can make is that the sofas are uncomfortably low.
-
"A great time, lovely apartment, but we found that the sofa's were to low."
A toilet brush would have been useful in both bathrooms.
-
"The accommodation was close to the beach and main village facilities, yet tucked away, so lovely, quiet and relaxing."
It's a great location to access nearby coastal locations such as Tenby.
-
"Lovely clean and comfortable apartment located a short walk from Saundersfoot Seafront."
Well equipped. Would stay again.
-
"The apartment and it’s location was amazing."
Would suggest the the fact that it has a sea view from balcony would be a bonus as a selling point.
-
"Possibly the best property we've rented either in UK or abroad, through Sykes or others."
Large, modern apartment, beautifully decorated and fully equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor and living area above, allowing views over the sea. Reserved parking under the property. The private lift to the accommodation makes it easy to transfer bags. Only minor niggle would be the location: it's slightly out of town and although within walking distance, this involves a long steep hill which is problematic for anyone with mobility issues.
-
"The apartment was nice and clean and accurately reflected the listing."
The view across the bay from the balcony was an added bonus, as was the welcome pack. The area was quiet and was a good location to stroll down to the centre and beach. The outside courtyard was also very tidy. Our only feedback would be to switch the double bed for a king size bed (which would easily fit in the larger bedroom) and to mention the height restriction for the parking garage (our car and roof box were too tall to fit underneath the building). That said, there were free spaces directly below where we parked in each day. Overall, we had a great week and would definitely recommend this apartment.
-
"Brilliant place with all of the comforts of home, very comfortable bed and great shower, love the little area for sitting out for a cuppa in the sun, weather was amazing and the location was beautiful with something for all age groups,we went to Tenby and Amroth, also some great eating places,we went to Sues pantry everyday for fresh cakes and delicious rolls which we ate on the seafront, all in all a superb break."
-
"The location is perfect on a quiet complex with easy walk into village."
Exploring surrounding area is simple. Apartment was excellent.
