"No major issues with the accommodation apart from the sofa’s all 4 seats on the sofas have slightly gone making it difficult to get out of the sofa."
Narrow shingle path Kitchen looked much larger on the photographs when in real life only one person can be in the kitchen at any time The bedside cabinet in the main bedroom is very old and has a old musty smell when opened unable to use.
Thank you for your feedback and I hope you enjoyed your holiday. I am sorry that you thought our sofa's were not suitable, however I understand that we cannot please all customers in the same way. Both myself and Sykes believe that all of the images on the website are accurate and from the photographs you can clearly see that the kitchen area is a very small space. The bedside cabinet is an old wooden cabinet and as such smells of wood polish. The access path is indeed quite narrow but lends itself well to the “hideaway” feel of the bungalow, while obviously being wide enough for general use. It is unfortunate that you caused permanent damage to the top of the living room heater during your stay, as this has been impossible to rectify for future guests. Fortunately the unsightly marks you caused by the spillage on top of the wood burner are improving with care. I fully understand that accidents happen, however an acknowledgment of this would have been very much appreciated Property Owner

"We made complimentary notes in their Visitors’ book."
Lovely cottage, fully equipped with everything we would need. Excellent. Wonderful location, local bus to St. David`s.

"Once again a lovely break in the welsh countryside but within easy travelling distance to a good number of local attractions (castles, beaches etc)."

"Beautiful little bungalow in a central location for Tenby, newgale, St David's and many more coastal villages."
Bungalow is well equipped, clean and just right for three of us, it was so quiet ams peaceful. The only negative wa rhe sofa's were a little uncomfortable but this didn't affect our stay and we would definitely stay again

"Lovely bungalow everything you need for your stay."
Central for visiting the lovely surrounding areas. Nice little garden to watch the stars on a clear night. Recommend a visit to Marloe beach, bit of a trek to get yo the beach from car park but worth it. Hidden gem. Definitely would use again
-
"Smashing little place, very well equiped and comfortable except for the sofas, as mentioned in other reviews, but lots of cushions so not a problem."
Lovely sitting out area for when the sun shines. Would not recommend for a family due to size but for couples like us you could not wish for more.
-
"Enjoyed stay."
No complaints, would stay again. Some feedback, sofa becoming a little uncomfortable on seat. Storage might be a bit strained if three adults staying, especially for more than one week.

"This is a lovely cottage."
Yes the kitchen is small but ample unless you want to cook large meals. The double bedroom is compact but as there was only the two of us we put things in the other bedroom. The location is good for getting to St Davids and round the coastline. Solva is worth a stop and stumble head was beautiful. We also visited picton castle which we enjoyed. A lovely area with somewhere nice and quiet to return to.

"Just coming to the end of a fab week very comfortable well equipped only downside was no freezer co."
Partment in fridge so by the 4th day I had to bin our frozen food even though we had a electric cool box mostly my grandsons food

"Communication with owner was excellent - they went the extra mile to really make us feel welcome!"
Only minor gripe is no freezer or freezer compartment in fridge meant no ice for cold drinks! The cottage was clean and superbly equipped and really was a perfect little Hideaway. Thank you.

"We had a lovely holiday staying at Hideaway, really clean and comfortable accommodation and in a very quiet location."
We found the location excellent since it was only a very short drive to the sea front where we spend most days surfing. We found the owner friendly, helpful and seemed to have through of everything that we needed to have a very good holiday.

"This was a lovely little holiday home , small but with everything needed."
The kitchenette in particular was well equipped. Everything was very clean and well maintained.

"The owner of the cottage 'The Hideaway' made us most welcome over the phone when asking for key arrangements and the accommodation was spotlessly clean with many kind thoughts in evidence through provision of useful everyday items that you take for granted at home but which alas have been missing from other rental homes we've stayed in."
In particular, milk in the fridge and Welsh Cakes on arrival, salt and pepper, coffee some tea bags, clingfilm, tin foil, assortment of rubbish bags etc, etc. If we were being really picky, and although told be the owner before setting off, a fridge with a freezer compartment would have ben nice, the double bed proved too narrow for my wife and I to share as she has severe arthritis and any moves in that bed by either of us inevitably woke the other (not really a problem for us as I used the single bed in the back bedroom) and, alas, the sofas look very comfortable but, for us oldies, try sitting on them for any length of time! That said I do not wish to appear negative in any way, my wife and I had a splendid week away and thoroughly enjoyed our time at 'The Hideaway', thank you.

As we were there for Xmas Julia the owner left us a card, a bottle of wine & a small Xmas cake, as well as milk in the fridge for a long awaited cuppa,a very nice thought she also welcomed us with a text message.

"The Hideaway is perfect for two persons, or two plus a child or guest."
I was with my two sons (all in their 30s), and though one son had to sleep on an airbed on the living room floor, the small kitchen and single bathroom was adequate. Keyston is in the perfect position for Haverfordwest, Newgale beach, Nolton Haven, Broadhaven, or longer excursions. The village is a small quiet location, and the other inhabitants were cheerful and friendly. Lovely and quiet at night.

"Ideal location to explore Pembrokeshire Coastal path and National Park."
Within easy reach of main town of Haverfordwest. Very peaceful site, no traffic noise. Protected from the wind and the rain, giving you a ‘cosy’ feeling. Pleasant views across the countryside. Hideaway cottage owners had supplied useful information about walking in the area, along with other pamphlets for attractions. Their were extensive appliance details too. Had the weather been slightly warming, we would have enjoyed sitting in the garden, it was sheltered and appeared to be a sun trap. The birds roosting in the trees and visiting the garden would have been a delight to observe. We enjoyed our stay.

"Lovely cosy compact bungalow, we had everything we needed and the owner has paid attention to details to ensure we are happy."
Perfect location to visit many areas of Wales.

"It is a beautiful and cosy cottage to stay in."
The cottage is very clean ,we had everthing we needed. It is easy access to the attractions in Pembrokeshire from the location: village Solva, St Davids, Broad Haven, Little Haven,Dale, Tenby, Saundersfoot. Newgale beach only 5 mins drive. Julia is very friendly and helpful. On our arrival, Julia kept a bottle of fresh milk and a pack of Welsh cake for us , felt warmly welcomed by her kindness! We will definitely go back.

"Stayed here 1st Sept, had an excellent stay, The bungalow was excellent and very clean."
It had everything you needed. It was very quite which was ideal for us. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It's central to explore south wales. Newgale and its beach was only mins away. St Davids is about 15 mins away and was stunning and had a lovely feel to it. The wolf inn restaurant was excellent. and value for money but please try to book as its always very busy. Dont go to the lost coin as the food is cold and of a very poor standard. Tenby was stunning and a brill day out with lots to see. Also the lilly ponds were stunning. Hope to be going back again

"We had a fantastic time at this great cottage."
It has a fantastic location and Julia the owner is very helpful. The cottage has everything you could need and made our holiday. Looking forward to coming back. Super cottage and Pembrokeshire is amazing

"The cottage itself was very nice but access was poor."
Would not recommend for anyone with mobility problems. I myself need a mobility scooter to get about in and the access up to the cottage was not suitable at all. Was a quite steep stoned path with a step and a big slab so there was no way I could get up on my scooter. The only way I was able to get up the path was with 2 walking sticks which was difficult for me. I think information about access should be included in cottage description. Mrs Jackie Taylor.
Thank you for your feedback I am sorry that you found accessibility difficult. Sykes and I both found the description of the property to be adequate, however, following your feedback we have decided to provide further information to ensure this is more clear. Property Owner
