The property

Grassholm View is an inviting first-floor apartment nestled near the heart of Solva, Pembrokeshire.

Set in Llanunwas, the apartment is found in a large Georgian house which was once part of a country estate dating back over 400 years.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is just 400 yards from the property.

Perfect for couples, this welcoming retreat offers a designated parking space and easy access to the village's popular shops, pubs, cafes, galleries and stunning coastal walks.

As you turn into the wooded track leading to the house you’ll instantly start to relax.

The breathtaking, panoramic views over beautiful St Brides Bay can be enjoyed from both the sitting room and bedroom, relaxing on the sofas, or the window seats – or even whilst lying in bed!

Thanks to the thermostatically controlled central heating system the apartment is always cosy, ensuring a memorable and romantic getaway, whatever the season.

Inside the apartment, you'll be greeted by a well-appointed kitchen/diner, fully equipped for all your culinary creations.

Here, you can enjoy a romantic meal for two, prepared with local produce and served at the dining table while you discuss the day's adventures.

After dinner, retire to the welcoming sitting room, where you can curl up on the plush sofas and enjoy a film or your favourite series on the Smart TV.

When you're ready to call it a night, retreat to the spacious bedroom, where you can enjoy a rejuvenating sleep in the comfy king-size bed, ready for another day of Pembrokeshire adventures.

The bedroom is served by a sleek bathroom, complete with a bath, as well as a shower over offering a nice space to unwind in the evening and freshen up in the morning.

The heated towel radiator will ensure your towels are warm and toasty.

The iconic fishing village of Solva is just a stone's throw away, home to an array of coastal attractions and friendly pubs, cafes, shops and galleries.

Delve into the area's history with a visit to St Davids Cathedral, a site of pilgrimage and religious service for over 1000 years, and explore the ancient St Non’s Chapel and its mystical well - apparently the birthplace of David himself!

Textile enthusiasts will appreciate a stop at the Solva Woollen Mill, the oldest working woollen mill in Pembrokeshire.

For something a little different, pay a visit to Dr Beynon's Bug Farm, offering a unique, interactive and educational experience for all ages.

For those seeking excitement, set sail on a voyage of discovery to visit the islands just off the coast to visit the natural habitats and wildlife that call the Pembrokeshire coast their home.

However, you decide to spend your day, return to the comforting confines of Grassholm View for an evening of relaxation and serenity.

About the location

SOLVA

St Davids 6 miles; Haverfordwest 12 miles.

A superb village around a tidal harbour where boats can be launched and walks along the dramatic coast path will be a delight any time of the year. This pretty little village may be small but offers friendly pubs serving good food, gift shops, art galleries and a nearby superb woollen mill shop where special gifts can be bought to remember your stay in Wales. Lazy days sitting and watching the ebb and flow of the tide and the boats bobbing in and out of the harbour are a sheer delight. Visit the nearby woollen mill itself to sit by the waterwheel, go into the weaving shed or enjoy a break in the cafe. Just a few miles from Solva you can visit St Davids, the smallest city in Britain, with its magnificent St Davids Cathedral and wander the small streets to again find unique gifts, eat a hearty meal or an afternoon tea, or just sit in the peaceful grounds of the cathedral. It also houses Oriel y Parc an information centre offering suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. Whitesands Bay with its superb beach offers relaxing days or maybe some surfing. Take boat trips to spot dolphins and wonderful sea birds or take bike rides along country roads. A wonderful location to enjoy your Welsh holiday.
