  • "We had a brilliant stay at Bramble Cottage."

Tucked away down a secluded lane but with a fabulous view of the beach and across St Brides Bay from the lounge. Lovely and clean, well equipped and super friendly communications with the owners. For kayaking in the area, the cottage is well situated for coastal adventures. And with virtually no light pollution, the starry night sky was marvellous. Take binoculars or a telescope.

  • "The comfortable, well-equipped cottage is in a lovely quiet spot with fabulous views over St Bride’s Bay - the sunsets are spectacular."

We were extremely impressed with the standard of cleanliness throughout and also the trouble the owners went to to sort out a couple of minor teething troubles. Would highly recommend.

  • "A very comfortable, clean cottage with a superb sea view."

The upside down layout works very well. Very friendly owners who take pride in their holiday let and maintain it to a high standard, especially in these uncertain times. They were contactable at any time about any problems/questions etc. The beach, just a short stroll away, is fantastic. Plenty of space for all to maintain social distancing. A very enjoyable much needed break, wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

Spectacular views of the bay from the window seat in the lounge. The cottage was clean and well appointed. Sue and John did everything to make our stay feel safe and comfortable, thank you very much. I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay in this cosy cottage.

  • "We had a lovely short break in Bramble Cottage."

Our hosts, Sue and John, could not have been more helpful and it was very nice to meet them. The cottage is in a lovely situation, a very short walk to the beach (although crossing the rather busy road is not something I would want the children to do unaccompanied). The cottage was very spacious, and beautifully fitted out, and everything was exquisitely clean. The open plan top floor, comprising living room, dining area and kitchen, was particularly comfortable and welcoming with a gorgeous view of the sea. We would love to come back some day.

  • "The owners had been incredibly thoughtful in every aspect of what was provided."

The cleaning system before arrival was so very thorough, including steam cleaning, which was really reassuring. The interior was exactly as shown in the photographs and, more than that, the comfort was superb. As this was an October stay, the owners had thought about cool nights, with cosy duvets and beautiful throws for added warmth; the heating was set to make sure we woke every day to a cosy cottage; and there was even an electric log fire ( which we did not need) for the coldest winter weather. The views are beautiful and local walks breathtaking.

  • "Visiting Bramble Cottage was our first experience of travelling during the current Coranavirus restrictions."

We cannot praise the owners highly enough. They went out of their way to contact us to explain how the property was to be cleaned and tell us what extra measures they had taken. The property was immaculate and we felt immediately able to relax and enjoy our holiday. It is a comfortable and well appointed cottage with great views and spectacular sunsets from the first floor sitting room. We have already booked for next year!

  • "The cottage had a wonderful view which we were able to enjoy even on the inclement days."

The cottage is well located to explore the local area and is within reach of a few wet weather attractions which were unfortunately necessary during our stay. The owners of the cottage went out of their way to make the accommodation friendly for our baby which was very much appreciated. The cottage was fully equipped with everything that we needed and I would not hesitate in recommending a stay at this property.
