"This property is in a prime position in the heart of Tenby with easy access to the beach and town for the shops eateries."
Lovely comfortable spacious apartment with everything you need. We had a couple of cozy nights in watching the TV, we also visited our favorite restaurants these include the Cove and Salty's. Would definitely recommend this apartment and will be visiting again. Thank you to Sandra for being a great host.
Thank you Jane for your lovely feedback. I’m so glad you enjoyed your time in Tenby and would love to welcome you back. Property Owner

"Very happy withe the property."
Great location ans most comforts provided. Think operation of the TV and heating could be given as we found this confusing. No heating came on in the lounge ? On the directions I would add " walk towards the sea " Much easier to locate that way. All in all very happy with the property and we love Tenby
Thank you for your feedback. I will look into adding more instructions on the items you highlighted. Glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back one day Property Owner

"Very lovely property and great location, only issues were the entrance way from ..."
Very lovely property and great location, only issues were the entrance way from the street was very dirty and also people need to be made aware that there are meters opposite the front door that random people come and check
Thank you Cath for your lovely feedback I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. The problem with the stairs is everything gets blown (or thrown by passers by). It does get cleaned at every change over but being so close to the beach it can be a bit windy at times. I will ask Sykes to mention gas/electricity meters maybe read during the stay. All feedback is gratefully received and enables me to improve the flat. Property Owner

"Very clean with well proportioned rooms, good kitchen facilities & plenty of hot water ."
Everything was provided & accomodation was cosy most days. However this is not a ground floor apartment as described - it is a basement apartment with 12 steps down from ground/ street level on metal staircase. the only view was of the feet of passers by .Some kind of clothes drying for rainy days would have been a bonus as would a detailed instruction to allow the very low pre set radiator temperature output to be increased.
Hi Paul Thank you for your feedback. The summary of the property does say lower ground floor which you reach by descending stairs. I agree the main heading is ground floor which I have asked Sykes to change following the last review regarding this. I never want to mislead my guests and appreciate all feedback as this enables me to adjust things accordingly. I hope you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back. "The listing is for a "ground-floor apartment" with "ground floor accommodation" and a "ground floor bedroom", but the property is a basement flat."
The listing is thus inaccurate and misleading. If the flat were a ground floor property then the lighting would be sufficient, but it is not: the property was dark. We normally run our home central heating at 18 degrees, but found the property cold. This is probably because the radiator temperature on the boiler is set to around 33 degrees, with a notice stating "PLEASE DO NOT ALTER THESE SWITCHES". The small lounge heater was insufficient to compensate for the crippled central heating; the evidence of damp problems throughout is thus unsurprising. The lounge carpet is not particularly clean (lift the doormat to see what colour it's supposed to be).
Thank you Mr Johnstone for taking the time to give feedback on my apartment in beautiful Tenby albeit very negative. I take onboard all suggestions passed onto me regarding the good (which there are many) and the bad points regarding the property from my valued guests. 1. I have asked Sykes to amend the listing as it is most certainly not my intention to mislead anyone. 2. Being a holiday let and so very close to the beach and a light coloured carpet it is indeed very hard to keep clean and I think is only noticeable if u do lift the doormat. Nevertheless I have arranged for the carpet to be cleaned and a tiled area to be laid immediately in front of the front door. 3. The heating is controlled by a nest and has no limitations on how high it can be set to. I have had many lovely reviews regarding the property indeed highlighting the cleanliness, location to beach and town and its cosy feeling. Again thank you for bringing these issues to my attention. "Brilliant place to stay."
Great location and a lovely, clean and warm apartment. Milk left in fridge, courtesy biscuits. Easy access, good instructions about parking. Lovely soft sofa, and TV was all up to date, Netflix, etc. It was really homely.
