  • "Greengate is a great location only a couple of minutes to the top of North Beach and a wonderful view and access to the centre of Tenby."

The parking spot at the rear of the garden is a bonus, although as many have said, it is a very tight fit. We had a great holiday, Tenby is lovely and we had sunshine all week. The house did have everything we needed although the oven was a bit temperamental and the mattresses very soft! A good base for Tenby and surrounding areas.

  • "This is the third time for myself wife and dog to stay at this property and it will not be the last, the property was warm comfortable and within easy access of local pub and shops, approximately 5 - 10 min from the beach and main town, of road parking which is a boundary tenby and good external facilities in the garden should you wish to use them, we're looking at booking early 2025."

  • "Greengate is a lovely cottage, perfectly situated near to town, pub, train station, shops and garage."

An ideal base for a super holiday. Lovely neighbours and friendly people everywhere we went. The parking space was an added bonus too.

Thank you for your great feedback. We hope to see you again next year! Property Owner

  • "Information pack out of date."

Plenty of instructions for recycling but none of the special recycling bags provided. Parking may better off road but Access is dreadful and very awkward if you have a long car ie Estate.

  • "The house is very close to the beaches and town centre which is brilliant."

There have been comments about the parking so I won't add to those. We parked up and didn't use the car until we left, there was no need. The house has everything you need, the beds are comfortable and the water was hot. It's a little tired but we stayed at the end of the season so I'm sure that is something that will be addressed. The garden and outside area has seating and is enclosed which was great for our dog. We would stay again.

  • "The location was excellent for both beaches and town."

However the access by car was very difficult both in the narrow entrance and the poor state of the driveway and the parking of neighbouring cars. Although the facilities were good particularly a very good shower and plenty of hot water there were areas of cleanliness and maintenance which needed addressing. We were expecting a welcome hamper but all we got was a small bottle of milk and a packet of welsh cakes. This was not what I call a hamper. Despite these issues we did have a very enjoyable stay at Greengate.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry about the welcome pack but it is just a pack and not a hamper. We will try to make it clearer in the future Property Owner

  • "Overall a fantastic stay."

Lovely property and in an ideal location to Tenby Town and we would definitely recommend to everyone. Only things that slightly let things down were cleanliness - we had someone frozen bottle of milk left in freezer and freezer hadn’t been cleaned as there were bits of food in there. Also found a used ice lolly stick in bedroom drawers and food on dining room light switch which I would have expected to be cleaned. Only small things though. Maintenance - I would ask you to look at the shower rail as it was starting to come loose on the wall and the shower door bottom seal was letting water go onto the bathroom floor so might need replacing (apart from that bathroom and showers were fantastic) - would love to know where you bought your bathroom tiles from please? Driveway - this was the only real downside as the gap was very narrow and the state of the driveway was not good so although we managed to park we found it quite a chore to get in and out. Also one neighbour was awkwardly parking his silver car each day so it took a few attempts to get round him as he’d parked by the corner where we had to turn down the alley between the two properties. However we were warned about this so dealt with it. All in all a lovely place to stay and Tenby is beautiful so we will definitely be choosing your lovely house again when we visit next time. Thanks Lloyd and Samantha

Thank you for the warning about the shower bracket which we have sorted. The end of the shower glass is plastic and needs to be pointing into the bath. It cannot be sealed in. Sorry about the owner of the grey car. We have tried many times but he insists on parking his car on that corner. His house is up for sale. We are trying to have the drive tarmaced but we cannot get everyone’s agreement. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "The location of the property is fantastic with quick access to the town, beaches and train station, there is no need to drive anywhere once you have landed."

We found it difficult to find the rear entrance and to park the car. The sofa's are uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. The garden is south facing, so is fantastic to sit out in with plenty of seating. We would stay here again.

  • "Lovely cottage but access and parking in a very narrow, unmaintained lane was a bit awkward with a large estate car."

Good jobless my husband was fine with it! There were no extra recycling bags but apart from that it was lovely, very close to town and north beach

Thank you for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We are trying to get access improved but not all neighbours agree Have trying to get the lane resurfaced but as we don’t own it we cannot do it ourselves. But we will keep trying! Property Owner

  • "Second time we have stayed at Greengate."

The property is very cosy with all the facilities you need. It was clean and tidy and is very close to the town and beach. The garden could do with a tidy up and unfortunately there had been some very inconsiderate dog owners staying as the first morning we were there I picked up 9 dog poos from the grass before our dog had even done anything!
